CVE-2023-4194 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TUN/TAP functionality. This issue could allow a local user to bypass network filters and gain unauthorized access to some resources. The original patches fixing CVE-2023-1076 are incorrect or incomplete. The problem is that the following upstream commits - a096ccca6e50 ("tun: tun_chr_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), - 66b2c338adce ("tap: tap_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), pass "inode->i_uid" to sock_init_data_uid() as the last parameter and that turns out to not be accurate.
CVE-2023-4156 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat 3 Fedora, Gawk, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-17 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
A heap out-of-bounds read flaw was found in builtin.c in the gawk package. This issue may lead to a crash and could be used to read sensitive information.
CVE-2023-4155 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in KVM AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV) in the Linux kernel. A KVM guest using SEV-ES or SEV-SNP with multiple vCPUs can trigger a double fetch race condition vulnerability and invoke the `VMGEXIT` handler recursively. If an attacker manages to call the handler multiple times, they can trigger a stack overflow and cause a denial of service or potentially guest-to-host escape in kernel configurations without stack guard pages (`CONFIG_VMAP_STACK`).
CVE-2023-4147 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s Netfilter functionality when adding a rule with NFTA_RULE_CHAIN_ID. This flaw allows a local user to crash or escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2023-4133 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the cxgb4 driver in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs when the cxgb4 device is detaching due to a possible rearming of the flower_stats_timer from the work queue. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition.
CVE-2023-4132 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the siano smsusb module in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs during device initialization when the siano device is plugged in. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition.
CVE-2023-4091 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Samba 5 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more 2026-06-17 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was discovered in Samba, where the flaw allows SMB clients to truncate files, even with read-only permissions when the Samba VFS module "acl_xattr" is configured with "acl_xattr:ignore system acls = yes". The SMB protocol allows opening files when the client requests read-only access but then implicitly truncates the opened file to 0 bytes if the client specifies a separate OVERWRITE create disposition request. The issue arises in configurations that bypass kernel file system permissions checks, relying solely on Samba's permissions.
CVE-2023-4066 1 Redhat 4 Enterprise Linux, Jboss A-mq, Jboss Middleware and 1 more 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in Red Hat's AMQ Broker, which stores certain passwords in a secret security-properties-prop-module, defined in ActivemqArtemisSecurity CR; however, they are shown in plaintext in the StatefulSet details yaml of AMQ Broker.
CVE-2023-4065 1 Redhat 4 Enterprise Linux, Jboss A-mq, Jboss Middleware and 1 more 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in Red Hat AMQ Broker Operator, where it displayed a password defined in ActiveMQArtemisAddress CR, shown in plain text in the Operator Log. This flaw allows an authenticated local attacker to access information outside of their permissions.
CVE-2023-4042 2 Artifex, Redhat 9 Ghostscript, Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64 and 6 more 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in ghostscript. The fix for CVE-2020-16305 in ghostscript was not included in RHSA-2021:1852-06 advisory as it was claimed to be. This issue only affects the ghostscript package as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.
CVE-2023-4001 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat 3 Fedora, Grub2, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-17 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
An authentication bypass flaw was found in GRUB due to the way that GRUB uses the UUID of a device to search for the configuration file that contains the password hash for the GRUB password protection feature. An attacker capable of attaching an external drive such as a USB stick containing a file system with a duplicate UUID (the same as in the "/boot/" file system) can bypass the GRUB password protection feature on UEFI systems, which enumerate removable drives before non-removable ones. This issue was introduced in a downstream patch in Red Hat's version of grub2 and does not affect the upstream package.
CVE-2023-47038 3 Fedoraproject, Perl, Redhat 5 Fedora, Perl, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-06-17 N/A 7.0 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in perl 5.30.0 through 5.38.0. This issue occurs when a crafted regular expression is compiled by perl, which can allow an attacker controlled byte buffer overflow in a heap allocated buffer.
CVE-2023-46848 2 Redhat, Squid-cache 5 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux Server Aus and 2 more 2026-06-17 N/A 8.6 HIGH
Squid is vulnerable to Denial of Service, where a remote attacker can perform DoS by sending ftp:// URLs in HTTP Request messages or constructing ftp:// URLs from FTP Native input.
CVE-2023-46846 2 Redhat, Squid-cache 8 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux For Arm 64 and 5 more 2026-06-17 N/A 9.3 CRITICAL
SQUID is vulnerable to HTTP request smuggling, caused by chunked decoder lenience, allows a remote attacker to perform Request/Response smuggling past firewall and frontend security systems.
CVE-2023-44488 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
VP9 in libvpx before 1.13.1 mishandles widths, leading to a crash related to encoding.
