CVE-2020-8619 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2026-09-01 4.0 MEDIUM 4.9 MEDIUM
In ISC BIND9 versions BIND 9.11.14 -> 9.11.19, BIND 9.14.9 -> 9.14.12, BIND 9.16.0 -> 9.16.3, BIND Supported Preview Edition 9.11.14-S1 -> 9.11.19-S1: Unless a nameserver is providing authoritative service for one or more zones and at least one zone contains an empty non-terminal entry containing an asterisk ("*") character, this defect cannot be encountered. A would-be attacker who is allowed to change zone content could theoretically introduce such a record in order to exploit this condition to cause denial of service, though we consider the use of this vector unlikely because any such attack would require a significant privilege level and be easily traceable.
CVE-2022-2795 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind 2026-09-01 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
By flooding the target resolver with queries exploiting this flaw an attacker can significantly impair the resolver's performance, effectively denying legitimate clients access to the DNS resolution service.
CVE-2022-38177 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 1 more 2026-09-01 N/A 7.5 HIGH
By spoofing the target resolver with responses that have a malformed ECDSA signature, an attacker can trigger a small memory leak. It is possible to gradually erode available memory to the point where named crashes for lack of resources.
CVE-2022-38178 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 1 more 2026-09-01 N/A 7.5 HIGH
By spoofing the target resolver with responses that have a malformed EdDSA signature, an attacker can trigger a small memory leak. It is possible to gradually erode available memory to the point where named crashes for lack of resources.

CVE-2021-3739 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp 18 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 15 more 2026-09-01 3.6 LOW 7.1 HIGH
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the btrfs_rm_device function in fs/btrfs/volumes.c in the Linux Kernel, where triggering the bug requires ‘CAP_SYS_ADMIN’. This flaw allows a local attacker to crash the system or leak kernel internal information. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2026-68744 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform 2026-08-31 N/A 3.3 LOW
A flaw was found in SSSD. The sss_nss_protocol_fill_initgr() function in the NSS responder pre-allocates reply space for all group entries but does not shrink the packet when groups are skipped, causing uninitialized heap bytes to be transmitted to the client. A local attacker can exploit this to disclose cached directory data and heap layout information from the sssd_nss process.
CVE-2026-68743 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform 2026-08-31 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in SSSD. The extract_authtok_v1() function in the PAM responder does not validate the auth_token_length field against the remaining buffer size before processing. A local attacker can exploit this via a crafted protocol v1 request to the PAM responder socket, causing an out-of-bounds read and process crash, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-68742 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 3 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform 2026-08-31 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in SSSD. The sss_nss_protocol_parse_addr() function in the NSS responder does not validate the addrlen field against the remaining packet body size. A local attacker can exploit this via a crafted GETHOSTBYADDR request to the NSS responder socket, causing an out-of-bounds read and process crash, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2023-36664 3 Artifex, Debian, Fedoraproject 3 Ghostscript, Debian Linux, Fedora 2026-08-28 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Artifex Ghostscript before 10.01.2 mishandles permission validation for pipe devices (with the %pipe% prefix or the | pipe character prefix).
CVE-2022-0995 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp 24 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 21 more 2026-08-27 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
An out-of-bounds (OOB) memory write flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s watch_queue event notification subsystem. This flaw can overwrite parts of the kernel state, potentially allowing a local user to gain privileged access or cause a denial of service on the system.
CVE-2011-4088 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 5 Fedora, Automatic Bug Reporting Tool, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 2 more 2026-08-26 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
ABRT might allow attackers to obtain sensitive information from crash reports.
CVE-2022-1011 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 3 more 38 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 35 more 2026-08-26 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s FUSE filesystem in the way a user triggers write(). This flaw allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to data from the FUSE filesystem, resulting in privilege escalation.
CVE-2021-41183 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more 36 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 33 more 2026-08-25 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of various `*Text` options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various `*Text` options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `*Text` options from untrusted sources.
CVE-2020-1938 7 Apache, Blackberry, Debian and 4 more 21 Geode, Tomcat, Good Control and 18 more 2026-08-25 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
When using the Apache JServ Protocol (AJP), care must be taken when trusting incoming connections to Apache Tomcat. Tomcat treats AJP connections as having higher trust than, for example, a similar HTTP connection. If such connections are available to an attacker, they can be exploited in ways that may be surprising. In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99, Tomcat shipped with an AJP Connector enabled by default that listened on all configured IP addresses. It was expected (and recommended in the security guide) that this Connector would be disabled if not required. This vulnerability report identified a mechanism that allowed: - returning arbitrary files from anywhere in the web application - processing any file in the web application as a JSP Further, if the web application allowed file upload and stored those files within the web application (or the attacker was able to control the content of the web application by some other means) then this, along with the ability to process a file as a JSP, made remote code execution possible. It is important to note that mitigation is only required if an AJP port is accessible to untrusted users. Users wishing to take a defence-in-depth approach and block the vector that permits returning arbitrary files and execution as JSP may upgrade to Apache Tomcat 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later. A number of changes were made to the default AJP Connector configuration in 9.0.31 to harden the default configuration. It is likely that users upgrading to 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later will need to make small changes to their configurations.
CVE-2020-9281 4 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 1 more 11 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedora and 8 more 2026-08-25 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the HTML Data Processor for CKEditor 4.0 before 4.14 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script through a crafted "protected" comment (with the cke_protected syntax).
CVE-2021-41164 4 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 1 more 10 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedora and 7 more 2026-08-25 3.5 LOW 8.2 HIGH
CKEditor4 is an open source WYSIWYG HTML editor. In affected versions a vulnerability has been discovered in the Advanced Content Filter (ACF) module and may affect all plugins used by CKEditor 4. The vulnerability allowed to inject malformed HTML bypassing content sanitization, which could result in executing JavaScript code. It affects all users using the CKEditor 4 at version < 4.17.0. The problem has been recognized and patched. The fix will be available in version 4.17.0.
CVE-2021-41182 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more 37 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 34 more 2026-08-25 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `altField` option of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `altField` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `altField` option from untrusted sources.
CVE-2019-11046 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2026-08-17 5.0 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.26, 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0, PHP bcmath extension functions on some systems, including Windows, can be tricked into reading beyond the allocated space by supplying it with string containing characters that are identified as numeric by the OS but aren't ASCII numbers. This can read to disclosure of the content of some memory locations.
