| CVE-2026-54231 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Automatic Bug Reporting Tool, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-21 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A content injection vulnerability was found in the ABRT post-create event handler scripts in libreport. The event script queries the systemd journal for log entries matching the crashed process and writes the results to files in the dump directory without sanitizing embedded control characters. A local user can inject arbitrary content into the journal output by embedding newline characters in syslog messages, controlling the content that root writes to dump directory files. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54230 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Automatic Bug Reporting Tool, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-21 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| A symlink following vulnerability was found in the ABRT post-create event handler scripts in libreport. Event scripts write output files using shell redirections without the O_NOFOLLOW flag. If the target file is replaced with a symlink, the shell process running as root follows the symlink and writes content to the symlink target, allowing arbitrary file overwrites on the system. | |||||
| CVE-2023-6710 | 2 Modcluster, Redhat | 2 Mod Proxy Cluster, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-19 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the mod_proxy_cluster in the Apache server. This issue may allow a malicious user to add a script in the 'alias' parameter in the URL to trigger the stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. By adding a script on the alias parameter on the URL, it adds a new virtual host and adds the script to the cluster-manager page. | |||||
| CVE-2023-1380 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 11 more | 2026-09-18 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| A slab-out-of-bound read problem was found in brcmf_get_assoc_ies in drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmfmac/cfg80211.c in the Linux Kernel. This issue could occur when assoc_info->req_len data is bigger than the size of the buffer, defined as WL_EXTRA_BUF_MAX, leading to a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42055 | 2 F5, Redhat | 11 Dos, Nginx Gateway Fabric, Nginx Ingress Controller and 8 more | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_proxy_v2_module and ngx_http_grpc_module modules. This vulnerability exists when the proxy_http_version to 2 or grpc_pass directives are used to proxy HTTP/2 traffic, the ignore_invalid_headers directive is set to off, and the large_client_header_buffers directive size is larger than 2 megabytes. A remote, unauthenticated attacker, along with conditions beyond their control, could send large headers while creating an upstream request. This may cause a heap-based buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | |||||
| CVE-2022-1199 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 13 Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager, H300s and 10 more | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows an attacker to crash the Linux kernel by simulating amateur radio from the user space, resulting in a null-ptr-deref vulnerability and a use-after-free vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2026-4897 | 2 Freedesktop, Redhat | 3 Polkit, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in polkit. A local user can exploit this by providing a specially crafted, excessively long input to the `polkit-agent-helper-1` setuid binary via standard input (stdin). This unbounded input can lead to an out-of-memory (OOM) condition, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the system. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46625 | 2 Js-cookie, Redhat | 6 Javascript Cookie, 3scale Api Management, Ansible Automation Platform and 3 more | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| JavaScript Cookie is a JavaScript API for handling cookies, client-side. Prior to version 3.0.7, js-cookie's internal assign() helper copies properties with for...in + plain assignment. When the source object is produced by JSON.parse, the JSON object's "__proto__" member is an own enumerable property, so the for…in enumerates it and the target[key] = source[key] write triggers the Object.prototype.__proto__ setter on the fresh target ({}). The result is a per-instance prototype hijack: Object.prototype itself is untouched, but the merged attributes object now inherits attacker-controlled keys. Because the consuming set() function then enumerates the merged object with another for...in, every key the attacker placed on the polluted prototype lands in the resulting Set-Cookie string as an attribute pair. The attacker can set domain=, secure=, samesite=, expires=, and path= on cookies whose attributes the developer thought were locked down. This issue has been patched in version 3.0.7. | |||||
| CVE-2025-5318 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-09-08 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the libssh library in versions less than 0.11.2. An out-of-bounds read can be triggered in the sftp_handle function due to an incorrect comparison check that permits the function to access memory beyond the valid handle list and to return an invalid pointer, which is used in further processing. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker to potentially read unintended memory regions, exposing sensitive information or affect service behavior. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31431 | 10 Amazon, Arista, Canonical and 7 more | 60 Amazon Linux, Cloudvision Agni, Cloudvision Portal and 57 more | 2026-09-08 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: algif_aead - Revert to operating out-of-place This mostly reverts commit 72548b093ee3 except for the copying of the associated data. There is no benefit in operating in-place in algif_aead since the source and destination come from different mappings. Get rid of all the complexity added for in-place operation and just copy the AD directly. | |||||
| CVE-2026-59847 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in libssh. Incorrect AES-GCM finalization checks in builds using the OpenSSL backend can effectively remove integrity protection, allowing an in-path attacker to modify plaintext on the wire without detection. | |||||
| CVE-2026-6694 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in GIMP's file-png plugin. A remote attacker can exploit this by crafting a malicious Animated Portable Network Graphics (APNG) image containing an oversized tRNS chunk. This can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow (CWE-121), causing the file-png plugin to crash and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the user. | |||||
| CVE-2026-80101 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the file-xwd plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted XWD image file, the plugin validates the image width and bytes-per-line parameters independently rather than ensuring their combined values are consistent with the allocated buffer size. This incorrect validation leads to improper bounds checking, causing a heap out-of-bounds read. This issue can result in an application crash, leading to a denial of service or a limited information disclosure of heap memory contents into the produced image. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53153 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/list_lru: drain before clearing xarray entry on reparent memcg_reparent_list_lrus() clears the dying memcg's xarray entry with xas_store(&xas, NULL) before reparenting its per-node lists into the parent. This opens a window where a concurrent list_lru_del() arriving for the dying memcg sees xa_load() == NULL, walks to the parent in lock_list_lru_of_memcg(), takes the parent's per-node lock, and calls list_del_init() on an item still physically linked on the dying memcg's list. If another in-flight thread holds the dying memcg's per-node lock at the same moment (another list_lru_del, or a list_lru_walk_one running an isolate callback), both threads modify ->next/->prev pointers on the same physical list under different locks. Adjacent items can corrupt each other's links. Fix it by reversing the order: reparent each per-node list and mark the child's list lru dead and then clear the xarray entry. Any concurrent list_lru op that finds the still-set xarray entry either takes the dying memcg's per-node lock (synchronizing with the drain) or sees LONG_MIN and walks to the parent, where the items now live. | |||||
| CVE-2026-59850 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in libssh. If data packets are processed after a channel is closed, channel data callbacks can be invoked after the associated data has already been freed, leading to crashes or possible use-after-free conditions. | |||||
| CVE-2026-59848 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in libssh. A malicious SFTP server can send responses for unknown request IDs that libssh clients keep queued indefinitely, causing unbounded memory growth and client-side denial of service. | |||||
