CVE-2019-19126 4 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more 2026-10-14 2.1 LOW 3.3 LOW
On the x86-64 architecture, the GNU C Library (aka glibc) before 2.31 fails to ignore the LD_PREFER_MAP_32BIT_EXEC environment variable during program execution after a security transition, allowing local attackers to restrict the possible mapping addresses for loaded libraries and thus bypass ASLR for a setuid program.
CVE-2019-16168 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 17 more 2026-10-14 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
In SQLite through 3.29.0, whereLoopAddBtreeIndex in sqlite3.c can crash a browser or other application because of missing validation of a sqlite_stat1 sz field, aka a "severe division by zero in the query planner."
CVE-2019-16056 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 7 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.5.7, 3.6.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4. The email module wrongly parses email addresses that contain multiple @ characters. An application that uses the email module and implements some kind of checks on the From/To headers of a message could be tricked into accepting an email address that should be denied. An attack may be the same as in CVE-2019-11340; however, this CVE applies to Python more generally.
CVE-2019-13627 4 Canonical, Debian, Libgcrypt20 Project and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libgcrypt20 and 1 more 2026-10-14 2.6 LOW 6.3 MEDIUM
It was discovered that there was a ECDSA timing attack in the libgcrypt20 cryptographic library. Version affected: 1.8.4-5, 1.7.6-2+deb9u3, and 1.6.3-2+deb8u4. Versions fixed: 1.8.5-2 and 1.6.3-2+deb8u7.
CVE-2019-13565 7 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 4 more 9 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An issue was discovered in OpenLDAP 2.x before 2.4.48. When using SASL authentication and session encryption, and relying on the SASL security layers in slapd access controls, it is possible to obtain access that would otherwise be denied via a simple bind for any identity covered in those ACLs. After the first SASL bind is completed, the sasl_ssf value is retained for all new non-SASL connections. Depending on the ACL configuration, this can affect different types of operations (searches, modifications, etc.). In other words, a successful authorization step completed by one user affects the authorization requirement for a different user.
CVE-2019-13057 7 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 4 more 9 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more 2026-10-14 3.5 LOW 4.9 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the server in OpenLDAP before 2.4.48. When the server administrator delegates rootDN (database admin) privileges for certain databases but wants to maintain isolation (e.g., for multi-tenant deployments), slapd does not properly stop a rootDN from requesting authorization as an identity from another database during a SASL bind or with a proxyAuthz (RFC 4370) control. (It is not a common configuration to deploy a system where the server administrator and a DB administrator enjoy different levels of trust.)
CVE-2019-12900 6 Bzip, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 6 Bzip2, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 3 more 2026-10-14 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
BZ2_decompress in decompress.c in bzip2 through 1.0.6 has an out-of-bounds write when there are many selectors.
CVE-2019-10160 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 9.8 CRITICAL
A security regression of CVE-2019-9636 was discovered in python since commit d537ab0ff9767ef024f26246899728f0116b1ec3 affecting versions 2.7, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 and from v3.8.0a4 through v3.8.0b1, which still allows an attacker to exploit CVE-2019-9636 by abusing the user and password parts of a URL. When an application parses user-supplied URLs to store cookies, authentication credentials, or other kind of information, it is possible for an attacker to provide specially crafted URLs to make the application locate host-related information (e.g. cookies, authentication data) and send them to a different host than where it should, unlike if the URLs had been correctly parsed. The result of an attack may vary based on the application.
CVE-2018-20843 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more 2026-10-14 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
In libexpat in Expat before 2.2.7, XML input including XML names that contain a large number of colons could make the XML parser consume a high amount of RAM and CPU resources while processing (enough to be usable for denial-of-service attacks).
CVE-2018-14567 3 Canonical, Debian, Xmlsoft 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libxml2 2026-10-14 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
libxml2 2.9.8, if --with-lzma is used, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted XML file that triggers LZMA_MEMLIMIT_ERROR, as demonstrated by xmllint, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-8035 and CVE-2018-9251.
CVE-2018-14404 3 Canonical, Debian, Xmlsoft 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libxml2 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the xpath.c:xmlXPathCompOpEval() function of libxml2 through 2.9.8 when parsing an invalid XPath expression in the XPATH_OP_AND or XPATH_OP_OR case. Applications processing untrusted XSL format inputs with the use of the libxml2 library may be vulnerable to a denial of service attack due to a crash of the application.
CVE-2018-0495 5 Canonical, Debian, Gnupg and 2 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libgcrypt and 5 more 2026-10-14 1.9 LOW 4.7 MEDIUM
Libgcrypt before 1.7.10 and 1.8.x before 1.8.3 allows a memory-cache side-channel attack on ECDSA signatures that can be mitigated through the use of blinding during the signing process in the _gcry_ecc_ecdsa_sign function in cipher/ecc-ecdsa.c, aka the Return Of the Hidden Number Problem or ROHNP. To discover an ECDSA key, the attacker needs access to either the local machine or a different virtual machine on the same physical host.
CVE-2017-15422 5 Canonical, Debian, Google and 2 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Chrome and 4 more 2026-10-14 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Integer overflow in international date handling in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ before 60.1, as used in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 63.0.3239.84 and other products, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2016-9318 3 Canonical, Xmlsec Project, Xmlsoft 3 Ubuntu Linux, Xmlsec, Libxml2 2026-10-14 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
libxml2 2.9.4 and earlier, as used in XMLSec 1.2.23 and earlier and other products, does not offer a flag directly indicating that the current document may be read but other files may not be opened, which makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct XML External Entity (XXE) attacks via a crafted document.
CVE-2016-5131 8 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 5 more 14 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 11 more 2026-10-14 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Use-after-free vulnerability in libxml2 through 2.9.4, as used in Google Chrome before 52.0.2743.82, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors related to the XPointer range-to function.
CVE-2025-54288 2 Canonical, Linux 2 Lxd, Linux Kernel 2026-10-12 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
Information Spoofing in devLXD Server in Canonical LXD versions 4.0 and above on Linux container platforms allows attackers with root privileges within any container to impersonate other containers and obtain their metadata, configuration, and device information via spoofed process names in the command line.
