A malicious server can use the FTP PASV response to trick curl 7.73.0 and earlier into connecting back to a given IP address and port, and this way potentially make curl extract information about services that are otherwise private and not disclosed, for example doing port scanning and service banner extractions.
CVE-2020-7595 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 32 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 29 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
xmlStringLenDecodeEntities in parser.c in libxml2 2.9.10 has an infinite loop in a certain end-of-file situation.
CVE-2020-6096 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc 2026-10-14 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
An exploitable signed comparison vulnerability exists in the ARMv7 memcpy() implementation of GNU glibc 2.30.9000. Calling memcpy() (on ARMv7 targets that utilize the GNU glibc implementation) with a negative value for the 'num' parameter results in a signed comparison vulnerability. If an attacker underflows the 'num' parameter to memcpy(), this vulnerability could lead to undefined behavior such as writing to out-of-bounds memory and potentially remote code execution. Furthermore, this memcpy() implementation allows for program execution to continue in scenarios where a segmentation fault or crash should have occurred. The dangers occur in that subsequent execution and iterations of this code will be executed with this corrupted data.
CVE-2020-11501 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2026-10-14 5.8 MEDIUM 7.4 HIGH
GnuTLS 3.6.x before 3.6.13 uses incorrect cryptography for DTLS. The earliest affected version is 3.6.3 (2018-07-16) because of an error in a 2017-10-06 commit. The DTLS client always uses 32 '\0' bytes instead of a random value, and thus contributes no randomness to a DTLS negotiation. This breaks the security guarantees of the DTLS protocol.
CVE-2020-10878 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Opensuse and 2 more 17 Fedora, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Snap Creator Framework and 14 more 2026-10-14 7.5 HIGH 8.6 HIGH
Perl before 5.30.3 has an integer overflow related to mishandling of a "PL_regkind[OP(n)] == NOTHING" situation. A crafted regular expression could lead to malformed bytecode with a possibility of instruction injection.
CVE-2020-10735 3 Fedoraproject, Python, Redhat 5 Fedora, Python, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-10-14 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in python. In algorithms with quadratic time complexity using non-binary bases, when using int("text"), a system could take 50ms to parse an int string with 100,000 digits and 5s for 1,000,000 digits (float, decimal, int.from_bytes(), and int() for binary bases 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 are not affected). The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2020-10543 4 Fedoraproject, Opensuse, Oracle and 1 more 15 Fedora, Leap, Communications Billing And Revenue Management and 12 more 2026-10-14 6.4 MEDIUM 8.2 HIGH
Perl before 5.30.3 on 32-bit platforms allows a heap-based buffer overflow because nested regular expression quantifiers have an integer overflow.
CVE-2020-10531 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more 2026-10-14 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ through 66.1. An integer overflow, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow, exists in the UnicodeString::doAppend() function in common/unistr.cpp.
CVE-2020-10029 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more 2026-10-14 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.32 could overflow an on-stack buffer during range reduction if an input to an 80-bit long double function contains a non-canonical bit pattern, a seen when passing a 0x5d414141414141410000 value to sinl on x86 targets. This is related to sysdeps/ieee754/ldbl-96/e_rem_pio2l.c.
CVE-2019-25013 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 10 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 7 more 2026-10-14 7.1 HIGH 5.9 MEDIUM
The iconv feature in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.32, when processing invalid multi-byte input sequences in the EUC-KR encoding, may have a buffer over-read.
CVE-2019-20907 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In Lib/tarfile.py in Python through 3.8.3, an attacker is able to craft a TAR archive leading to an infinite loop when opened by tarfile.open, because _proc_pax lacks header validation.
CVE-2019-20388 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more 31 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 28 more 2026-10-14 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
xmlSchemaPreRun in xmlschemas.c in libxml2 2.9.10 allows an xmlSchemaValidateStream memory leak.

cyrus-sasl (aka Cyrus SASL) 2.1.27 has an out-of-bounds write leading to unauthenticated remote denial-of-service in OpenLDAP via a malformed LDAP packet. The OpenLDAP crash is ultimately caused by an off-by-one error in _sasl_add_string in common.c in cyrus-sasl.
CVE-2019-9948 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more 2026-10-14 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
urllib in Python 2.x through 2.7.16 supports the local_file: scheme, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass protection mechanisms that blacklist file: URIs, as demonstrated by triggering a urllib.urlopen('local_file:///etc/passwd') call.
