CVE-2024-9676 1 Redhat 15 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux For Arm 64 and 12 more 2026-10-30 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O. A symlink traversal vulnerability in the containers/storage library can cause Podman, Buildah, and CRI-O to hang and result in a denial of service via OOM kill when running a malicious image using an automatically assigned user namespace (`--userns=auto` in Podman and Buildah). The containers/storage library will read /etc/passwd inside the container, but does not properly validate if that file is a symlink, which can be used to cause the library to read an arbitrary file on the host.
CVE-2026-42009 2 Gnu, Redhat 14 Gnutls, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Els and 11 more 2026-10-30 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit an issue in the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) packet reordering logic. The comparator function, responsible for ordering DTLS packets by sequence numbers, did not correctly handle packets with duplicate sequence numbers. This could lead to unstable packet ordering or undefined behavior, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2024-9675 2 Buildah Project, Redhat 14 Buildah, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 11 more 2026-10-30 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in Buildah. Cache mounts do not properly validate that user-specified paths for the cache are within our cache directory, allowing a `RUN` instruction in a Container file to mount an arbitrary directory from the host (read/write) into the container as long as those files can be accessed by the user running Buildah.
CVE-2026-5201 2 Gnome, Redhat 18 Gdk-pixbuf, Ai Inference Server, Enterprise Linux and 15 more 2026-10-29 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in the gdk-pixbuf library. This heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability occurs in the JPEG image loader due to improper validation of color component counts when processing a specially crafted JPEG image. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw without user interaction, for example, via thumbnail generation. Successful exploitation leads to application crashes and denial of service (DoS) conditions.
CVE-2023-6915 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 24 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder and 21 more 2026-10-23 N/A 6.2 MEDIUM
A Null pointer dereference problem was found in ida_free in lib/idr.c in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow an attacker using this library to cause a denial of service problem due to a missing check at a function return.
CVE-2024-12088 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more 20 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 17 more 2026-10-21 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in rsync. When using the `--safe-links` option, the rsync client fails to properly verify if a symbolic link destination sent from the server contains another symbolic link within it. This results in a path traversal vulnerability, which may lead to arbitrary file write outside the desired directory.
CVE-2024-12087 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more 18 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 15 more 2026-10-21 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A path traversal vulnerability exists in rsync. It stems from behavior enabled by the `--inc-recursive` option, a default-enabled option for many client options and can be enabled by the server even if not explicitly enabled by the client. When using the `--inc-recursive` option, a lack of proper symlink verification coupled with deduplication checks occurring on a per-file-list basis could allow a server to write files outside of the client's intended destination directory. A malicious server could write malicious files to arbitrary locations named after valid directories/paths on the client.
CVE-2025-13601 2 Gnome, Redhat 29 Glib, Ceph Storage, Codeready Linux Builder and 26 more 2026-10-18 N/A 7.7 HIGH
A heap-based buffer overflow problem was found in glib through an incorrect calculation of buffer size in the g_escape_uri_string() function. If the string to escape contains a very large number of unacceptable characters (which would need escaping), the calculation of the length of the escaped string could overflow, leading to a potential write off the end of the newly allocated string.
CVE-2024-6387 13 Almalinux, Amazon, Apple and 10 more 81 Almalinux, Amazon Linux, Macos and 78 more 2026-10-15 N/A 8.1 HIGH
A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period.
CVE-2023-4911 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 49 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 46 more 2026-10-14 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges.
CVE-2021-3737 6 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more 17 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Hci and 14 more 2026-10-14 7.1 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in python. An improperly handled HTTP response in the HTTP client code of python may allow a remote attacker, who controls the HTTP server, to make the client script enter an infinite loop, consuming CPU time. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2021-3733 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Python and 1 more 20 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Hci Compute Node Firmware and 17 more 2026-10-14 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
There's a flaw in urllib's AbstractBasicAuthHandler class. An attacker who controls a malicious HTTP server that an HTTP client (such as web browser) connects to, could trigger a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDOS) during an authentication request with a specially crafted payload that is sent by the server to the client. The greatest threat that this flaw poses is to application availability.
CVE-2019-19906 8 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 5 more 20 Bookkeeper, Ipados, Iphone Os and 17 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
cyrus-sasl (aka Cyrus SASL) 2.1.27 has an out-of-bounds write leading to unauthenticated remote denial-of-service in OpenLDAP via a malformed LDAP packet. The OpenLDAP crash is ultimately caused by an off-by-one error in _sasl_add_string in common.c in cyrus-sasl.
CVE-2024-12085 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more 22 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 19 more 2026-10-13 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time.
CVE-2025-6021 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 20 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux For Arm 64 and 17 more 2026-10-12 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input.
CVE-2019-8720 3 Redhat, Webkitgtk, Wpewebkit 23 Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder Eus, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64 Eus and 20 more 2026-10-08 N/A 8.8 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in WebKit. The flaw is triggered when processing maliciously crafted web content that may lead to arbitrary code execution. Improved memory handling addresses the multiple memory corruption issues.
CVE-2026-59849 2 Libssh, Redhat 11 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Els and 8 more 2026-09-22 N/A 3.1 LOW
A flaw was found in libssh. Logic errors in automatic certificate-based public key authentication can cause libssh clients to loop indefinitely when configured certificates are missing or repeatedly rejected by a server, leading to denial of service.
CVE-2026-59842 2 Libssh, Redhat 11 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Els and 8 more 2026-09-22 N/A 3.7 LOW
A flaw was found in libssh. During server-side GSSAPI key exchange, a client-supplied Curve25519 public key shorter than the expected length is copied without proper length validation, leading to an out-of-bounds heap read. This could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to disclose small amounts of server memory.
CVE-2026-15370 2 Libssh, Redhat 11 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Els and 8 more 2026-09-22 N/A 6.7 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in libssh. During SFTP server directory listing, the longname field is constructed with unsafe concatenation into a fixed-size stack buffer. When a client causes the server to list attacker-controlled filenames, sufficiently long names can overflow that stack buffer and may lead to crashes or possible code execution on the server.
CVE-2022-1011 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 3 more 38 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 35 more 2026-08-26 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
