CVE-2020-1751 3 Canonical, Gnu, Redhat 3 Ubuntu Linux, Glibc, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-14 5.9 MEDIUM 5.1 MEDIUM
An out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in glibc before 2.31 when handling signal trampolines on PowerPC. Specifically, the backtrace function did not properly check the array bounds when storing the frame address, resulting in a denial of service or potential code execution. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2020-11655 7 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 4 more 18 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 15 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
SQLite through 3.31.1 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (segmentation fault) via a malformed window-function query because the AggInfo object's initialization is mishandled.
CVE-2020-11501 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2026-10-14 5.8 MEDIUM 7.4 HIGH
GnuTLS 3.6.x before 3.6.13 uses incorrect cryptography for DTLS. The earliest affected version is 3.6.3 (2018-07-16) because of an error in a 2017-10-06 commit. The DTLS client always uses 32 '\0' bytes instead of a random value, and thus contributes no randomness to a DTLS negotiation. This breaks the security guarantees of the DTLS protocol.
CVE-2020-10531 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more 2026-10-14 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ through 66.1. An integer overflow, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow, exists in the UnicodeString::doAppend() function in common/unistr.cpp.
CVE-2020-10029 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more 2026-10-14 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.32 could overflow an on-stack buffer during range reduction if an input to an 80-bit long double function contains a non-canonical bit pattern, a seen when passing a 0x5d414141414141410000 value to sinl on x86 targets. This is related to sysdeps/ieee754/ldbl-96/e_rem_pio2l.c.

In Lib/tarfile.py in Python through 3.8.3, an attacker is able to craft a TAR archive leading to an infinite loop when opened by tarfile.open, because _proc_pax lacks header validation.
CVE-2019-20795 2 Canonical, Iproute2 Project 2 Ubuntu Linux, Iproute2 2026-10-14 2.1 LOW 4.4 MEDIUM
iproute2 before 5.1.0 has a use-after-free in get_netnsid_from_name in ip/ipnetns.c. NOTE: security relevance may be limited to certain uses of setuid that, although not a default, are sometimes a configuration option offered to end users. Even when setuid is used, other factors (such as C library configuration) may block exploitability.
CVE-2019-20367 4 Canonical, Debian, Freedesktop and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libbsd and 1 more 2026-10-14 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
nlist.c in libbsd before 0.10.0 has an out-of-bounds read during a comparison for a symbol name from the string table (strtab).
CVE-2019-20218 4 Canonical, Debian, Oracle and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Mysql Workbench and 1 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
selectExpander in select.c in SQLite 3.30.1 proceeds with WITH stack unwinding even after a parsing error.
CVE-2019-19959 2 Canonical, Sqlite 2 Ubuntu Linux, Sqlite 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
ext/misc/zipfile.c in SQLite 3.30.1 mishandles certain uses of INSERT INTO in situations involving embedded '\0' characters in filenames, leading to a memory-management error that can be detected by (for example) valgrind.
CVE-2019-19956 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
xmlParseBalancedChunkMemoryRecover in parser.c in libxml2 before 2.9.10 has a memory leak related to newDoc->oldNs.
CVE-2019-19906 8 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 5 more 20 Bookkeeper, Ipados, Iphone Os and 17 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
cyrus-sasl (aka Cyrus SASL) 2.1.27 has an out-of-bounds write leading to unauthenticated remote denial-of-service in OpenLDAP via a malformed LDAP packet. The OpenLDAP crash is ultimately caused by an off-by-one error in _sasl_add_string in common.c in cyrus-sasl.
CVE-2019-9948 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more 2026-10-14 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
urllib in Python 2.x through 2.7.16 supports the local_file: scheme, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass protection mechanisms that blacklist file: URIs, as demonstrated by triggering a urllib.urlopen('local_file:///etc/passwd') call.
CVE-2019-9674 3 Canonical, Netapp, Python 3 Ubuntu Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Python 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH

CVE-2019-9636 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 9.8 CRITICAL
Python 2.7.x through 2.7.16 and 3.x through 3.7.2 is affected by: Improper Handling of Unicode Encoding (with an incorrect netloc) during NFKC normalization. The impact is: Information disclosure (credentials, cookies, etc. that are cached against a given hostname). The components are: urllib.parse.urlsplit, urllib.parse.urlparse. The attack vector is: A specially crafted URL could be incorrectly parsed to locate cookies or authentication data and send that information to a different host than when parsed correctly. This is fixed in: v2.7.17, v2.7.17rc1, v2.7.18, v2.7.18rc1; v3.5.10, v3.5.10rc1, v3.5.7, v3.5.8, v3.5.8rc1, v3.5.8rc2, v3.5.9; v3.6.10, v3.6.10rc1, v3.6.11, v3.6.11rc1, v3.6.12, v3.6.9, v3.6.9rc1; v3.7.3, v3.7.3rc1, v3.7.4, v3.7.4rc1, v3.7.4rc2, v3.7.5, v3.7.5rc1, v3.7.6, v3.7.6rc1, v3.7.7, v3.7.7rc1, v3.7.8, v3.7.8rc1, v3.7.9.

In the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.29, proceed_next_node in posix/regexec.c has a heap-based buffer over-read via an attempted case-insensitive regular-expression match.
CVE-2019-8457 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more 2026-10-14 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
SQLite3 from 3.6.0 to and including 3.27.2 is vulnerable to heap out-of-bound read in the rtreenode() function when handling invalid rtree tables.
CVE-2019-6111 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more 2026-10-14 5.8 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
CVE-2019-6109 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more 2026-10-14 4.0 MEDIUM 6.8 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c.
CVE-2019-5188 6 Canonical, Debian, E2fsprogs Project and 3 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E2fsprogs and 5 more 2026-10-14 4.4 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A code execution vulnerability exists in the directory rehashing functionality of E2fsprogs e2fsck 1.45.4. A specially crafted ext4 directory can cause an out-of-bounds write on the stack, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability.
