| There's a flaw in Python 3's pydoc. A local or adjacent attacker who discovers or is able to convince another local or adjacent user to start a pydoc server could access the server and use it to disclose sensitive information belonging to the other user that they would not normally be able to access. The highest risk of this flaw is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects Python versions before 3.8.9, Python versions before 3.9.3 and Python versions before 3.10.0a7. | |||||
| CVE-2020-29573 | 3 Gnu, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Glibc, Cloud Backup, Solidfire Baseboard Management Controller and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| sysdeps/i386/ldbl2mpn.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.23 on x86 targets has a stack-based buffer overflow if the input to any of the printf family of functions is an 80-bit long double with a non-canonical bit pattern, as seen when passing a \x00\x04\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x04 value to sprintf. NOTE: the issue does not affect glibc by default in 2016 or later (i.e., 2.23 or later) because of commits made in 2015 for inlining of C99 math functions through use of GCC built-ins. In other words, the reference to 2.23 is intentional despite the mention of "Fixed for glibc 2.33" in the 26649 reference. | |||||
| CVE-2020-25710 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Openldap and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Openldap and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in OpenLDAP in versions before 2.4.56. This flaw allows an attacker who sends a malicious packet processed by OpenLDAP to force a failed assertion in csnNormalize23(). The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | |||||

| An out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in glibc before 2.31 when handling signal trampolines on PowerPC. Specifically, the backtrace function did not properly check the array bounds when storing the frame address, resulting in a denial of service or potential code execution. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | |||||
| CVE-2020-1712 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Systemd Project | 7 Debian Linux, Ceph Storage, Discovery and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
| A heap use-after-free vulnerability was found in systemd before version v245-rc1, where asynchronous Polkit queries are performed while handling dbus messages. A local unprivileged attacker can abuse this flaw to crash systemd services or potentially execute code and elevate their privileges, by sending specially crafted dbus messages. | |||||
| CVE-2020-10735 | 3 Fedoraproject, Python, Redhat | 5 Fedora, Python, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in python. In algorithms with quadratic time complexity using non-binary bases, when using int("text"), a system could take 50ms to parse an int string with 100,000 digits and 5s for 1,000,000 digits (float, decimal, int.from_bytes(), and int() for binary bases 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 are not affected). The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | |||||

| cyrus-sasl (aka Cyrus SASL) 2.1.27 has an out-of-bounds write leading to unauthenticated remote denial-of-service in OpenLDAP via a malformed LDAP packet. The OpenLDAP crash is ultimately caused by an off-by-one error in _sasl_add_string in common.c in cyrus-sasl. | |||||
| CVE-2019-9636 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Python 2.7.x through 2.7.16 and 3.x through 3.7.2 is affected by: Improper Handling of Unicode Encoding (with an incorrect netloc) during NFKC normalization. The impact is: Information disclosure (credentials, cookies, etc. that are cached against a given hostname). The components are: urllib.parse.urlsplit, urllib.parse.urlparse. The attack vector is: A specially crafted URL could be incorrectly parsed to locate cookies or authentication data and send that information to a different host than when parsed correctly. This is fixed in: v2.7.17, v2.7.17rc1, v2.7.18, v2.7.18rc1; v3.5.10, v3.5.10rc1, v3.5.7, v3.5.8, v3.5.8rc1, v3.5.8rc2, v3.5.9; v3.6.10, v3.6.10rc1, v3.6.11, v3.6.11rc1, v3.6.12, v3.6.9, v3.6.9rc1; v3.7.3, v3.7.3rc1, v3.7.4, v3.7.4rc1, v3.7.4rc2, v3.7.5, v3.7.5rc1, v3.7.6, v3.7.6rc1, v3.7.7, v3.7.7rc1, v3.7.8, v3.7.8rc1, v3.7.9. | |||||
| CVE-2019-6111 | 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more | 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file). | |||||
| CVE-2019-6109 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c. | |||||
| CVE-2019-3857 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 4 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_REQUEST packets with an exit signal are parsed. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server. | |||||
| CVE-2019-3856 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 4 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| An integer overflow flaw, which could lead to an out of bounds write, was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way keyboard prompt requests are parsed. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server. | |||||
| CVE-2019-3855 | 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 14 Xcode, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more | 2026-10-14 | 9.3 HIGH | 8.8 HIGH |
| An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server. | |||||
| CVE-2019-19242 | 5 Canonical, Oracle, Redhat and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Mysql Workbench, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |

| CVE-2019-10160 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| A security regression of CVE-2019-9636 was discovered in python since commit d537ab0ff9767ef024f26246899728f0116b1ec3 affecting versions 2.7, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 and from v3.8.0a4 through v3.8.0b1, which still allows an attacker to exploit CVE-2019-9636 by abusing the user and password parts of a URL. When an application parses user-supplied URLs to store cookies, authentication credentials, or other kind of information, it is possible for an attacker to provide specially crafted URLs to make the application locate host-related information (e.g. cookies, authentication data) and send them to a different host than where it should, unlike if the URLs had been correctly parsed. The result of an attack may vary based on the application. | |||||
| CVE-2013-4235 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Shadow, Fedora and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 3.3 LOW | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| shadow: TOCTOU (time-of-check time-of-use) race condition when copying and removing directory trees | |||||
