| CVE-2020-13935 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 18 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 15 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| The payload length in a WebSocket frame was not correctly validated in Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.36, 8.5.0 to 8.5.56 and 7.0.27 to 7.0.104. Invalid payload lengths could trigger an infinite loop. Multiple requests with invalid payload lengths could lead to a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2020-1938 | 7 Apache, Blackberry, Debian and 4 more | 21 Geode, Tomcat, Good Control and 18 more | 2026-08-25 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| When using the Apache JServ Protocol (AJP), care must be taken when trusting incoming connections to Apache Tomcat. Tomcat treats AJP connections as having higher trust than, for example, a similar HTTP connection. If such connections are available to an attacker, they can be exploited in ways that may be surprising. In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99, Tomcat shipped with an AJP Connector enabled by default that listened on all configured IP addresses. It was expected (and recommended in the security guide) that this Connector would be disabled if not required. This vulnerability report identified a mechanism that allowed: - returning arbitrary files from anywhere in the web application - processing any file in the web application as a JSP Further, if the web application allowed file upload and stored those files within the web application (or the attacker was able to control the content of the web application by some other means) then this, along with the ability to process a file as a JSP, made remote code execution possible. It is important to note that mitigation is only required if an AJP port is accessible to untrusted users. Users wishing to take a defence-in-depth approach and block the vector that permits returning arbitrary files and execution as JSP may upgrade to Apache Tomcat 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later. A number of changes were made to the default AJP Connector configuration in 9.0.31 to harden the default configuration. It is likely that users upgrading to 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later will need to make small changes to their configurations. | |||||
| CVE-2020-9484 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 26 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 23 more | 2026-08-25 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
| When using Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M4, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.34, 8.5.0 to 8.5.54 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.103 if a) an attacker is able to control the contents and name of a file on the server; and b) the server is configured to use the PersistenceManager with a FileStore; and c) the PersistenceManager is configured with sessionAttributeValueClassNameFilter="null" (the default unless a SecurityManager is used) or a sufficiently lax filter to allow the attacker provided object to be deserialized; and d) the attacker knows the relative file path from the storage location used by FileStore to the file the attacker has control over; then, using a specifically crafted request, the attacker will be able to trigger remote code execution via deserialization of the file under their control. Note that all of conditions a) to d) must be true for the attack to succeed. | |||||
| CVE-2021-25329 | 3 Apache, Debian, Oracle | 12 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Product Lifecycle Management and 9 more | 2026-08-25 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
| The fix for CVE-2020-9484 was incomplete. When using Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41, 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 or 7.0.0. to 7.0.107 with a configuration edge case that was highly unlikely to be used, the Tomcat instance was still vulnerable to CVE-2020-9494. Note that both the previously published prerequisites for CVE-2020-9484 and the previously published mitigations for CVE-2020-9484 also apply to this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2021-25122 | 3 Apache, Debian, Oracle | 12 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Product Lifecycle Management and 9 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| When responding to new h2c connection requests, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 could duplicate request headers and a limited amount of request body from one request to another meaning user A and user B could both see the results of user A's request. | |||||
| CVE-2020-13934 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 14 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 11 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An h2c direct connection to Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M5 to 9.0.36 and 8.5.1 to 8.5.56 did not release the HTTP/1.1 processor after the upgrade to HTTP/2. If a sufficient number of such requests were made, an OutOfMemoryException could occur leading to a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2021-45105 | 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 121 Log4j, Debian Linux, Cloud Manager and 118 more | 2026-08-25 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-alpha1 through 2.16.0 (excluding 2.12.3 and 2.3.1) did not protect from uncontrolled recursion from self-referential lookups. This allows an attacker with control over Thread Context Map data to cause a denial of service when a crafted string is interpreted. This issue was fixed in Log4j 2.17.0, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1. | |||||
| CVE-2021-2351 | 1 Oracle | 111 Advanced Networking Option, Agile Engineering Data Management, Agile Product Lifecycle Management and 108 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 8.3 HIGH |
| Vulnerability in the Advanced Networking Option component of Oracle Database Server. Supported versions that are affected are 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1 and 19c. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Advanced Networking Option. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Advanced Networking Option, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Advanced Networking Option. Note: The July 2021 Critical Patch Update introduces a number of Native Network Encryption changes to deal with vulnerability CVE-2021-2351 and prevent the use of weaker ciphers. Customers should review: "Changes in Native Network Encryption with the July 2021 Critical Patch Update" (Doc ID 2791571.1). CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.3 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H). | |||||
| CVE-2021-33037 | 4 Apache, Debian, Mcafee and 1 more | 22 Tomcat, Tomee, Debian Linux and 19 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.46 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.66 did not correctly parse the HTTP transfer-encoding request header in some circumstances leading to the possibility to request smuggling when used with a reverse proxy. Specifically: - Tomcat incorrectly ignored the transfer encoding header if the client declared it would only accept an HTTP/1.0 response; - Tomcat honoured the identify encoding; and - Tomcat did not ensure that, if present, the chunked encoding was the final encoding. | |||||
| CVE-2019-10219 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Redhat | 194 Active Iq Unified Manager, Element, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci and 191 more | 2026-08-25 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability was found in Hibernate-Validator. The SafeHtml validator annotation fails to properly sanitize payloads consisting of potentially malicious code in HTML comments and instructions. This vulnerability can result in an XSS attack. | |||||
| CVE-2017-12617 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 58 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 55 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
| When running Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0, 8.5.0 to 8.5.22, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.46 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.81 with HTTP PUTs enabled (e.g. via setting the readonly initialisation parameter of the Default servlet to false) it was possible to upload a JSP file to the server via a specially crafted request. This JSP could then be requested and any code it contained would be executed by the server. | |||||
| CVE-2019-17569 | 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 16 Tomcat, Tomee, Debian Linux and 13 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 4.8 MEDIUM |
| The refactoring present in Apache Tomcat 9.0.28 to 9.0.30, 8.5.48 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.98 to 7.0.99 introduced a regression. The result of the regression was that invalid Transfer-Encoding headers were incorrectly processed leading to a possibility of HTTP Request Smuggling if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that incorrectly handled the invalid Transfer-Encoding header in a particular manner. Such a reverse proxy is considered unlikely. | |||||
| CVE-2021-40438 | 11 Apache, Broadcom, Debian and 8 more | 40 Http Server, Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux and 37 more | 2026-08-06 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 9.0 CRITICAL |
| A crafted request uri-path can cause mod_proxy to forward the request to an origin server choosen by the remote user. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.48 and earlier. | |||||
| CVE-2021-44790 | 7 Apache, Apple, Debian and 4 more | 14 Http Server, Mac Os X, Macos and 11 more | 2026-06-17 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| A carefully crafted request body can cause a buffer overflow in the mod_lua multipart parser (r:parsebody() called from Lua scripts). The Apache httpd team is not aware of an exploit for the vulnerabilty though it might be possible to craft one. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.51 and earlier. | |||||
| CVE-2021-44224 | 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more | 12 Http Server, Mac Os X, Macos and 9 more | 2026-06-17 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 8.2 HIGH |
| A crafted URI sent to httpd configured as a forward proxy (ProxyRequests on) can cause a crash (NULL pointer dereference) or, for configurations mixing forward and reverse proxy declarations, can allow for requests to be directed to a declared Unix Domain Socket endpoint (Server Side Request Forgery). This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.7 up to 2.4.51 (included). | |||||
| CVE-2021-42013 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Http Server, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 3 more | 2026-06-17 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| It was found that the fix for CVE-2021-41773 in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.50 was insufficient. An attacker could use a path traversal attack to map URLs to files outside the directories configured by Alias-like directives. If files outside of these directories are not protected by the usual default configuration "require all denied", these requests can succeed. If CGI scripts are also enabled for these aliased pathes, this could allow for remote code execution. This issue only affects Apache 2.4.49 and Apache 2.4.50 and not earlier versions. | |||||
| CVE-2021-41773 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 4 Http Server, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 1 more | 2026-06-17 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| A flaw was found in a change made to path normalization in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.49. This issue is known to be exploited in the wild. This issue only affects Apache 2.4.49 and not earlier versions. The fix in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.50 was found to be incomplete, see CVE-2021-42013. | |||||
| CVE-2021-41524 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 4 Http Server, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 1 more | 2026-06-17 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| While fuzzing the 2.4.49 httpd, a new null pointer dereference was detected during HTTP/2 request processing, allowing an external source to DoS the server. This requires a specially crafted request. The vulnerability was recently introduced in version 2.4.49. No exploit is known to the project. | |||||
| CVE-2021-39275 | 6 Apache, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 11 Http Server, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more | 2026-06-17 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| ap_escape_quotes() may write beyond the end of a buffer when given malicious input. No included modules pass untrusted data to these functions, but third-party / external modules may. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.48 and earlier. | |||||
| CVE-2021-36160 | 6 Apache, Broadcom, Debian and 3 more | 13 Http Server, Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux and 10 more | 2026-06-17 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A carefully crafted request uri-path can cause mod_proxy_uwsgi to read above the allocated memory and crash (DoS). This issue affects Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.30 to 2.4.48 (inclusive). | |||||
