| Python 2.7.x through 2.7.16 and 3.x through 3.7.2 is affected by: Improper Handling of Unicode Encoding (with an incorrect netloc) during NFKC normalization. The impact is: Information disclosure (credentials, cookies, etc. that are cached against a given hostname). The components are: urllib.parse.urlsplit, urllib.parse.urlparse. The attack vector is: A specially crafted URL could be incorrectly parsed to locate cookies or authentication data and send that information to a different host than when parsed correctly. This is fixed in: v2.7.17, v2.7.17rc1, v2.7.18, v2.7.18rc1; v3.5.10, v3.5.10rc1, v3.5.7, v3.5.8, v3.5.8rc1, v3.5.8rc2, v3.5.9; v3.6.10, v3.6.10rc1, v3.6.11, v3.6.11rc1, v3.6.12, v3.6.9, v3.6.9rc1; v3.7.3, v3.7.3rc1, v3.7.4, v3.7.4rc1, v3.7.4rc2, v3.7.5, v3.7.5rc1, v3.7.6, v3.7.6rc1, v3.7.7, v3.7.7rc1, v3.7.8, v3.7.8rc1, v3.7.9. | |||||

| CVE-2019-8457 | 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| SQLite3 from 3.6.0 to and including 3.27.2 is vulnerable to heap out-of-bound read in the rtreenode() function when handling invalid rtree tables. | |||||
| CVE-2019-6111 | 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more | 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file). | |||||
| CVE-2019-6109 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c. | |||||
| CVE-2019-5188 | 6 Canonical, Debian, E2fsprogs Project and 3 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E2fsprogs and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A code execution vulnerability exists in the directory rehashing functionality of E2fsprogs e2fsck 1.45.4. A specially crafted ext4 directory can cause an out-of-bounds write on the stack, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2019-5094 | 5 Canonical, Debian, E2fsprogs Project and 2 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E2fsprogs and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An exploitable code execution vulnerability exists in the quota file functionality of E2fsprogs 1.45.3. A specially crafted ext4 partition can cause an out-of-bounds write on the heap, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2019-5018 | 2 Canonical, Sqlite | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Sqlite | 2026-10-14 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
| An exploitable use after free vulnerability exists in the window function functionality of Sqlite3 3.26.0. A specially crafted SQL command can cause a use after free vulnerability, potentially resulting in remote code execution. An attacker can send a malicious SQL command to trigger this vulnerability. | |||||

| On the x86-64 architecture, the GNU C Library (aka glibc) before 2.31 fails to ignore the LD_PREFER_MAP_32BIT_EXEC environment variable during program execution after a security transition, allowing local attackers to restrict the possible mapping addresses for loaded libraries and thus bypass ASLR for a setuid program. | |||||
| CVE-2019-16168 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 17 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| In SQLite through 3.29.0, whereLoopAddBtreeIndex in sqlite3.c can crash a browser or other application because of missing validation of a sqlite_stat1 sz field, aka a "severe division by zero in the query planner." | |||||
| CVE-2019-16056 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.5.7, 3.6.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4. The email module wrongly parses email addresses that contain multiple @ characters. An application that uses the email module and implements some kind of checks on the From/To headers of a message could be tricked into accepting an email address that should be denied. An attack may be the same as in CVE-2019-11340; however, this CVE applies to Python more generally. | |||||
