| CVE-2023-27534 | 5 Broadcom, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 13 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Fedora, Curl and 10 more | 2026-10-23 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in curl <8.0.0 SFTP implementation causes the tilde (~) character to be wrongly replaced when used as a prefix in the first path element, in addition to its intended use as the first element to indicate a path relative to the user's home directory. Attackers can exploit this flaw to bypass filtering or execute arbitrary code by crafting a path like /~2/foo while accessing a server with a specific user. | |||||
| CVE-2023-28322 | 4 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 1 more | 13 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 10 more | 2026-10-23 | N/A | 3.7 LOW |
| An information disclosure vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 when doing HTTP(S) transfers, libcurl might erroneously use the read callback (`CURLOPT_READFUNCTION`) to ask for data to send, even when the `CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS` option has been set, if the same handle previously wasused to issue a `PUT` request which used that callback. This flaw may surprise the application and cause it to misbehave and either send off the wrong data or use memory after free or similar in the second transfer. The problem exists in the logic for a reused handle when it is (expected to be) changed from a PUT to a POST. | |||||
| CVE-2026-88252 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in sssd. A local user can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting the responder service's available file descriptors (system handles used for open connections). By opening and maintaining many concurrent connections to a responder socket while continuing to queue new connection attempts, an attacker can trigger an unthrottled retry loop. This condition leads to high CPU utilization and stalls the service, preventing legitimate identity and authentication requests from being processed. | |||||
| CVE-2024-0607 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 6.6 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The issue is in the nft_byteorder_eval() function, where the code iterates through a loop and writes to the `dst` array. On each iteration, 8 bytes are written, but `dst` is an array of u32, so each element only has space for 4 bytes. That means every iteration overwrites part of the previous element corrupting this array of u32. This flaw allows a local user to cause a denial of service or potentially break NetFilter functionality. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20406 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Python | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Python | 2026-10-15 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| Modules/_pickle.c in Python before 3.7.1 has an integer overflow via a large LONG_BINPUT value that is mishandled during a "resize to twice the size" attempt. This issue might cause memory exhaustion, but is only relevant if the pickle format is used for serializing tens or hundreds of gigabytes of data. This issue is fixed in: v3.4.10, v3.4.10rc1; v3.5.10, v3.5.10rc1, v3.5.7, v3.5.7rc1, v3.5.8, v3.5.8rc1, v3.5.8rc2, v3.5.9; v3.6.10, v3.6.10rc1, v3.6.11, v3.6.11rc1, v3.6.12, v3.6.7, v3.6.7rc1, v3.6.7rc2, v3.6.8, v3.6.8rc1, v3.6.9, v3.6.9rc1; v3.7.1, v3.7.1rc1, v3.7.1rc2, v3.7.2, v3.7.2rc1, v3.7.3, v3.7.3rc1, v3.7.4, v3.7.4rc1, v3.7.4rc2, v3.7.5, v3.7.5rc1, v3.7.6, v3.7.6rc1, v3.7.7, v3.7.7rc1, v3.7.8, v3.7.8rc1, v3.7.9. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1061 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2026-10-15 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| python before versions 2.7.15, 3.4.9, 3.5.6rc1, 3.6.5rc1 and 3.7.0 is vulnerable to catastrophic backtracking in the difflib.IS_LINE_JUNK method. An attacker could use this flaw to cause denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2018-12023 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 11 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Fedora and 8 more | 2026-10-15 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind prior to 2.7.9.4, 2.8.11.2, and 2.9.6. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property), the service has the Oracle JDBC jar in the classpath, and an attacker can provide an LDAP service to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload. | |||||
| CVE-2024-2398 | 4 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 1 more | 22 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 19 more | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| When an application tells libcurl it wants to allow HTTP/2 server push, and the amount of received headers for the push surpasses the maximum allowed limit (1000), libcurl aborts the server push. When aborting, libcurl inadvertently does not free all the previously allocated headers and instead leaks the memory. Further, this error condition fails silently and is therefore not easily detected by an application. | |||||
| CVE-2024-2004 | 4 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 1 more | 15 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 12 more | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 3.5 LOW |
| When a protocol selection parameter option disables all protocols without adding any then the default set of protocols would remain in the allowed set due to an error in the logic for removing protocols. The below command would perform a request to curl.se with a plaintext protocol which has been explicitly disabled. curl --proto -all,-http http://curl.se The flaw is only present if the set of selected protocols disables the entire set of available protocols, in itself a command with no practical use and therefore unlikely to be encountered in real situations. The curl security team has thus assessed this to be low severity bug. | |||||
| CVE-2024-28757 | 3 Fedoraproject, Libexpat Project, Netapp | 21 Fedora, Libexpat, Active Iq Unified Manager and 18 more | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| libexpat through 2.6.1 allows an XML Entity Expansion attack when there is isolated use of external parsers (created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate). | |||||
| CVE-2024-28182 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Nghttp2 | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Nghttp2 | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| nghttp2 is an implementation of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol version 2 in C. The nghttp2 library prior to version 1.61.0 keeps reading the unbounded number of HTTP/2 CONTINUATION frames even after a stream is reset to keep HPACK context in sync. This causes excessive CPU usage to decode HPACK stream. nghttp2 v1.61.0 mitigates this vulnerability by limiting the number of CONTINUATION frames it accepts per stream. There is no workaround for this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2024-27013 | 2 Fedoraproject, Linux | 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: limit printing rate when illegal packet received by tun dev vhost_worker will call tun call backs to receive packets. If too many illegal packets arrives, tun_do_read will keep dumping packet contents. When console is enabled, it will costs much more cpu time to dump packet and soft lockup will be detected. net_ratelimit mechanism can be used to limit the dumping rate. This thread holds the clk prepare_lock, and is trying to runtime PM resume a device, when it finds that the device is in the process of resuming so the thread schedule()s away waiting for the device to finish resuming before continuing. The second thread is runtime PM resuming the same device, but the runtime resume callback is calling clk_prepare(), trying to grab the prepare_lock waiting on the first thread. This is a classic ABBA deadlock. To properly fix the deadlock, we must never runtime PM resume or suspend a device with the clk prepare_lock held. Actually doing that is near impossible today because the global prepare_lock would have to be dropped in the middle of the tree, the device runtime PM resumed/suspended, and then the prepare_lock grabbed again to ensure consistency of the clk tree topology. If anything changes with the clk tree in the meantime, we've lost and will need to start the operation all over again. Luckily, most of the time we're simply incrementing or decrementing the runtime PM count on an active device, so we don't have the chance to schedule away with the prepare_lock held. Let's fix this immediate problem that can be ---truncated--- | |||||
| CVE-2024-26988 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: init/main.c: Fix potential static_command_line memory overflow We allocate memory of size 'xlen + strlen(boot_command_line) + 1' for static_command_line, but the strings copied into static_command_line are extra_command_line and command_line, rather than extra_command_line and boot_command_line. When strlen(command_line) > strlen(boot_command_line), static_command_line will overflow. This patch just recovers strlen(command_line) which was miss-consolidated with strlen(boot_command_line) in the commit f5c7310ac73e ("init/main: add checks for the return value of memblock_alloc*()") | |||||
| CVE-2024-0567 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Gnutls and 1 more | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was found in GnuTLS, where a cockpit (which uses gnuTLS) rejects a certificate chain with distributed trust. This issue occurs when validating a certificate chain with cockpit-certificate-ensure. This flaw allows an unauthenticated, remote client or attacker to initiate a denial of service attack. | |||||
| CVE-2024-0553 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Gnutls, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was found in GnuTLS. The response times to malformed ciphertexts in RSA-PSK ClientKeyExchange differ from the response times of ciphertexts with correct PKCS#1 v1.5 padding. This issue may allow a remote attacker to perform a timing side-channel attack in the RSA-PSK key exchange, potentially leading to the leakage of sensitive data. CVE-2024-0553 is designated as an incomplete resolution for CVE-2023-5981. | |||||
| CVE-2024-0232 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sqlite | 4 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| A heap use-after-free issue has been identified in SQLite in the jsonParseAddNodeArray() function in sqlite3.c. This flaw allows a local attacker to leverage a victim to pass specially crafted malicious input to the application, potentially causing a crash and leading to a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2023-51767 | 3 Fedoraproject, Openbsd, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Openssh, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| OpenSSH through 10.0, when common types of DRAM are used, might allow row hammer attacks (for authentication bypass) because the integer value of authenticated in mm_answer_authpassword does not resist flips of a single bit. NOTE: this is applicable to a certain threat model of attacker-victim co-location in which the attacker has user privileges. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier, who states "we do not consider it to be the application's responsibility to defend against platform architectural weaknesses." | |||||
| CVE-2023-48795 | 42 9bis, Apache, Apple and 39 more | 68 Kitty, Sshd, Sshj and 65 more | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| The SSH transport protocol with certain OpenSSH extensions, found in OpenSSH before 9.6 and other products, allows remote attackers to bypass integrity checks such that some packets are omitted (from the extension negotiation message), and a client and server may consequently end up with a connection for which some security features have been downgraded or disabled, aka a Terrapin attack. This occurs because the SSH Binary Packet Protocol (BPP), implemented by these extensions, mishandles the handshake phase and mishandles use of sequence numbers. For example, there is an effective attack against SSH's use of ChaCha20-Poly1305 (and CBC with Encrypt-then-MAC). The bypass occurs in chacha20-poly1305@openssh.com and (if CBC is used) the -etm@openssh.com MAC algorithms. This also affects Maverick Synergy Java SSH API before 3.1.0-SNAPSHOT, Dropbear through 2022.83, Ssh before 5.1.1 in Erlang/OTP, PuTTY before 0.80, AsyncSSH before 2.14.2, golang.org/x/crypto before 0.17.0, libssh before 0.10.6, libssh2 through 1.11.0, Thorn Tech SFTP Gateway before 3.4.6, Tera Term before 5.1, Paramiko before 3.4.0, jsch before 0.2.15, SFTPGo before 2.5.6, Netgate pfSense Plus through 23.09.1, Netgate pfSense CE through 2.7.2, HPN-SSH through 18.2.0, ProFTPD before 1.3.8b (and before 1.3.9rc2), ORYX CycloneSSH before 2.3.4, NetSarang XShell 7 before Build 0144, CrushFTP before 10.6.0, ConnectBot SSH library before 2.2.22, Apache MINA sshd through 2.11.0, sshj through 0.37.0, TinySSH through 20230101, trilead-ssh2 6401, LANCOM LCOS and LANconfig, FileZilla before 3.66.4, Nova before 11.8, PKIX-SSH before 14.4, SecureCRT before 9.4.3, Transmit5 before 5.10.4, Win32-OpenSSH before 9.5.0.0p1-Beta, WinSCP before 6.2.2, Bitvise SSH Server before 9.32, Bitvise SSH Client before 9.33, KiTTY through 0.76.1.13, the net-ssh gem 7.2.0 for Ruby, the mscdex ssh2 module before 1.15.0 for Node.js, the thrussh library before 0.35.1 for Rust, and the Russh crate before 0.40.2 for Rust. | |||||
| CVE-2023-42754 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel ipv4 stack. The socket buffer (skb) was assumed to be associated with a device before calling __ip_options_compile, which is not always the case if the skb is re-routed by ipvs. This issue may allow a local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to crash the system. | |||||
