| CVE-2026-78592 | 1 Elastic | 1 Kibana | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') (CWE-22) in Kibana can lead to the unauthorized deletion of privileged resources via Path Traversal (CAPEC-126). A low-privileged user holding tag creation privileges could cause a subsequent administrative action in the tag management interface to act on an unintended target, resulting in the deletion of privileged resources including administrative accounts and other organizational assets. Exploitation requires an administrator to interact with the affected interface. | |||||
| CVE-2026-47627 | 2 Linux, Nvidia | 2 Linux Kernel, Triton Inference Server | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause path traversal. A successful exploit might lead to denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-84702 | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| facefusion through 3.6.1 fails to normalize job identifiers in get_job_file_name, allowing attackers to write files outside the jobs directory. Attackers can supply traversal sequences in the job identifier parameter through the unauthenticated HTTP API to create files at arbitrary locations. | |||||
| CVE-2026-78657 | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| The SigmaForms Pro – AI Generated Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the delete_submission_files function in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.11. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The malicious path traversal URL is submitted via form upload field and stored in the database, with deletion triggered when an administrator deletes the submission record from the admin panel. | |||||
| CVE-2026-84442 | 2026-09-02 | 3.2 LOW | 4.4 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability was identified in MapQuest Get Directions App 10.16.1 on Android. This vulnerability affects the function getDataColumn of the file ExpoShareIntentModule.kt of the component com.mapquest.android.ace. The manipulation leads to path traversal. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48020 | 1 Traefik | 1 Traefik | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 10.0 CRITICAL |
| Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to 2.11.48, 3.6.19, and 3.7.3, there is a high severity vulnerability in Traefik's StripPrefix middleware that allows an unauthenticated attacker to bypass route-level authentication and authorization. When a public router matches on a PathPrefix rule and applies the StripPrefix middleware, a request path containing .. or its percent-encoded form %2e%2e can match the public route at routing time and then, after the prefix is stripped and the path is normalized, resolve to a path served by a separate, authenticated router. As a result, an attacker can reach protected backend paths — such as admin or internal configuration endpoints — without satisfying the authentication middleware attached to the protected router. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.11.48, 3.6.19, and 3.7.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-32981 | 1 Anyscale | 1 Ray | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A path traversal vulnerability was identified in Ray Dashboard (default port 8265) in Ray versions prior to 2.8.1. Due to improper validation and sanitization of user-supplied paths in the static file handling mechanism, an attacker can use traversal sequences (e.g., ../) to access files outside the intended static directory, resulting in local file disclosure. | |||||
| CVE-2026-81716 | 1 Jahlives | 1 Openssl Encrypt | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 5.2 MEDIUM |
| openssl_encrypt (pip: openssl-encrypt) versions before 1.4.9 contain a path traversal flaw in PluginSandbox._is_safe_path, which authorized file access using a bare string-prefix match. A sandboxed plugin without the READ_FILES permission could read or write another plugin's directory that merely shares a name prefix (e.g., .../plugins/foobar matching allowed .../plugins/foo), breaking per-plugin isolation within the same user. Fixed by matching each allowed directory exactly or with a trailing path separator. | |||||
| CVE-2026-61753 | 1 Nvidia | 1 Nemo Megatron Bridge | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| NVIDIA Megatron Bridge contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a deserialization of untrusted data. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, data tampering, and information disclosure. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82673 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (Path Traversal) vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin allows writing attacker-controlled bytes to arbitrary paths on the server. AshAdmin.Components.Resource.Form.consume_file_uploads/1 builds the destination as Path.join([tmp_dir, entry.client_name]) and writes it with File.cp!/2. entry.client_name is the browser-supplied filename and is not sanitized, and Path.join/1 does not normalize ... An upload named ../../../../var/www/app/priv/static/x.png therefore escapes the random temp directory and lands anywhere the BEAM user can write, enabling arbitrary file write and potentially remote code execution by overwriting application assets, configuration, or cron/ssh files. The only guard is an extension allowlist defaulting to :any that checks only the extension. The fix strips path components with Path.basename/1 before joining. This issue affects ash_admin: from 0.13.7 before 1.3.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82217 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| In Eclipse Theia versions 1.73.0 up to but not including 1.75.0, the AI "Agent Mode" file-change tools (writeFileContent, suggestFileContent, and the replacement and state helpers) resolved a model-supplied file path without a workspace-containment check. A crafted relative path such as ../.bashrc, an absolute path, or a ~-expanded path could therefore write or delete files outside the workspace with the privileges of the Theia backend OS user. Because the path argument is influenced by model output, it can be steered through indirect prompt injection, and in Agent Mode writes are applied without a confirmation dialog. Writing to a host-executed file such as a shell startup file or ~/.ssh/authorized_keys can escalate to code execution on the backend. | |||||
| CVE-2026-79653 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | N/A | ||
| In Eclipse SW360 versions 19.0.0, 19.1.0, 19.2.0, 20.0.0, 20.1.0, if the system is configured to use file system storage with config key enable.attachment.store.to.file.system, the attacker can manipulate the filename upon upload and can essentially cause arbitrary file path traversal. The immediate workaround is to disable enable.attachment.store.to.file.system or update to fixed versions. | |||||
| CVE-2026-70383 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Estonian Information System Authority (RIA) DigiDoc4 client. This issue affects DigiDoc4: from 4.0.0 before 4.11.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-75418 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in the built-in preview/development web server of Lektor <3.3.14 on Windows. An attacker with network access to the server can send a crafted HTTP request containing path traversal sequences to read arbitrary files accessible to the process, disclosing sensitive information such as system files and deployment configuration files containing credentials. | |||||
| CVE-2026-18274 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 7.2 HIGH | ||
| Heimdall Data Database Proxy uploadJar Directory Traversal Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Heimdall Data Database Proxy. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the uploadJar method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-28603. | |||||
| CVE-2026-15059 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Local unprivileged users can terminate arbitrary local processes via a systemd-oomd IPC API due to a missing path traversal validation. | |||||
| CVE-2026-19952 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| The Frontend Admin by DynamiApps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the move_folders function in all versions up to, and including, 3.29.12. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This is exploitable without authentication when a form is configured with public visibility (who_can_see='all'), as the required nonce is publicly obtainable from the rendered form. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72773 | 1 N8n | 1 N8n | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH |
| n8n before 2.31.5 and 2.32.x before 2.32.1 contain a path-confinement bypass in the @n8n/computer-use file-search (search_files) tool. A crafted search pattern can bypass the base-directory confinement check and expand to locations outside the configured directory, causing the tool to return the names and contents of arbitrary local files readable by the daemon's OS user. Any deployment where an actor can influence the tool's search input is affected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-37007 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| A vulnerability in FileWriterTool in crewai-tools <= 1.10.2rc1 allows a remote attacker to achieve code execution via malicious path traversal sequences in the filename argument. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72770 | 1 N8n | 1 N8n | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| n8n versions before 1.123.67 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the Git node's fetch, pull, and push-tags operations that allows authenticated users to bypass repository-path containment checks. Attackers with workflow create/execute rights can point allowlisted remote configurations at local paths outside the sandbox to pull arbitrary git repositories and read their files and history. | |||||
