| CVE-2020-17521 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle | 21 Atlas, Groovy, Snapcenter and 18 more | 2026-08-25 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| Apache Groovy provides extension methods to aid with creating temporary directories. Prior to this fix, Groovy's implementation of those extension methods was using a now superseded Java JDK method call that is potentially not secure on some operating systems in some contexts. Users not using the extension methods mentioned in the advisory are not affected, but may wish to read the advisory for further details. Versions Affected: 2.0 to 2.4.20, 2.5.0 to 2.5.13, 3.0.0 to 3.0.6, and 4.0.0-alpha-1. Fixed in versions 2.4.21, 2.5.14, 3.0.7, 4.0.0-alpha-2. | |||||

| FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.5 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.lib.sql.JNDIConnectionPool (aka xalan2). | |||||
| CVE-2020-9484 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 26 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 23 more | 2026-08-25 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
| When using Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M4, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.34, 8.5.0 to 8.5.54 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.103 if a) an attacker is able to control the contents and name of a file on the server; and b) the server is configured to use the PersistenceManager with a FileStore; and c) the PersistenceManager is configured with sessionAttributeValueClassNameFilter="null" (the default unless a SecurityManager is used) or a sufficiently lax filter to allow the attacker provided object to be deserialized; and d) the attacker knows the relative file path from the storage location used by FileStore to the file the attacker has control over; then, using a specifically crafted request, the attacker will be able to trigger remote code execution via deserialization of the file under their control. Note that all of conditions a) to d) must be true for the attack to succeed. | |||||
| CVE-2020-24616 | 4 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 1 more | 25 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Active Iq Unified Manager and 22 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |

| dom4j before 2.0.3 and 2.1.x before 2.1.3 allows external DTDs and External Entities by default, which might enable XXE attacks. However, there is popular external documentation from OWASP showing how to enable the safe, non-default behavior in any application that uses dom4j. | |||||

| Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-alpha1 through 2.16.0 (excluding 2.12.3 and 2.3.1) did not protect from uncontrolled recursion from self-referential lookups. This allows an attacker with control over Thread Context Map data to cause a denial of service when a crafted string is interpreted. This issue was fixed in Log4j 2.17.0, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1. | |||||
| CVE-2020-14060 | 3 Fasterxml, Netapp, Oracle | 12 Jackson-databind, Active Iq Unified Manager, Steelstore Cloud Integrated Storage and 9 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |

| Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.46 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.66 did not correctly parse the HTTP transfer-encoding request header in some circumstances leading to the possibility to request smuggling when used with a reverse proxy. Specifically: - Tomcat incorrectly ignored the transfer encoding header if the client declared it would only accept an HTTP/1.0 response; - Tomcat honoured the identify encoding; and - Tomcat did not ensure that, if present, the chunked encoding was the final encoding. | |||||
| CVE-2020-14061 | 4 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 1 more | 15 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Active Iq Unified Manager and 12 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |

| Spring Framework (versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.7, versions 4.3.x prior to 4.3.18, and older unsupported versions) allow web applications to change the HTTP request method to any HTTP method (including TRACE) using the HiddenHttpMethodFilter in Spring MVC. If an application has a pre-existing XSS vulnerability, a malicious user (or attacker) can use this filter to escalate to an XST (Cross Site Tracing) attack. | |||||
| CVE-2020-11113 | 4 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 1 more | 32 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Steelstore Cloud Integrated Storage and 29 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
