| CVE-2026-48741 | 2026-10-21 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, alternateArrayAccess in src/mms/iso_mms/server/mms_read_service.c does not validate an alternate-access sub-array range when numberOfElements is greater than zero. An out-of-range MmsValue_getElement call returns NULL, and the sub-array branch passes that value to MmsValue_isDeletable, causing a NULL pointer dereference. A remote MMS Read request can therefore crash servers whose data models contain arrays, while the single-element error path handles the same invalid index safely. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-107888 | 1 Openprinting | 1 Cups | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 5.1 MEDIUM |
| OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a NULL pointer dereference in cupsdCheckJobs() when a job marked job-held-on-create refers to a temporary printer that has been automatically deleted. Temporary-printer cleanup can remove the destination without canceling its held jobs, and the scheduler dereferences the NULL result of cupsdFindDest() while checking holding_new_jobs. This terminates cupsd and interrupts all queues managed by that process. In some plausible scenarios, an unprivileged submission can trigger this. | |||||
| CVE-2026-107890 | 1 Openprinting | 1 Cups | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
| OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a NULL pointer dereference caused by repeated IPP group tags in job-creation requests. IPP parsing creates unnamed separator attributes with IPP_TAG_ZERO, but add_job() converts these separators to IPP_TAG_JOB. During job startup, get_options()/ipp_length() subsequently calls strlen() on a NULL attribute name, terminating cupsd and disrupting all queues. A single crafted Print-Job request can trigger the crash when the client can reach the scheduler and submit jobs to an accepting, enabled queue supporting the submitted document format. Anonymous submission is possible when permitted by listener and access-control configuration. | |||||
| CVE-2026-109679 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| FreeRDP 3.0.0-beta4 before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference in arm_handle_request_ok when an ARM endpoint returns an empty HTTP 200 body. Attackers controlling the configured ARM gateway can return a zero-length body to pass NULL to strnlen and crash the connecting client. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76787 | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||
| The UpdateHub firmware-over-the-air client parses the CoAP probe response with Zephyr's JSON library in z_impl_updatehub_probe() (subsys/mgmt/updatehub/updatehub.c). The decoder treats every descriptor field as optional — json_obj_parse() returns a bitmask of the fields it actually decoded and never fails on a missing one — so a response that omits the "sha256sum" string leaves the corresponding const char * in the zero-initialised struct resp_probe_any_boards / struct resp_probe_some_boards at NULL. Both metadata branches then computed sha256size = strlen(...objects.sha256sum) + 1 before any validation, dereferencing that NULL pointer; the SHA256_HEX_DIGEST_SIZE test that follows operates on a value the bad read has already produced and cannot prevent it. The metadata is supplied entirely by the network peer: probe_cb() accepts the datagram, runs coap_packet_parse() and copies the payload with no token matching and no cryptographic check. With CONFIG_UPDATEHUB_DTLS unset — the default — start_coap_client() uses plain CoAP over UDP on port 5683 with no peer authentication and resolves the server via unauthenticated DNS, so an on-path attacker, a DNS spoofer, or an off-path attacker who wins the race with a forged source address can deliver the malformed metadata. A probe response as simple as "objects":[[{}],[{}]] suffices, and no user interaction is required because updatehub_autohandler() polls on CONFIG_UPDATEHUB_POLL_INTERVAL. When CONFIG_UPDATEHUB_DTLS=y the trigger narrows to a malicious or compromised update server. The primitive is a read at address zero, not a write, so the impact is availability only. On targets where the low address range is unmapped or protected — MMU-based architectures, builds with CONFIG_NULL_POINTER_EXCEPTION_DETECTION_DWT/_MPU/_PMP, TrustZone non-secure images, and SoCs such as nRF54L whose 0x0–0x400 window is unmapped — the load faults and Zephyr's default fatal handler halts the system, giving a remotely re-triggerable denial of service on every poll. On classic Cortex-M targets where the vector table is readable at address zero the walk usually terminates immediately and the request is rejected by the length check, so the outcome is configuration- and SoC-dependent. There is no memory write, and the copied bytes are only compared against the locally computed image hash, so there is no information-disclosure channel. The fix adds an explicit sha256sum == NULL test that returns UPDATEHUB_METADATA_ERROR ahead of the strlen() in both metadata branches. Debug builds (CONFIG_UPDATEHUB_LOG_LEVEL=4) still format the same pointers with %s in a LOG_DBG() loop that runs before the new checks, so that variant remains in debug configurations only. | |||||

| CVE-2026-43841 | 2026-10-20 | N/A | N/A | ||

| CVE-2026-111373 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the websocket transport that allows a malicious gateway to crash clients by sending zero-length pings. When the payload length is zero, websocket_reply_pong passes a nullptr stream to websocket_reply_close, triggering an assertion failure that terminates the client process and causes denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-97394 | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. From 0.136.0 until 0.143.0, openapi3filter accepts OpenAPI 3.1 array schemas without an items keyword and then dereferences the nil Schema.Items value while decoding application/x-www-form-urlencoded or multipart/form-data request bodies, response headers, and other array parameter surfaces. A remote unauthenticated client can reach an affected operation with a nonempty request or matching response and deterministically trigger a nil-pointer panic during ValidateRequest or ValidateResponse. OpenAPI 3.0 documents are not affected because document validation rejects arrays without items, and JSON request bodies use a different decoder path. This issue is fixed in version 0.143.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-110659 | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM | ||
| ELFIO through 3.12 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in relocation_section_accessor get_entry() that allows attackers to crash applications via an unvalidated sh_link index. Attackers can supply a crafted ELF file whose SHT_REL or SHT_RELA section has a dangling sh_link, causing find_hash_section() to dereference null and deny service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-101302 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| TLS 1.3 embeds the actual record type as the last non-zero byte of the decrypted payload, optionally followed by zero padding. The code which searches for the inner record type had an off-by-one bug which could be triggered by an invalid frame, leading to an underflow followed by an unconditional NULL pointer dereference, causing a kernel panic. A remote TLS 1.3 peer can send a specially crafted record to trigger a kernel panic, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | |||||
| CVE-2026-72036 | 2026-10-19 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_multiq: Replace direct dequeue call with peek and qdisc_dequeue_peeked multiq_dequeue() takes a packet from a band's child with a direct ->dequeue() call after multiq_peek() peeked it. When the child is non-work-conserving the peek stashes the skb in the child's gso_skb, so the direct dequeue returns a different skb and orphans the stash, desyncing the child's qlen/backlog. With a qfq child reached through a peeking parent (e.g. tbf) this re-enters the child on an emptied list and dereferences NULL, panicking the kernel from softirq on ordinary egress. Take the packet through qdisc_dequeue_peeked(), as sch_prio already does and as sch_red and sch_sfb were just fixed to do. The helper is a no-op when the child has no stash, so a work-conserving child is unaffected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72035 | 2026-10-19 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH | ||
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_taprio: Replace direct dequeue call with peek and qdisc_dequeue_peeked When taprio's software path peeks a non-work-conserving child qdisc, the child stashes the peeked skb in its gso_skb; taprio_dequeue_from_txq() then takes the packet with a direct child ->dequeue() call, which ignores that stash, orphans the peeked skb and desyncs the child's qlen/backlog. With a qfq child this re-enters the child on an emptied list and dereferences NULL, panicking the kernel from softirq on ordinary egress. Take the packet through qdisc_dequeue_peeked(), as sch_red and sch_sfb now do. The helper returns the child's stashed skb first and is a no-op when there is none, so a work-conserving child is unaffected and the gated path now consumes the skb whose length was charged to the budget. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72034 | 2026-10-19 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fhandle: reject detached mounts in capable_wrt_mount() The recent fhandle RCU fix moved the mount namespace capability check into capable_wrt_mount(), so a non-NULL mnt_namespace survives the ns_capable() dereference. The helper still assumes the later READ_ONCE(mount->mnt_ns) must be non-NULL because may_decode_fh() checked is_mounted() first. That assumption is not stable. A detached mount from open_tree(..., OPEN_TREE_CLONE) can be dissolved on fput while open_by_handle_at() is between those checks, and umount_tree() can clear mount->mnt_ns. If the helper observes NULL, it dereferences mnt_ns->user_ns and panics. Return false when the RCU read observes a detached mount. This keeps the relaxed permission path conservative: a mount no longer attached to a namespace cannot authorize open_by_handle_at() access. | |||||
| CVE-2026-68385 | 2026-10-19 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/checksum: Fix csum_partial() without vector facility Currently csum_partial() calls csum_copy() with copy=false and dst=NULL. On machines without the vector facility, csum_copy() falls back to cksm(dst, ...), causing the checksum to be calculated from address zero instead of the source buffer. The VX implementation already checksums data loaded from src. Make the fallback do the same by passing src to cksm(). | |||||
| CVE-2026-68354 | 2026-10-19 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firewire: net: Fix fragmented datagram reassembly fwnet_frag_new() keeps a sorted list of received fragments for a partial datagram. When a new fragment is adjacent to an existing fragment, the code checks whether the new fragment also closes the gap to the next or previous list entry. Those neighbor lookups currently assume that the current fragment always has a real next or previous fragment. At a list edge, the next or previous entry is the list head, not a struct fwnet_fragment_info. The gap checks also compare against the old edge of the current fragment instead of the edge after adding the new fragment. As a result, a fragment that bridges two existing ranges may leave two adjacent ranges unmerged, so fwnet_pd_is_complete() can miss a complete datagram. Check for the list head before looking up the neighboring fragment, and compare the neighbor against the new fragment's far edge when deciding whether to merge all three ranges. This issue was found by a static analysis checker and confirmed by manual source review. | |||||
