| CVE-2026-64190 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: team: fix NULL pointer dereference in team_xmit during mode change __team_change_mode() clears team->ops with memset() before restoring safe dummy handlers via team_adjust_ops(). A concurrent team_xmit() running under RCU on another CPU can read team->ops.transmit during this window and call a NULL function pointer, crashing the kernel. The race requires a mode change (CAP_NET_ADMIN) concurrent with transmit on the team device. BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000 Oops: 0010 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI RIP: 0010:0x0 Call Trace: team_xmit (drivers/net/team/team_core.c:1853) dev_hard_start_xmit (net/core/dev.c:3904) __dev_queue_xmit (net/core/dev.c:4871) packet_sendmsg (net/packet/af_packet.c:3109) __sys_sendto (net/socket.c:2265) The original code assumed that no ports means no traffic, so mode changes could freely memset()/memcpy() the ops. AF_PACKET with forced carrier breaks that assumption. Prevent the race instead of making it safe: replace memset()/memcpy() with per-field updates that never touch transmit or receive. Those two handlers are managed solely by team_adjust_ops(), which already installs dummies when tx_en_port_count == 0 (always true during mode change since no ports are present). WRITE_ONCE/READ_ONCE prevent store/load tearing on the handler pointers. synchronize_net() before exit_op() drains in-flight readers that may still reference old mode state from before port removal switched the handlers to dummies. | |||||
| CVE-2026-64212 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mld: don't dereference a pointer before NULL checking it In iwl_mld_remove_link, the link->fw_id is saved at the beginning of the function so we have it after we freed the link. But the link pointer can be NULL, and is not checked when the fw_id is stored. Fix it by simply freeing the link at the end of the function. fFixes: 0e66a39f4f0e ("wifi: iwlwifi: fix potential use after free in iwl_mld_remove_link()") | |||||
| CVE-2026-64214 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/time: Remove redundant preempt_disable|enable() calls from arch_irq_work_raise() A kernel panic is observed when handling machine check exceptions from real mode. BUG: Unable to handle kernel data access on read at 0xc00000006be21300 Oops: Kernel access of bad area, sig: 11 [#1] MSR: 8000000000001003 <SF,ME,RI,LE> CR: 88222248 XER: 00000005 CFAR: c00000000003ffc4 DAR: c00000006be21300 DSISR: 40000000 IRQMASK: 0 NIP [c000000000029e40] arch_irq_work_raise+0x10/0x70 LR [c00000000003ffc8] machine_check_queue_event+0xa8/0x150 Call Trace: [c0000000179d3c70] [c00000000003ff64] machine_check_queue_event+0x44/0x150 [c0000000179d3d30] [c0000000000084e0] machine_check_early_common+0x1f0/0x2c0 The crash occurs because arch_irq_work_raise() calls preempt_disable() from machine check exception (MCE) handlers running in real mode. In this context, accessing the preempt_count can fault, leading to the panic. The preempt_disable()/preempt_enable() pair in arch_irq_work_raise() was originally added by commit 0fe1ac48bef0 ("powerpc/perf_event: Fix oops due to perf_event_do_pending call") to avoid races while raising irq work from exception context. Later, commit 471ba0e686cb ("irq_work: Do not raise an IPI when queueing work on the local CPU") added preemption protection in irq_work_queue() path, while commit 20b876918c06 ("irq_work: Use per cpu atomics instead of regular atomics") added equivalent protection in irq_work_queue_on() before reaching arch_irq_work_raise(): irq_work_queue() / irq_work_queue_on() -> preempt_disable() -> __irq_work_queue_local() -> irq_work_raise() -> arch_irq_work_raise() As a result, callers other than mce_irq_work_raise() already execute with preemption disabled, making the additional preempt_disable()/preempt_enable() pair in arch_irq_work_raise() redundant. The arch_irq_work_raise() function executes in NMI context when called from MCE handler. Hence we will not be preempted or scheduled out since we are in NMI context with MSR[EE]=0. Therefore, it is safe to remove the preempt_disable()/preempt_enable() calls from here. Remove it to avoid accessing preempt_count from real mode context. [Maddy: Fixed the commit title] | |||||

| CVE-2026-58101 | 1 Jonasbn | 1 Crypt\ | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Crypt::OpenSSL::X509 versions before 2.1.3 for Perl allow denial of service via NULL pointer dereference. X509V3_EXT_d2i(ext) returns NULL when an extension's DER value fails to parse. basicC, ia5string, and auth_att dereference its result without a NULL check. keyid_data also dereferences akid->keyid, which is NULL for an empty AKI SEQUENCE (DER 30 00) even when the parse succeeds. A caller invoking an affected helper on an extension from an untrusted certificate triggers a SIGSEGV that crashes the Perl process. | |||||

| CVE-2026-47427 | 1 Github | 1 Mcp Server | 2026-08-08 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| GitHub MCP Server is GitHub's official MCP Server. Prior to 1.1.0, the CompletionsHandler function in pkg/github/server.go accesses params.Ref without first checking whether it is nil, so a completion/complete request with a missing or empty ref field triggers a nil pointer dereference and a Go runtime panic; because the crash occurs before any authentication or token validation, any unauthenticated client able to send JSON-RPC messages can crash the server, resulting in a complete denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-10670 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-08-06 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| The CONFIG_USERSPACE verification handler for the k_thread_name_copy() system call (z_vrfy_k_thread_name_copy() in kernel/thread.c) calls k_object_find() on the caller-supplied thread pointer and then dereferences the returned struct k_object without checking it for NULL. k_object_find() returns NULL whenever the supplied pointer is not a registered (static or dynamic) kernel object. The pre-fix guard tested thread == NULL instead of ko == NULL, so an unprivileged user-mode thread that invokes k_thread_name_copy() with any non-NULL but unregistered pointer (e.g. an arbitrary address) passes the NULL test, after which the verifier reads ko->type through a NULL pointer. Because the syscall verifier runs in supervisor mode, this NULL dereference is a kernel-mode fault that halts or reboots the system, allowing untrusted user code to crash the kernel across the userspace security boundary (denial of service). The marshaller passes the thread argument to the verifier without any prior K_SYSCALL_OBJ validation, so the bad pointer reaches the defect directly. The flaw affects builds with CONFIG_USERSPACE and CONFIG_THREAD_NAME enabled and has been present since the special-case lookup was introduced around v2.0.0; it is present in v4.4.0 and earlier. The fix changes the guard to check the k_object_find() return value (ko == NULL) before dereferencing it. | |||||

| CVE-2026-13070 | 1 Mongodb | 1 Mongodb | 2026-08-05 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| A MongoDB server initiating an outbound TLS connection may terminate abnormally when processing a malformed OCSP response from a remote peer during the TLS handshake. OCSP stapling validation is enabled by default for outgoing TLS connections. Affected scenarios require the remote peer to hold a certificate issued by the cluster's trusted certificate authority, or for the connection to traverse an untrusted network path. | |||||
| CVE-2025-37774 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: slab: ensure slab->obj_exts is clear in a newly allocated slab page ktest recently reported crashes while running several buffered io tests with __alloc_tagging_slab_alloc_hook() at the top of the crash call stack. The signature indicates an invalid address dereference with low bits of slab->obj_exts being set. The bits were outside of the range used by page_memcg_data_flags and objext_flags and hence were not masked out by slab_obj_exts() when obtaining the pointer stored in slab->obj_exts.
