| CVE-2022-22970 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware | 6 Active Iq Unified Manager, Brocade San Navigator, Cloud Secure Agent and 3 more | 2026-10-08 | 3.5 LOW | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In spring framework versions prior to 5.3.20+ , 5.2.22+ and old unsupported versions, applications that handle file uploads are vulnerable to DoS attack if they rely on data binding to set a MultipartFile or javax.servlet.Part to a field in a model object. | |||||
| CVE-2022-22968 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware | 7 Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Secure Agent, Metrocluster Tiebreaker and 4 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In Spring Framework versions 5.3.0 - 5.3.18, 5.2.0 - 5.2.20, and older unsupported versions, the patterns for disallowedFields on a DataBinder are case sensitive which means a field is not effectively protected unless it is listed with both upper and lower case for the first character of the field, including upper and lower case for the first character of all nested fields within the property path. | |||||
| CVE-2021-3711 | 5 Debian, Netapp, Openssl and 2 more | 31 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 28 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In order to decrypt SM2 encrypted data an application is expected to call the API function EVP_PKEY_decrypt(). Typically an application will call this function twice. The first time, on entry, the "out" parameter can be NULL and, on exit, the "outlen" parameter is populated with the buffer size required to hold the decrypted plaintext. The application can then allocate a sufficiently sized buffer and call EVP_PKEY_decrypt() again, but this time passing a non-NULL value for the "out" parameter. A bug in the implementation of the SM2 decryption code means that the calculation of the buffer size required to hold the plaintext returned by the first call to EVP_PKEY_decrypt() can be smaller than the actual size required by the second call. This can lead to a buffer overflow when EVP_PKEY_decrypt() is called by the application a second time with a buffer that is too small. A malicious attacker who is able present SM2 content for decryption to an application could cause attacker chosen data to overflow the buffer by up to a maximum of 62 bytes altering the contents of other data held after the buffer, possibly changing application behaviour or causing the application to crash. The location of the buffer is application dependent but is typically heap allocated. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1l (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1k). | |||||
| CVE-2021-3450 | 10 Fedoraproject, Freebsd, Mcafee and 7 more | 35 Fedora, Freebsd, Web Gateway and 32 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 7.4 HIGH |
| The X509_V_FLAG_X509_STRICT flag enables additional security checks of the certificates present in a certificate chain. It is not set by default. Starting from OpenSSL version 1.1.1h a check to disallow certificates in the chain that have explicitly encoded elliptic curve parameters was added as an additional strict check. An error in the implementation of this check meant that the result of a previous check to confirm that certificates in the chain are valid CA certificates was overwritten. This effectively bypasses the check that non-CA certificates must not be able to issue other certificates. If a "purpose" has been configured then there is a subsequent opportunity for checks that the certificate is a valid CA. All of the named "purpose" values implemented in libcrypto perform this check. Therefore, where a purpose is set the certificate chain will still be rejected even when the strict flag has been used. A purpose is set by default in libssl client and server certificate verification routines, but it can be overridden or removed by an application. In order to be affected, an application must explicitly set the X509_V_FLAG_X509_STRICT verification flag and either not set a purpose for the certificate verification or, in the case of TLS client or server applications, override the default purpose. OpenSSL versions 1.1.1h and newer are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1k. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is not impacted by this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1k (Affected 1.1.1h-1.1.1j). | |||||
| CVE-2021-38199 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 8 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Element Software and 5 more | 2026-10-08 | 3.3 LOW | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| fs/nfs/nfs4client.c in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 has incorrect connection-setup ordering, which allows operators of remote NFSv4 servers to cause a denial of service (hanging of mounts) by arranging for those servers to be unreachable during trunking detection. | |||||
| CVE-2021-37714 | 4 Jsoup, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 16 Jsoup, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci, Banking Trade Finance and 13 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| jsoup is a Java library for working with HTML. Those using jsoup versions prior to 1.14.2 to parse untrusted HTML or XML may be vulnerable to DOS attacks. If the parser is run on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to get stuck (loop indefinitely until cancelled), to complete more slowly than usual, or to throw an unexpected exception. This effect may support a denial of service attack. The issue is patched in version 1.14.2. There are a few available workarounds. Users may rate limit input parsing, limit the size of inputs based on system resources, and/or implement thread watchdogs to cap and timeout parse runtimes. | |||||
| CVE-2021-36090 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle | 34 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 31 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package. | |||||
| CVE-2021-34866 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 17 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 14 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
| This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Linux Kernel 5.14-rc3. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of eBPF programs. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied eBPF programs, which can result in a type confusion condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel. Was ZDI-CAN-14689. | |||||
| CVE-2021-31879 | 3 Broadcom, Gnu, Netapp | 8 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Wget, 500f and 5 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
| GNU Wget through 1.21.1 does not omit the Authorization header upon a redirect to a different origin, a related issue to CVE-2018-1000007. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28972 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp | 5 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 2 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.2 HIGH | 6.7 MEDIUM |
| In drivers/pci/hotplug/rpadlpar_sysfs.c in the Linux kernel through 5.11.8, the RPA PCI Hotplug driver has a user-tolerable buffer overflow when writing a new device name to the driver from userspace, allowing userspace to write data to the kernel stack frame directly. This occurs because add_slot_store and remove_slot_store mishandle drc_name '\0' termination, aka CID-cc7a0bb058b8. | |||||
