| A flaw was found in cri-o. A malicious container can create a symbolic link to arbitrary files on the host via directory traversal (“../“). This flaw allows the container to read and write to arbitrary files on the host system. | |||||
| CVE-2026-104047 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-31 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-104040 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-31 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population. | |||||
| CVE-2026-104029 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-31 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). | |||||
| CVE-2026-1933 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform, Samba | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s handling of NTFS-style reparse points on shares configured with read only = yes. Due to missing SMB-layer access checks, authenticated users with underlying filesystem write permissions may create or delete reparse point metadata through SMB operations even on read-only exports. This could allow modification of SMB-visible file behavior, including converting files into symbolic links or other reparse point types. | |||||
| CVE-2026-18477 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 3 Tar, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
| A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check Time-of-Use) vulnerability in GNU tar's incremental dumpdir 'X' rename handling allows a local attacker with write access to a directory being backed up to influence the restore process if the attacker has access to the system where the restore is being performed. During restoration, files or directories may be created, renamed or overwritten outside the intended extraction directory. This could lead to unauthorized file modification or, in some cases, privilege escalation. Exploitation does not require the attacker to modify or craft the archive, and standard backup and restore workflows—including extracting into a newly created directory without using the -P option do not mitigate the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-11861 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 9.6 CRITICAL |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. When a trust relationship is configured between FreeIPA and Active Directory, Active Directory users can bypass authentication for FreeIPA services, including the portal, SMB server, and LDAP directory. This is possible by impersonating a client name in the Ticket Granting Service (TGS) due to FreeIPA services not verifying Privilege Attribute Certificate (PAC) certificates. This vulnerability could allow an authenticated Active Directory user to escalate their privileges within the FreeIPA domain. | |||||
| CVE-2025-6017 | 1 Redhat | 1 Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management through versions 2.10, before 2.10.7, 2.11, before 2.11.4, and 2.12, before 2.12.4. This vulnerability allows an unprivileged user to view confidential managed cluster credentials through the UI. This information should only be accessible to authorized users and may result in the loss of confidentiality of administrative information, which could be leaked to unauthorized actors. | |||||
| CVE-2024-9676 | 1 Redhat | 15 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux For Arm 64 and 12 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability was found in Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O. A symlink traversal vulnerability in the containers/storage library can cause Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O to hang and result in a denial of service via OOM kill when running a malicious image using an automatically assigned user namespace (`--userns=auto` in Podman and Buildah). The containers/storage library will read /etc/passwd inside the container, but does not properly validate if that file is a symlink, which can be used to cause the library to read an arbitrary file on the host. | |||||
| CVE-2024-9341 | 2 Containers, Redhat | 3 Common, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in Go. When FIPS mode is enabled on a system, container runtimes may incorrectly handle certain file paths due to improper validation in the containers/common Go library. This flaw allows an attacker to exploit symbolic links and trick the system into mounting sensitive host directories inside a container. This issue also allows attackers to access critical host files, bypassing the intended isolation between containers and the host system. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4813 | 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 21 Fedora, Glibc, Active Iq Unified Manager and 18 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A flaw has been identified in glibc. In an uncommon situation, the gaih_inet function may use memory that has been freed, resulting in an application crash. This issue is only exploitable when the getaddrinfo function is called and the hosts database in /etc/nsswitch.conf is configured with SUCCESS=continue or SUCCESS=merge. | |||||
| CVE-2013-1815 | 1 Redhat | 3 Openstack Essex, Openstack Folsom, Packstack | 2026-10-30 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
