| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 3.16 through 5.5.6. set_fdc in drivers/block/floppy.c leads to a wait_til_ready out-of-bounds read because the FDC index is not checked for errors before assigning it, aka CID-2e90ca68b0d2. | |||||
| CVE-2020-8992 | 4 Canonical, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 8 more | 2026-06-17 | 4.9 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| ext4_protect_reserved_inode in fs/ext4/block_validity.c in the Linux kernel through 5.5.3 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (soft lockup) via a crafted journal size. | |||||
| CVE-2020-8835 | 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 47 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 44 more | 2026-06-17 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel 5.5.0 and newer, the bpf verifier (kernel/bpf/verifier.c) did not properly restrict the register bounds for 32-bit operations, leading to out-of-bounds reads and writes in kernel memory. The vulnerability also affects the Linux 5.4 stable series, starting with v5.4.7, as the introducing commit was backported to that branch. This vulnerability was fixed in 5.6.1, 5.5.14, and 5.4.29. (issue is aka ZDI-CAN-10780) | |||||
| CVE-2020-8584 | 1 Netapp | 4 Element Os, Hci Management Node, Hci Storage Node and 1 more | 2026-06-17 | 10.0 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Element OS versions prior to 1.8P1 and 12.2 are susceptible to a vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to perform arbitrary code execution. | |||||
| CVE-2020-29369 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 5 Linux Kernel, Hci Compute Node, Hci Management Node and 2 more | 2026-06-17 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in mm/mmap.c in the Linux kernel before 5.7.11. There is a race condition between certain expand functions (expand_downwards and expand_upwards) and page-table free operations from an munmap call, aka CID-246c320a8cfe. | |||||
| CVE-2020-29368 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 9 Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup, Element Software and 6 more | 2026-06-17 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in __split_huge_pmd in mm/huge_memory.c in the Linux kernel before 5.7.5. The copy-on-write implementation can grant unintended write access because of a race condition in a THP mapcount check, aka CID-c444eb564fb1. | |||||
| CVE-2020-27223 | 5 Apache, Debian, Eclipse and 2 more | 16 Nifi, Solr, Spark and 13 more | 2026-06-17 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.2 MEDIUM |
| In Eclipse Jetty 9.4.6.v20170531 to 9.4.36.v20210114 (inclusive), 10.0.0, and 11.0.0 when Jetty handles a request containing multiple Accept headers with a large number of “quality” (i.e. q) parameters, the server may enter a denial of service (DoS) state due to high CPU usage processing those quality values, resulting in minutes of CPU time exhausted processing those quality values. | |||||
| CVE-2020-1971 | 8 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 5 more | 46 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 43 more | 2026-06-17 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| The X.509 GeneralName type is a generic type for representing different types of names. One of those name types is known as EDIPartyName. OpenSSL provides a function GENERAL_NAME_cmp which compares different instances of a GENERAL_NAME to see if they are equal or not. This function behaves incorrectly when both GENERAL_NAMEs contain an EDIPARTYNAME. A NULL pointer dereference and a crash may occur leading to a possible denial of service attack. OpenSSL itself uses the GENERAL_NAME_cmp function for two purposes: 1) Comparing CRL distribution point names between an available CRL and a CRL distribution point embedded in an X509 certificate 2) When verifying that a timestamp response token signer matches the timestamp authority name (exposed via the API functions TS_RESP_verify_response and TS_RESP_verify_token) If an attacker can control both items being compared then that attacker could trigger a crash. For example if the attacker can trick a client or server into checking a malicious certificate against a malicious CRL then this may occur. Note that some applications automatically download CRLs based on a URL embedded in a certificate. This checking happens prior to the signatures on the certificate and CRL being verified. OpenSSL's s_server, s_client and verify tools have support for the "-crl_download" option which implements automatic CRL downloading and this attack has been demonstrated to work against those tools. Note that an unrelated bug means that affected versions of OpenSSL cannot parse or construct correct encodings of EDIPARTYNAME. However it is possible to construct a malformed EDIPARTYNAME that OpenSSL's parser will accept and hence trigger this attack. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 versions are affected by this issue. Other OpenSSL releases are out of support and have not been checked. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1i (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1h). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2x (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2w). | |||||
| CVE-2020-16599 | 2 Gnu, Netapp | 5 Binutils, Cloud Backup, Hci Management Node and 2 more | 2026-06-17 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A Null Pointer Dereference vulnerability exists in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.35, in _bfd_elf_get_symbol_version_string, as demonstrated in nm-new, that can cause a denial of service via a crafted file. | |||||
| CVE-2020-16166 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more | 2026-06-17 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 3.7 LOW |
| The Linux kernel through 5.7.11 allows remote attackers to make observations that help to obtain sensitive information about the internal state of the network RNG, aka CID-f227e3ec3b5c. This is related to drivers/char/random.c and kernel/time/timer.c. | |||||
| CVE-2020-15862 | 3 Canonical, Net-snmp, Netapp | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Net-snmp, Cloud Backup and 3 more | 2026-06-17 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
| Net-SNMP through 5.8 has Improper Privilege Management because SNMP WRITE access to the EXTEND MIB provides the ability to run arbitrary commands as root. | |||||
| CVE-2020-14803 | 4 Debian, Netapp, Opensuse and 1 more | 19 Debian Linux, 7-mode Transition Tool, Active Iq Unified Manager and 16 more | 2026-06-17 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
