CVE-2026-49339 2026-10-25 N/A 7.1 HIGH
gonic is a music streaming server / free-software subsonic server API implementation. The maintainer's fix in commit `6dd71e6a3c966867ef8c900d359a7df75789f410` added an ownership check based on `playlist.UserID`. However, `playlist.UserID` is derived from the first path segment of the attacker-controlled playlist ID, with no path containment on the resolved file path. Any authenticated Subsonic user can therefore bypass the ownership check and read any other user's playlist, delete any other user's playlist, and probe arbitrary file paths on the host for existence/readability. This is a bypass of the boundary the `6dd71e6` fix is trying to enforce; it is closely related to the original GONIC-1 IDOR but uses a different primitive (path traversal in the `id` parameter rather than direct cross-user access). Commit 0824bed88f6bbc490ba28bf09d28e5dfeb07b445 in version 0.21.0 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-40769 2026-10-25 N/A 8.6 HIGH
Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Deletion in Contact Form Extender for Divi – Save Entries, File Upload & Country Code Field <= 1.0.6 versions.
CVE-2026-9154 2 Gnu, Linux 2 Sed, Linux Kernel 2026-10-25 N/A 7.1 HIGH
Arbitrary File Write vulnerability in Rapid7 InsightConnect Sed Plugin on Linux allows authenticated attackers to write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary file paths via the expression parameter.
CVE-2026-53766 1 Google 1 Chrome-devtools-mcp 2026-10-25 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
Chrome DevTools for agents (chrome-devtools-mcp) lets your coding agent control and inspect a live Chrome browser. From 0.24.0 until 1.1.0, McpContext.validatePath() enforces workspace roots by checking whether path.resolve(filePath) textually falls under one of the configured root paths. path.resolve() does not canonicalize symbolic links. As a result, a symlink inside a configured workspace root can point to a file outside that root, pass validation, and then be followed by downstream file read/write operations. This bypass applies even when the MCP client correctly declares the roots capability with a non-empty list. It is separate from the documented legacy behavior where missing roots capability allows all paths. The practical impact is a workspace-boundary bypass. In the write direction, filePath-writing tools can overwrite out-of-root files through an in-root symlink. In the read direction, upload_file can read through the symlink and send the file to the currently selected web page. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.1.0.
CVE-2026-12821 2026-10-25 6.5 MEDIUM 6.3 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was determined in FlowiseAI Flowise up to 3.1.2. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file packages/components/nodes/documentloaders/S3/S3.ts of the component S3 Document Loader. Executing a manipulation can lead to path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
CVE-2026-49406 1 Deno 1 Deno 2026-10-25 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime. Prior to 2.7.12, when Deno was run in BYONM mode (nodeModulesDir: "manual"), the module resolver did not validate that a package's resolved entrypoint stayed within its node_modules/<pkg>/ directory. A malicious package.json whose main field contained .. segments was able to resolve to an arbitrary path on disk, and the resolver then read that file without consulting the --allow-read allowlist. This let a require("evil-pkg") call return the contents of a file that a direct Deno.readTextFileSync(...) call would have been blocked from reading. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.12.
CVE-2026-49290 2026-10-25 N/A N/A
Slopsmith is a self-contained web application for browsing, playing, and practicing Rocksmith 2014 Custom DLC (CDLC). Prior to 0.2.9-alpha.5, a path-traversal vulnerability in Slopsmith's archive extractors allows an attacker to write arbitrary files outside the extraction directory by supplying a crafted PSARC or sloppak archive. With the default Docker configuration (running as root) and the ability to drop a file into the plugin directory, this escalates to arbitrary remote code execution on the host. Three archive extractors concatenated archive-entry filenames directly onto the extraction root without validation: `lib/psarc.py::unpack_psarc` — PSARC TOC filenames; `lib/patcher.py::unpack_psarc` — duplicate of the above in the patcher flow; `lib/sloppak.py::_unpack_zip` — bare `ZipFile.extractall()` with no member filter. Each accepts entry names containing `..` segments, absolute paths, or backslash separators. The Python `zipfile` module's default `extractall()` is documented as not preventing traversal when callers don't supply a member-filter callback. Version 0.2.9-alpha.5 patches the issue. Until updated, do not open PSARC or sloppak archives from untrusted sources, and do not expose the Slopsmith instance to the public internet. Docker users should also pull the latest image after the next slopsmith Docker image is published.
CVE-2026-54066 2026-10-25 N/A 7.5 HIGH
SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, the patch for CVE-2026-41894 ("Path Traversal via Double URL Encoding") sanitized the /export/ route but the identical root cause remains in the /assets/*path route. In publish mode (anonymous read-only HTTP endpoint, default port 6808), an unauthenticated remote attacker can read arbitrary files inside WorkspaceDir — including conf/conf.json (which contains the AccessAuthCode SHA256 hash, API token, and sync keys), temp/siyuan.db, temp/blocktree.db, and siyuan.log — by double-URL-encoding .. segments. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
CVE-2026-4917 1 Ibm 1 Guardium Data Protection 2026-10-25 N/A 4.9 MEDIUM
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.1 could allow an administrative user to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to write arbitrary files on the system.
CVE-2026-48716 2026-10-25 N/A 8.7 HIGH
nanobot is a personal AI assistant. In versions 0.1.5.post3 and prior, the WhatsApp bridge in bridge/src/whatsapp.ts constructs a filesystem path using the fileName field from an incoming WhatsApp document message without sanitization. The WhatsApp bridge downloads media attachments and writes them to disk using a filename derived from the sender's message via documentMessage.fileName, which is concatenated with a prefix and its raw value is passed directly to path.join(mediaDir, outFilename). Node.js path.join resolves .. components, allowing an attacker to escape the intended media/ directory by sending a document with a crafted fileName such as ../../../.ssh/authorized_keys. Because the attacker also controls the file content (the downloaded buffer), this is a write-anywhere primitive — both path and content are attacker-controlled. A fix for this issue is planned for version 0.1.5.post4.
CVE-2026-12479 2026-10-25 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
A path traversal vulnerability exists in keras-team/keras version 3.14.0, specifically in the `DiskIOStore.make` method within the Keras 3 model saving and loading library. This vulnerability arises from the improper handling of user-provided layer names, which are used to construct directory paths without sanitizing for parent directory components (`..`). While forward slashes (`/`) are restricted in layer names, directory traversal sequences are not. This allows an attacker to craft a malicious Keras model that, when saved or loaded, can escape the intended temporary working directory and perform unauthorized file system operations, such as creating directories or writing files in arbitrary locations.
CVE-2026-49506 1 Dell 1 Wyse Management Suite 2026-10-25 N/A 7.2 HIGH
Dell Wyse Management Suite, versions prior to WMS 5.5 HF1, contain an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Remote Code Execution.
CVE-2026-39489 2026-10-25 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
Author Arbitrary File Download in Download Monitor <= 5.1.9 versions.
CVE-2026-10601 1 Grafana 1 Grafana 2026-10-25 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
A user with Viewer permissions can use specially crafted requests to the Tempo and Loki data source plugins to reach unintended backend endpoints. Depending on the backend configuration this can expose data source credentials, leak internal responses, or trigger administrative actions on the configured backend.
CVE-2026-9777 1 Aten 1 Unizon 2026-10-25 N/A 7.2 HIGH
ATEN Unizon restoreDB Directory Traversal Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of ATEN Unizon. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the restoreDB method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-28578.
CVE-2026-41180 2026-10-25 N/A 7.5 HIGH
PsiTransfer is an open source, self-hosted file sharing solution. Prior to version 2.4.3, the upload PATCH flow under `/files/:uploadId` validates the mounted request path using the still-encoded `req.path`, but the downstream tus handler later writes using the decoded `req.params.uploadId`. In deployments that use a supported custom `PSITRANSFER_UPLOAD_DIR` whose basename prefixes a startup-loaded JavaScript path, such as `conf`, an unauthenticated attacker can create `config.<NODE_ENV>.js` in the application root. The attacker-controlled file is then executed on the next process restart. Version 2.4.3 contains a patch.
CVE-2026-42129 1 Grafana 1 Loki Datasource 2026-10-25 N/A 7.7 HIGH
A user with Viewer permissions can use a path traversal in the Loki data source plugin to reach administrative Loki endpoints and read sensitive backend configuration and internal service information.
CVE-2026-54319 2026-10-25 N/A 4.2 MEDIUM
Daytona is a secure and elastic infrastructure runtime for AI-generated code execution and agent workflows. Prior to 0.186, a sandbox volume reference (volumeId, which may also be a volume name) was forwarded to the runner and used to build the host bind-mount source path without confinement. A reference containing path-traversal sequences could in principle resolve the mount source outside the intended per-volume base directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.186.
CVE-2026-49342 2026-10-25 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
YARD is a documentation generation tool for the Ruby programming language. Prior to version 0.9.44, YARD's static cache lookup reads a request path before the router's path cleanup runs. When a server is configured with a document root, a traversal path such as `/../yard-cache-secret.html` is joined against that root and can return a readable sibling `.html` file outside the intended static tree. Version 0.9.44 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-53571 3 Microsoft, Vitejs, Voidzero 3 Windows, Vite, Vite\+ 2026-10-25 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to 8.0.16, 7.3.5, and 6.4.3, the contents of files that are specified by server.fs.deny can be returned to the browser on Windows. Vite’s dev server denies direct access to sensitive files through server.fs.deny, including entries such as .env, .env.*, and *.{crt,pem}. However, on Windows, the deny logic does not correctly normalize NTFS ADS path forms before access checks are applied. Because of this, requests such as /.env::$DATA?raw are treated as allowed paths, while Windows resolves them to the original file's default data stream. Similar to that, Windows allows accessing a file using a different name with the 8.3 short name compatibility feature. Vite did not reject accessing files via them. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.0.16, 7.3.5, and 6.4.3.
