| CVE-2026-104047 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-31 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-104040 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-31 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population. | |||||
| CVE-2026-104029 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-31 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). | |||||
| CVE-2026-1933 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform, Samba | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s handling of NTFS-style reparse points on shares configured with read only = yes. Due to missing SMB-layer access checks, authenticated users with underlying filesystem write permissions may create or delete reparse point metadata through SMB operations even on read-only exports. This could allow modification of SMB-visible file behavior, including converting files into symbolic links or other reparse point types. | |||||
| CVE-2026-18477 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 3 Tar, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
| A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check Time-of-Use) vulnerability in GNU tar's incremental dumpdir 'X' rename handling allows a local attacker with write access to a directory being backed up to influence the restore process if the attacker has access to the system where the restore is being performed. During restoration, files or directories may be created, renamed or overwritten outside the intended extraction directory. This could lead to unauthorized file modification or, in some cases, privilege escalation. Exploitation does not require the attacker to modify or craft the archive, and standard backup and restore workflows—including extracting into a newly created directory without using the -P option do not mitigate the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-11861 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 9.6 CRITICAL |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. When a trust relationship is configured between FreeIPA and Active Directory, Active Directory users can bypass authentication for FreeIPA services, including the portal, SMB server, and LDAP directory. This is possible by impersonating a client name in the Ticket Granting Service (TGS) due to FreeIPA services not verifying Privilege Attribute Certificate (PAC) certificates. This vulnerability could allow an authenticated Active Directory user to escalate their privileges within the FreeIPA domain. | |||||
| CVE-2024-9676 | 1 Redhat | 15 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux For Arm 64 and 12 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability was found in Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O. A symlink traversal vulnerability in the containers/storage library can cause Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O to hang and result in a denial of service via OOM kill when running a malicious image using an automatically assigned user namespace (`--userns=auto` in Podman and Buildah). The containers/storage library will read /etc/passwd inside the container, but does not properly validate if that file is a symlink, which can be used to cause the library to read an arbitrary file on the host. | |||||
| CVE-2024-9341 | 2 Containers, Redhat | 3 Common, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in Go. When FIPS mode is enabled on a system, container runtimes may incorrectly handle certain file paths due to improper validation in the containers/common Go library. This flaw allows an attacker to exploit symbolic links and trick the system into mounting sensitive host directories inside a container. This issue also allows attackers to access critical host files, bypassing the intended isolation between containers and the host system. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4813 | 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 21 Fedora, Glibc, Active Iq Unified Manager and 18 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A flaw has been identified in glibc. In an uncommon situation, the gaih_inet function may use memory that has been freed, resulting in an application crash. This issue is only exploitable when the getaddrinfo function is called and the hosts database in /etc/nsswitch.conf is configured with SUCCESS=continue or SUCCESS=merge. | |||||
| CVE-2011-4346 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Satellite | 2026-10-30 | 3.5 LOW | 4.6 MEDIUM |
| Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web interface in Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the Description field of the asset tag in a Custom Info page. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73197 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending oversized form POST requests to the `/ipa/migration/migration.py` endpoint. This can force the migration handler to read attacker-controlled request bodies fully into memory, leading to increased memory usage, slower request handling, and potential service disruption or denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-19654 | 2 Redhat, Rsyslog | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rsyslog | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A unauthenticated remote peer may lead rsyslogd to crash due to a flaw in the optional imptcp module. A crafted input sequence during oversize-frame recovery can cause an invalid internal message length and terminate rsyslogd. No confidentiality or integrity impact, privilege escalation, or code execution has been identified. imtcp and the default imptcp framing modes are not affected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-19550 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. The trust-fetch-domains command is gated by a read-only permission on the trust object rather than a trust-administration permission, allowing an authenticated, non-privileged IPA user to trigger a privileged Active Directory trust refresh using an attacker-supplied server and credentials, resulting in unauthorized, attacker-controlled modification of trusted-domain and ID-range identity data in the IPA LDAP directory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13097 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 8.7 HIGH |
| A privilege escalation flaw was found in FreeIPA. The uniqueness constraint enforced on Kerberos principal name attributes in the 389-ds directory server does not properly account for equivalent representations of the same principal name, allowing a user with sufficient LDAP write privileges to create a service principal that impersonates an existing privileged one. This can lead to unauthorized acquisition of Kerberos service tickets for sensitive services, potentially resulting in full domain compromise. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42010 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 4 Gnutls, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. Servers configured with RSA-PSK (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman – Pre-Shared Key) wrongfully matched usernames containing a NUL character with truncated usernames. A remote attacker could exploit this by sending a specially crafted username, leading to an authentication bypass. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access by circumventing the authentication process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42009 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 14 Gnutls, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Els and 11 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit an issue in the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) packet reordering logic. The comparator function, responsible for ordering DTLS packets by sequence numbers, did not correctly handle packets with duplicate sequence numbers. This could lead to unstable packet ordering or undefined behavior, resulting in a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2024-9675 | 2 Buildah Project, Redhat | 14 Buildah, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 11 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was found in Buildah. Cache mounts do not properly validate that user-specified paths for the cache are within our cache directory, allowing a `RUN` instruction in a Container file to mount an arbitrary directory from the host (read/write) into the container as long as those files can be accessed by the user running Buildah. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13595 | 2 Kernel, Redhat | 4 Util-linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the libblkid library of util-linux. During nested partition probing, the BSD, Minix, Solaris x86, and UnixWare partition probers cache a raw pointer to a parent partition entry in a dynamically allocated array. When subsequent partition additions cause the array to be reallocated, this pointer becomes stale, leading to a heap use-after-free read. An attacker who can present a crafted block device image (for example, via USB insertion or a loop-mounted disk image) can trigger this flaw without user interaction, as libblkid is invoked automatically by udev/udisks as root on block-device hot-plug events. This could lead to limited information disclosure or denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53009 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix double-free of tx_buf skb If ice_tso() or ice_tx_csum() fail, the error path in ice_xmit_frame_ring() frees the skb, but the 'first' tx_buf still points to it and is marked as valid (ICE_TX_BUF_SKB). 'next_to_use' remains unchanged, so the potential problem will likely fix itself when the next packet is transmitted and the tx_buf gets overwritten. But if there is no next packet and the interface is brought down instead, ice_clean_tx_ring() -> ice_unmap_and_free_tx_buf() will find the tx_buf and free the skb for the second time. The fix is to reset the tx_buf type to ICE_TX_BUF_EMPTY in the error path, so that ice_unmap_and_free_tx_buf(). Move the initialization of 'first' up, to ensure it's already valid in case we hit the linearization error path. The bug was spotted by AI while I had it looking for something else. It also proposed an initial version of the patch. I reproduced the bug and tested the fix by adding code to inject failures, on a build with KASAN. I looked for similar bugs in related Intel drivers and did not find any. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53000 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nat: use kfree_rcu to release ops Florian Westphal says: "Historically this is not an issue, even for normal base hooks: the data path doesn't use the original nf_hook_ops that are used to register the callbacks. However, in v5.14 I added the ability to dump the active netfilter hooks from userspace. This code will peek back into the nf_hook_ops that are available at the tail of the pointer-array blob used by the datapath. The nat hooks are special, because they are called indirectly from the central nat dispatcher hook. They are currently invisible to the nfnl hook dump subsystem though. But once that changes the nat ops structures have to be deferred too." Update nf_nat_register_fn() to deal with partial exposition of the hooks from error path which can be also an issue for nfnetlink_hook. | |||||
