| CVE-2019-13565 | 7 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 9 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in OpenLDAP 2.x before 2.4.48. When using SASL authentication and session encryption, and relying on the SASL security layers in slapd access controls, it is possible to obtain access that would otherwise be denied via a simple bind for any identity covered in those ACLs. After the first SASL bind is completed, the sasl_ssf value is retained for all new non-SASL connections. Depending on the ACL configuration, this can affect different types of operations (searches, modifications, etc.). In other words, a successful authorization step completed by one user affects the authorization requirement for a different user. | |||||
| CVE-2019-13057 | 7 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 9 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more | 2026-10-14 | 3.5 LOW | 4.9 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in the server in OpenLDAP before 2.4.48. When the server administrator delegates rootDN (database admin) privileges for certain databases but wants to maintain isolation (e.g., for multi-tenant deployments), slapd does not properly stop a rootDN from requesting authorization as an identity from another database during a SASL bind or with a proxyAuthz (RFC 4370) control. (It is not a common configuration to deploy a system where the server administrator and a DB administrator enjoy different levels of trust.) | |||||
| CVE-2019-12900 | 6 Bzip, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 6 Bzip2, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| BZ2_decompress in decompress.c in bzip2 through 1.0.6 has an out-of-bounds write when there are many selectors. | |||||
| CVE-2019-10160 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| A security regression of CVE-2019-9636 was discovered in python since commit d537ab0ff9767ef024f26246899728f0116b1ec3 affecting versions 2.7, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 and from v3.8.0a4 through v3.8.0b1, which still allows an attacker to exploit CVE-2019-9636 by abusing the user and password parts of a URL. When an application parses user-supplied URLs to store cookies, authentication credentials, or other kind of information, it is possible for an attacker to provide specially crafted URLs to make the application locate host-related information (e.g. cookies, authentication data) and send them to a different host than where it should, unlike if the URLs had been correctly parsed. The result of an attack may vary based on the application. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20843 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
| In libexpat in Expat before 2.2.7, XML input including XML names that contain a large number of colons could make the XML parser consume a high amount of RAM and CPU resources while processing (enough to be usable for denial-of-service attacks). | |||||
| CVE-2018-14567 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Xmlsoft | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| libxml2 2.9.8, if --with-lzma is used, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted XML file that triggers LZMA_MEMLIMIT_ERROR, as demonstrated by xmllint, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-8035 and CVE-2018-9251. | |||||
| CVE-2018-14404 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Xmlsoft | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the xpath.c:xmlXPathCompOpEval() function of libxml2 through 2.9.8 when parsing an invalid XPath expression in the XPATH_OP_AND or XPATH_OP_OR case. Applications processing untrusted XSL format inputs with the use of the libxml2 library may be vulnerable to a denial of service attack due to a crash of the application. | |||||
| CVE-2018-0495 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Gnupg and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libgcrypt and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 1.9 LOW | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| Libgcrypt before 1.7.10 and 1.8.x before 1.8.3 allows a memory-cache side-channel attack on ECDSA signatures that can be mitigated through the use of blinding during the signing process in the _gcry_ecc_ecdsa_sign function in cipher/ecc-ecdsa.c, aka the Return Of the Hidden Number Problem or ROHNP. To discover an ECDSA key, the attacker needs access to either the local machine or a different virtual machine on the same physical host. | |||||
| CVE-2017-15422 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Google and 2 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Chrome and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Integer overflow in international date handling in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ before 60.1, as used in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 63.0.3239.84 and other products, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page. | |||||
| CVE-2016-9318 | 3 Canonical, Xmlsec Project, Xmlsoft | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Xmlsec, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| libxml2 2.9.4 and earlier, as used in XMLSec 1.2.23 and earlier and other products, does not offer a flag directly indicating that the current document may be read but other files may not be opened, which makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct XML External Entity (XXE) attacks via a crafted document. | |||||
| CVE-2016-5131 | 8 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 5 more | 14 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 11 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in libxml2 through 2.9.4, as used in Google Chrome before 52.0.2743.82, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors related to the XPointer range-to function. | |||||
| CVE-2011-3389 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Google and 6 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Chrome and 14 more | 2026-10-09 | 4.3 MEDIUM | N/A |
| The SSL protocol, as used in certain configurations in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and other products, encrypts data by using CBC mode with chained initialization vectors, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain plaintext HTTP headers via a blockwise chosen-boundary attack (BCBA) on an HTTPS session, in conjunction with JavaScript code that uses (1) the HTML5 WebSocket API, (2) the Java URLConnection API, or (3) the Silverlight WebClient API, aka a "BEAST" attack. | |||||
| CVE-2015-5477 | 13 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 10 more | 77 Os X Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 74 more | 2026-10-09 | 7.8 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
| named in ISC BIND 9.x before 9.9.7-P2 and 9.10.x before 9.10.2-P3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (REQUIRE assertion failure and daemon exit) via TKEY queries. | |||||
| CVE-2020-13934 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 14 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 11 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An h2c direct connection to Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M5 to 9.0.36 and 8.5.1 to 8.5.56 did not release the HTTP/1.1 processor after the upgrade to HTTP/2. If a sufficient number of such requests were made, an OutOfMemoryException could occur leading to a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2020-11996 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 8 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A specially crafted sequence of HTTP/2 requests sent to Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M5, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.35 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.55 could trigger high CPU usage for several seconds. If a sufficient number of such requests were made on concurrent HTTP/2 connections, the server could become unresponsive. | |||||
| CVE-2019-20445 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 8 Spark, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| HttpObjectDecoder.java in Netty before 4.1.44 allows a Content-Length header to be accompanied by a second Content-Length header, or by a Transfer-Encoding header. | |||||
| CVE-2019-20444 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| HttpObjectDecoder.java in Netty before 4.1.44 allows an HTTP header that lacks a colon, which might be interpreted as a separate header with an incorrect syntax, or might be interpreted as an "invalid fold." | |||||
| CVE-2019-1551 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| There is an overflow bug in the x64_64 Montgomery squaring procedure used in exponentiation with 512-bit moduli. No EC algorithms are affected. Analysis suggests that attacks against 2-prime RSA1024, 3-prime RSA1536, and DSA1024 as a result of this defect would be very difficult to perform and are not believed likely. Attacks against DH512 are considered just feasible. However, for an attack the target would have to re-use the DH512 private key, which is not recommended anyway. Also applications directly using the low level API BN_mod_exp may be affected if they use BN_FLG_CONSTTIME. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1e (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1d). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2u (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2t). | |||||
| CVE-2019-16869 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Netty and 1 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Netty and 2 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| Netty before 4.1.42.Final mishandles whitespace before the colon in HTTP headers (such as a "Transfer-Encoding : chunked" line), which leads to HTTP request smuggling. | |||||
| CVE-2019-13962 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 1 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Backports Sle and 2 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| lavc_CopyPicture in modules/codec/avcodec/video.c in VideoLAN VLC media player through 3.0.7 has a heap-based buffer over-read because it does not properly validate the width and height. | |||||
