When the default servlet in Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.11, 8.5.0 to 8.5.33 and 7.0.23 to 7.0.90 returned a redirect to a directory (e.g. redirecting to '/foo/' when the user requested '/foo') a specially crafted URL could be used to cause the redirect to be generated to any URI of the attackers choice.
CVE-2020-5398 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware 33 Data Availability Services, Snapcenter, Application Testing Suite and 30 more 2026-10-08 7.6 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
In Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.3, versions 5.1.x prior to 5.1.13, and versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.16, an application is vulnerable to a reflected file download (RFD) attack when it sets a "Content-Disposition" header in the response where the filename attribute is derived from user supplied input.
CVE-2020-11987 4 Apache, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 22 Batik, Debian Linux, Fedora and 19 more 2026-10-08 6.4 MEDIUM 8.2 HIGH
Apache Batik 1.13 is vulnerable to server-side request forgery, caused by improper input validation by the NodePickerPanel. By using a specially-crafted argument, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the underlying server to make arbitrary GET requests.
CVE-2019-10219 3 Netapp, Oracle, Redhat 194 Active Iq Unified Manager, Element, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci and 191 more 2026-10-08 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in Hibernate-Validator. The SafeHtml validator annotation fails to properly sanitize payloads consisting of potentially malicious code in HTML comments and instructions. This vulnerability can result in an XSS attack.
CVE-2018-1270 4 Debian, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more 28 Debian Linux, Application Testing Suite, Big Data Discovery and 25 more 2026-10-08 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Spring Framework, versions 5.0 prior to 5.0.5 and versions 4.3 prior to 4.3.15 and older unsupported versions, allow applications to expose STOMP over WebSocket endpoints with a simple, in-memory STOMP broker through the spring-messaging module. A malicious user (or attacker) can craft a message to the broker that can lead to a remote code execution attack.
CVE-2018-1257 3 Oracle, Redhat, Vmware 30 Agile Product Lifecycle Management, Application Testing Suite, Big Data Discovery and 27 more 2026-10-08 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Spring Framework, versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.6, versions 4.3.x prior to 4.3.17, and older unsupported versions allows applications to expose STOMP over WebSocket endpoints with a simple, in-memory STOMP broker through the spring-messaging module. A malicious user (or attacker) can craft a message to the broker that can lead to a regular expression, denial of service attack.
CVE-2018-15756 3 Debian, Oracle, Vmware 40 Debian Linux, Agile Product Lifecycle Management, Communications Brm - Elastic Charging Engine and 37 more 2026-10-08 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Spring Framework, version 5.1, versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.10, versions 4.3.x prior to 4.3.20, and older unsupported versions on the 4.2.x branch provide support for range requests when serving static resources through the ResourceHttpRequestHandler, or starting in 5.0 when an annotated controller returns an org.springframework.core.io.Resource. A malicious user (or attacker) can add a range header with a high number of ranges, or with wide ranges that overlap, or both, for a denial of service attack. This vulnerability affects applications that depend on either spring-webmvc or spring-webflux. Such applications must also have a registration for serving static resources (e.g. JS, CSS, images, and others), or have an annotated controller that returns an org.springframework.core.io.Resource. Spring Boot applications that depend on spring-boot-starter-web or spring-boot-starter-webflux are ready to serve static resources out of the box and are therefore vulnerable.
CVE-2020-9484 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more 26 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 23 more 2026-10-08 4.4 MEDIUM 7.0 HIGH
When using Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M4, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.34, 8.5.0 to 8.5.54 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.103 if a) an attacker is able to control the contents and name of a file on the server; and b) the server is configured to use the PersistenceManager with a FileStore; and c) the PersistenceManager is configured with sessionAttributeValueClassNameFilter="null" (the default unless a SecurityManager is used) or a sufficiently lax filter to allow the attacker provided object to be deserialized; and d) the attacker knows the relative file path from the storage location used by FileStore to the file the attacker has control over; then, using a specifically crafted request, the attacker will be able to trigger remote code execution via deserialization of the file under their control. Note that all of conditions a) to d) must be true for the attack to succeed.
CVE-2020-5421 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware 38 Oncommand Insight, Snap Creator Framework, Snapcenter and 35 more 2026-10-08 3.6 LOW 6.5 MEDIUM
In Spring Framework versions 5.2.0 - 5.2.8, 5.1.0 - 5.1.17, 5.0.0 - 5.0.18, 4.3.0 - 4.3.28, and older unsupported versions, the protections against RFD attacks from CVE-2015-5211 may be bypassed depending on the browser used through the use of a jsessionid path parameter.
CVE-2020-1935 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 20 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 17 more 2026-10-08 5.8 MEDIUM 4.8 MEDIUM
In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99 the HTTP header parsing code used an approach to end-of-line parsing that allowed some invalid HTTP headers to be parsed as valid. This led to a possibility of HTTP Request Smuggling if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that incorrectly handled the invalid Transfer-Encoding header in a particular manner. Such a reverse proxy is considered unlikely.
CVE-2019-17563 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more 11 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 8 more 2026-10-08 5.1 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
When using FORM authentication with Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.29, 8.5.0 to 8.5.49 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.98 there was a narrow window where an attacker could perform a session fixation attack. The window was considered too narrow for an exploit to be practical but, erring on the side of caution, this issue has been treated as a security vulnerability.
CVE-2021-29425 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more 60 Commons Io, Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager and 57 more 2026-10-07 5.8 MEDIUM 4.8 MEDIUM
In Apache Commons IO before 2.7, When invoking the method FileNameUtils.normalize with an improper input string, like "//../foo", or "\\..\foo", the result would be the same value, thus possibly providing access to files in the parent directory, but not further above (thus "limited" path traversal), if the calling code would use the result to construct a path value.
CVE-2020-10683 5 Canonical, Dom4j Project, Netapp and 2 more 38 Ubuntu Linux, Dom4j, Oncommand Api Services and 35 more 2026-08-25 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
dom4j before 2.0.3 and 2.1.x before 2.1.3 allows external DTDs and External Entities by default, which might enable XXE attacks. However, there is popular external documentation from OWASP showing how to enable the safe, non-default behavior in any application that uses dom4j.
CVE-2021-45105 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 121 Log4j, Debian Linux, Cloud Manager and 118 more 2026-08-25 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-alpha1 through 2.16.0 (excluding 2.12.3 and 2.3.1) did not protect from uncontrolled recursion from self-referential lookups. This allows an attacker with control over Thread Context Map data to cause a denial of service when a crafted string is interpreted. This issue was fixed in Log4j 2.17.0, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1.
CVE-2021-2351 1 Oracle 111 Advanced Networking Option, Agile Engineering Data Management, Agile Product Lifecycle Management and 108 more 2026-08-25 5.1 MEDIUM 8.3 HIGH
Vulnerability in the Advanced Networking Option component of Oracle Database Server. Supported versions that are affected are 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1 and 19c. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Advanced Networking Option. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Advanced Networking Option, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Advanced Networking Option. Note: The July 2021 Critical Patch Update introduces a number of Native Network Encryption changes to deal with vulnerability CVE-2021-2351 and prevent the use of weaker ciphers. Customers should review: "Changes in Native Network Encryption with the July 2021 Critical Patch Update" (Doc ID 2791571.1). CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.3 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H).
CVE-2017-12617 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 58 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 55 more 2026-08-25 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
When running Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0, 8.5.0 to 8.5.22, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.46 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.81 with HTTP PUTs enabled (e.g. via setting the readonly initialisation parameter of the Default servlet to false) it was possible to upload a JSP file to the server via a specially crafted request. This JSP could then be requested and any code it contained would be executed by the server.
CVE-2022-25647 4 Debian, Google, Netapp and 1 more 6 Debian Linux, Gson, Active Iq Unified Manager and 3 more 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.7 HIGH
The package com.google.code.gson:gson before 2.8.9 are vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data via the writeReplace() method in internal classes, which may lead to DoS attacks.
CVE-2021-44832 5 Apache, Cisco, Debian and 2 more 22 Log4j, Cloudcenter, Debian Linux and 19 more 2026-06-17 8.5 HIGH 6.6 MEDIUM
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-beta7 through 2.17.0 (excluding security fix releases 2.3.2 and 2.12.4) are vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack when a configuration uses a JDBC Appender with a JNDI LDAP data source URI when an attacker has control of the target LDAP server. This issue is fixed by limiting JNDI data source names to the java protocol in Log4j2 versions 2.17.1, 2.12.4, and 2.3.2.
CVE-2021-22118 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware 32 Hci, Management Services For Element Software, Commerce Guided Search and 29 more 2026-06-17 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
In Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.15 and versions 5.3.x prior to 5.3.7, a WebFlux application is vulnerable to a privilege escalation: by (re)creating the temporary storage directory, a locally authenticated malicious user can read or modify files that have been uploaded to the WebFlux application, or overwrite arbitrary files with multipart request data.
CVE-2020-9410 2 Oracle, Tibco 3 Retail Order Broker, Jasperreports Library, Jasperreports Server 2026-06-17 6.8 MEDIUM 7.3 HIGH
The report generator component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO JasperReports Library, TIBCO JasperReports Library for ActiveMatrix BPM, TIBCO JasperReports Server, TIBCO JasperReports Server for AWS Marketplace, and TIBCO JasperReports Server for ActiveMatrix BPM contains a vulnerability that theoretically allows an attacker to exploit HTML injection to gain full control of a web interface containing the output of the report generator component with the privileges of any user that views the affected report(s).
