| Mahara before 25.04.5 and 26.04.0 is vulnerable to artefacts being accessible to others under certain circumstances when the file path to an artefact in a page is manipulated. | |||||
| CVE-2026-9335 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability in keras-team/keras versions <= 3.14.0 allows arbitrary local HDF5 file content disclosure due to improper handling of HDF5 ExternalLinks. The `KerasFileEditor` and `keras.saving.load_weights` functions bypass the `safe_get_h5_group` and `safe_get_h5_dataset` helpers, which are designed to reject ExternalLinks and SoftLinks. This results in automatic dereferencing of links to external HDF5 files, enabling attackers to disclose sensitive data from the victim's local filesystem. Specifically, `KerasFileEditor` extracts attributes and datasets from linked files into its internal structures, while `keras.saving.load_weights` loads weights from linked files into the user's model. This issue can be exploited by providing a malicious `.h5`, `.weights.h5`, or `.keras` file containing ExternalLinks. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82460 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| Cloud Commander before 19.20.2 contains a directory traversal vulnerability in REST file-operation and markdown endpoints that fails to properly validate path normalization. Attackers can use path traversal sequences to read, write, move, or copy files outside the configured root directory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82286 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH | ||
| gpt-crawler through 1.5.1 fails to validate the outputFileName parameter in the POST /crawl endpoint, allowing unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary files to any filesystem path. Attackers can supply absolute paths or parent-directory segments to overwrite existing files with content sourced from attacker-controlled URLs. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82275 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Qwen-Agent through 0.0.34 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the document parser that fails to restrict file access to intended directories. Attackers can supply absolute file paths to the unauthenticated Gradio interface to read arbitrary files accessible by the server process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82253 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| gitoxide (Rust crates gix <= 0.72.0 and gix-validate <= 0.10.0) contains a path traversal vulnerability. The submodule name validation function in gix-validate only checks the first occurrence of '..' via name.find(b".."), allowing crafted names such as 'a..b/../../../.git/' to bypass the check; additionally this validation is never invoked in production code paths. Combined with a trust inheritance flaw in Submodule::open(), where the parent repository's git_dir_trust (Trust::Full) is cloned and the ownership verification is skipped, an attacker can craft a malicious .gitmodules file so that a victim tool built on gitoxide reads arbitrary git repository configuration (including embedded credentials) with full trust, bypassing safe-directory protections. Fixed in gix 0.82.0 and gix-validate 0.11.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82233 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 5.7 MEDIUM | ||
| SiYuan before v3.8.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the asset.upload MCP tool that accepts arbitrary absolute file paths without workspace boundary validation. Attackers can induce the AI Agent to upload sensitive files such as SSH keys or credentials from outside the workspace into the asset directory through prompt injection. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82111 | 2026-08-31 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 4.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability was detected in iswalle getnote-mcp up to 1.5.0. The affected element is the function fs.readFileSync of the file src/index.ts of the component upload_image. Performing a manipulation of the argument image_path results in path traversal. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.5.1 is sufficient to fix this issue. The patch is named 7f9a215e03575c650d38c8f87fc6d8d363fed80d. Upgrading the affected component is advised. | |||||
| CVE-2026-79676 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| NLTK versions before 3.10.3 contain a path traversal vulnerability in corpus readers that reopen root-derived paths using built-in open() instead of nltk.pathsec.open(), allowing symlinks to escape trusted roots. Attackers who stage symlinked corpus files under a trusted data root can disclose outside-root content through normal corpus reader methods like channels(), domains(), and synonyms(). | |||||
| CVE-2026-63312 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| NLTK before 3.10.0 contains an arbitrary local file read vulnerability in StreamBackedCorpusView that bypasses pathsec.ENFORCE by calling builtins.open() directly instead of pathsec.open(). Attackers who control the fileid argument can read arbitrary local files regardless of the ENFORCE setting, including sensitive system files and application credentials. | |||||
| CVE-2026-81730 | 1 Dolibarr | 1 Dolibarr Erp\/crm | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| Dolibarr 9.0.0 through 23.0.4 saves inbound email attachments under the name supplied in the message's MIME headers without reducing it to a safe basename. The global saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/lib/emailcollector.lib.php builds $filepath = $path . $filename . '.' . $ext and hands it to file_put_contents(), and the private saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/class/emailcollector.class.php writes to $destdir.'/'.$filename; the name reaches both from the attachment's own getName() or getFilename() value by way of the record-join, create-ticket and create-project operations. A traversal sequence in the filename therefore survives intact, so any sender who can email a mailbox that an EmailCollector monitors, which is the module's ordinary use for a support or ticket inbox, can place attacker-controlled content outside the per-object attachment directory without holding a Dolibarr account. Under the hardened layout Dolibarr's SECURITY.md requires, with htdocs read-only, the write is confined to the documents tree and corrupts or forges other objects' documents; where htdocs is writable the same primitive reaches a web-executable path. Version 24.0.0 applies dol_sanitizePathName() and dol_sanitizeFileName() before the write. | |||||
| CVE-2026-10053 | 1 Gitlab | 1 Gitlab | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 8.5 HIGH |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 18.8 before 19.0.6, 19.1 before 19.1.4, and 19.2 before 19.2.2 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user to achieve remote code execution due to a path traversal vulnerability in the package registry. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82251 | 2026-08-29 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| gitoxide before 0.52.1 fails to validate submodule names from .gitmodules configuration, allowing path traversal when deriving submodule git directories. Attackers can craft malicious submodule names with traversal segments to redirect state() and open() functions to repositories outside .git/modules, causing repository confusion and inspection of attacker-controlled repositories. | |||||
| CVE-2026-81560 | 2026-08-29 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability was identified in blackms aistack up to 1.6.1. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file src/web/server.ts of the component Static File Handler. Such manipulation of the argument req.url leads to path traversal. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40526 | 2026-08-29 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Volmarg Personal Management System contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying absolute filesystem paths to the GET /public/get-file/{path} endpoint. The path route parameter is passed directly to file_get_contents() without canonicalization against a permitted base directory, enabling attackers to retrieve sensitive files accessible to the PHP-FPM worker process without using directory traversal sequences. | |||||
| CVE-2026-80104 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| DB-GPT builds the destination path for an uploaded skill from the multipart filename without constraining it to the upload directory. skill_upload in packages/dbgpt-app/src/dbgpt_app/openapi/api_v1/agentic_data_api.py takes file.filename as given and writes the request body to upload_dir / filename. A path composed with that operator discards the left operand when the right one is absolute and follows parent references otherwise, so a filename such as ../../../tmp/x or /tmp/x resolves outside the intended directory; nothing canonicalises the result, checks that it remains under the upload root, or prevents a .py suffix. The route's only dependency is get_user_from_headers in dbgpt_serve/utils/auth.py, which returns a request carrying the admin role whether or not a user_id header is supplied, so the endpoint is reachable without credentials. A remote attacker holding no account can therefore write attacker-controlled bytes to any path the server process can write, place a new Python module inside the application package or replace one the application already imports, and obtain code execution in the server process when that module is next imported. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82264 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| Duplicacy through 3.2.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the restore function that fails to validate entry paths deserialized from snapshot files. Attackers can craft malicious snapshot entries with directory traversal sequences to write files outside the restore directory to arbitrary locations accessible by the restoring user. | |||||
