| An off-by-one Error issue was discovered in Systemd in format_timespan() function of time-util.c. An attacker could supply specific values for time and accuracy that leads to buffer overrun in format_timespan(), leading to a Denial of Service. | |||||
| CVE-2022-3169 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A denial of service flaw may occur if there is a consecutive request of the NVME_IOCTL_RESET and the NVME_IOCTL_SUBSYS_RESET through the device file of the driver, resulting in a PCIe link disconnect. | |||||
| CVE-2022-3028 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem) when multiple calls to xfrm_probe_algs occurred simultaneously. This flaw could allow a local attacker to potentially trigger an out-of-bounds write or leak kernel heap memory by performing an out-of-bounds read and copying it into a socket. | |||||
| CVE-2022-2509 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Gnutls and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |

| CVE-2022-2153 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s KVM when attempting to set a SynIC IRQ. This issue makes it possible for a misbehaving VMM to write to SYNIC/STIMER MSRs, causing a NULL pointer dereference. This flaw allows an unprivileged local attacker on the host to issue specific ioctl calls, causing a kernel oops condition that results in a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2022-2097 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 15 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| AES OCB mode for 32-bit x86 platforms using the AES-NI assembly optimised implementation will not encrypt the entirety of the data under some circumstances. This could reveal sixteen bytes of data that was preexisting in the memory that wasn't written. In the special case of "in place" encryption, sixteen bytes of the plaintext would be revealed. Since OpenSSL does not support OCB based cipher suites for TLS and DTLS, they are both unaffected. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.5 (Affected 3.0.0-3.0.4). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1q (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1p). | |||||
| CVE-2022-1304 | 3 E2fsprogs Project, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 E2fsprogs, Fedora, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds read/write vulnerability was found in e2fsprogs 1.46.5. This issue leads to a segmentation fault and possibly arbitrary code execution via a specially crafted filesystem. | |||||
| CVE-2022-1015 | 2 Fedoraproject, Linux | 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-14 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 6.6 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel in linux/net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c of the netfilter subsystem. This flaw allows a local user to cause an out-of-bounds write issue. | |||||
| CVE-2022-0778 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Mariadb and 4 more | 15 Debian Linux, Fedora, Mariadb and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| The BN_mod_sqrt() function, which computes a modular square root, contains a bug that can cause it to loop forever for non-prime moduli. Internally this function is used when parsing certificates that contain elliptic curve public keys in compressed form or explicit elliptic curve parameters with a base point encoded in compressed form. It is possible to trigger the infinite loop by crafting a certificate that has invalid explicit curve parameters. Since certificate parsing happens prior to verification of the certificate signature, any process that parses an externally supplied certificate may thus be subject to a denial of service attack. The infinite loop can also be reached when parsing crafted private keys as they can contain explicit elliptic curve parameters. Thus vulnerable situations include: - TLS clients consuming server certificates - TLS servers consuming client certificates - Hosting providers taking certificates or private keys from customers - Certificate authorities parsing certification requests from subscribers - Anything else which parses ASN.1 elliptic curve parameters Also any other applications that use the BN_mod_sqrt() where the attacker can control the parameter values are vulnerable to this DoS issue. In the OpenSSL 1.0.2 version the public key is not parsed during initial parsing of the certificate which makes it slightly harder to trigger the infinite loop. However any operation which requires the public key from the certificate will trigger the infinite loop. In particular the attacker can use a self-signed certificate to trigger the loop during verification of the certificate signature. This issue affects OpenSSL versions 1.0.2, 1.1.1 and 3.0. It was addressed in the releases of 1.1.1n and 3.0.2 on the 15th March 2022. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.2 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1n (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1m). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zd (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2zc). | |||||
| CVE-2022-0391 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 10 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Hci and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Python, specifically within the urllib.parse module. This module helps break Uniform Resource Locator (URL) strings into components. The issue involves how the urlparse method does not sanitize input and allows characters like '\r' and '\n' in the URL path. This flaw allows an attacker to input a crafted URL, leading to injection attacks. This flaw affects Python versions prior to 3.10.0b1, 3.9.5, 3.8.11, 3.7.11 and 3.6.14. | |||||
| CVE-2021-46848 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libtasn1 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL |

| CVE-2021-41617 | 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Openbsd and 2 more | 14 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Aff 500f and 11 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
| sshd in OpenSSH 6.2 through 8.x before 8.8, when certain non-default configurations are used, allows privilege escalation because supplemental groups are not initialized as expected. Helper programs for AuthorizedKeysCommand and AuthorizedPrincipalsCommand may run with privileges associated with group memberships of the sshd process, if the configuration specifies running the command as a different user. | |||||
