| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an LDAP Query ('LDAP Injection') vulnerability in Apache APISIX. A caller who holds valid credentials for one entry in the LDAP directory can authenticate through APISIX as a consumer mapped to a different entry, one the plugin's configured scope was meant to keep out of reach. This issue affects Apache APISIX: from 2.11.0 through 3.17.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.18.0, which fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-16071 | 1 Redhat | 1 Build Of Keycloak | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the LDAP storage provider of Keycloak, which is used to federate user identities from external directories. The issue occurs when a delegated administrator performs a search using a specific LDAP entry Distinguished Name (DN). Due to missing validation, the system allows lookups for users located outside the configured search boundary, leading to the disclosure of account information from unauthorized parts of the directory and unintended importing of those users into local storage. | |||||
| CVE-2026-19271 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an LDAP Query ('LDAP Injection') vulnerability in TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Software Technologies Research Institute Liderahenk allows LDAP Injection. This issue affects Liderahenk: from 3.4.0 before 3.5.5. | |||||
| CVE-2026-74241 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift Update Service, Quay | 2026-08-20 | N/A | 4.8 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's external Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication handling. When an LDAP referral is returned during authentication, the system does not properly escape the username input. This allows an attacker to inject LDAP filter metacharacters, enabling user-existence oracle attacks at the referral Directory Name (DN). This could also potentially influence which DN is used for password binding in multi-domain Active Directory environments. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76373 | 2026-08-20 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM | ||
| In versions below 2.3.8 of the AD LDAP app for Splunk SOAR, a user who holds a role with permission to run actions could inject crafted input into an Active Directory query to enumerate Active Directory objects, including accounts, groups, and organizational units, read sensitive attributes from arbitrary directory objects, and redirect account modification actions to unintended objects. For more information see Run an action in Splunk SOAR (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/use-splunk-soar-on-premises/8.6.0/use-the-command-line-interface-to-perform-tasks-in-splunk-soar-on-premises/run-an-action-in-splunk-soar-on-premises). | |||||

| CVE-2026-1498 | 2026-08-10 | N/A | N/A | ||
| An LDAP Injection vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to retrieve sensitive information from a connected LDAP authentication server through an exposed authentication or management web interface. This vulnerability may also allow a remote attacker to authenticate as an LDAP user with a partial identifier if they additionally have that user's valid passphrase. | |||||
| CVE-2026-58222 | 2026-07-30 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| A security flaw combining LDAP filter injection and improper authorization checks was found in Samba Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC). When processing LDAP Compare requests, Samba fails to properly validate user-supplied attribute names and executes the resulting internal database search in a trusted context, bypassing normal Access Control List (ACL) enforcement. An authenticated low-privilege domain user can exploit these flaws to disclose confidential Active Directory attributes that would normally be inaccessible. The disclosed information may be leveraged to derive sensitive authentication material, potentially leading to privilege escalation and complete domain compromise. For example: In deployments configured with Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSAs), an attacker can extract the "msKds-RootKeyData" attribute and derive gMSA passwords offline, potentially leading to complete domain compromise if privileged gMSAs are present. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46745 | 1 Apache | 1 Apache-airflow-providers-fab | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Apache Airflow FAB Auth Manager contains an LDAP filter injection vulnerability (CWE-90) that allows unauthenticated attackers to exfiltrate directory data or bypass authentication. Upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-fab 3.6.4 or later. If immediate upgrade is not possible, disable LDAP authentication until the provider can be updated. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44930 | 1 Apache | 1 Cxf | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |

| CVE-2026-42568 | 2026-07-21 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM | ||
| Yamcs is a mission control framework. Prior to versions 5.13.0 and 5.12.7, an LDAP injection vulnerability exists in `org.yamcs.security.LdapAuthModule` when constructing search filters. The username parameter is inserted directly into the LDAP filter without proper RFC 4515 escaping. Versions 5.13.0 and 5.12.7 patch the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-25560 | 1 Wekan Project | 1 Wekan | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| WeKan versions prior to 8.19 contain an LDAP filter injection vulnerability in LDAP authentication. User-supplied username input is incorporated into LDAP search filters and DN-related values without adequate escaping, allowing an attacker to manipulate LDAP queries during authentication. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39962 | 1 Misp-project | 1 Misp | 2026-06-22 | N/A | 9.6 CRITICAL |
| MISP is an open source threat intelligence and sharing platform. Prior to 2.5.36, improper neutralization of special elements in an LDAP query in ApacheAuthenticate.php allows LDAP injection via an unsanitized username value when ApacheAuthenticate.apacheEnv is configured to use a user-controlled server variable instead of REMOTE_USER (such as in certain proxy setups). An attacker able to control that value can manipulate the LDAP search filter and potentially bypass authentication constraints or cause unauthorized LDAP queries. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.36. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45559 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.9 MEDIUM | ||
| Roxy-WI is a web interface for managing Haproxy, Nginx, Apache and Keepalived servers. In versions 8.2.6.4 and prior, get_ldap_email (app/modules/roxywi/user.py:120-157) builds the LDAP search filter via f-string concatenation. The username URL path parameter is taken verbatim — no checkAjaxInput, no LDAP escape — and inserted, a username like *)(mail=*)(cn=* injects additional clauses, allowing the admin to enumerate or harvest attributes outside the intended record. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44671 | 1 Zitadel | 1 Zitadel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. From 2.71.11 to before 3.4.10 and 4.15.0, a vulnerability was discovered in Zitadel's LDAP identity provider implementation, which fails to properly escape user-provided usernames before incorporating them into LDAP search filters. This allows unauthenticated attackers to perform LDAP Filter Injection during the login process. While this vulnerability does not allow for a full authentication bypass, an attacker can use LDAP metacharacters (such as *, (, )) to perform blind LDAP injection. By observing the different failure (or success) responses, an attacker can systematically enumerate valid usernames and extract sensitive attribute data from the connected LDAP directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.4.10 and 4.15.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40606 | 1 Mitmproxy | 1 Mitmproxy | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.8 MEDIUM |
| mitmproxy is a interactive TLS-capable intercepting HTTP proxy for penetration testers and software developers and mitmweb is a web-based interface for mitmproxy. In mitmproxy 12.2.1 and below, the builtin LDAP proxy authentication does not correctly sanitize the username when querying the LDAP server. This allows a malicious client to bypass authentication. Only mitmproxy instances using the proxyauth option with LDAP are affected. This option is not enabled by default. The vulnerability has been fixed in mitmproxy 12.2.2 and above. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40459 | 1 Pac4j | 1 Pac4j | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| PAC4J is vulnerable to LDAP Injection in multiple methods. A low-privileged remote attacker can inject crafted LDAP syntax into ID-based search parameters, potentially resulting in unauthorized LDAP queries and arbitrary directory operations. This issue was fixed in PAC4J versions 4.5.10, 5.7.10 and 6.4.1 | |||||
| CVE-2026-33751 | 1 N8n | 1 N8n | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.8 MEDIUM |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.27, 2.13.3, and 2.14.1, a flaw in the LDAP node's filter escape logic allowed LDAP metacharacters to pass through unescaped when user-controlled input was interpolated into LDAP search filters. In workflows where external user input is passed via expressions into the LDAP node's search parameters, an attacker could manipulate the constructed filter to retrieve unintended LDAP records or bypass authentication checks implemented in the workflow. Exploitation requires a specific workflow configuration. The LDAP node must be used with user-controlled input passed via expressions (e.g., from a form or webhook). The issue has been fixed in n8n versions 1.123.27, 2.13.3, and 2.14.1. Users should upgrade to one of these versions or later to remediate the vulnerability. If upgrading is not immediately possible, administrators should consider the following temporary mitigations: Limit workflow creation and editing permissions to fully trusted users only, disable the LDAP node by adding `n8n-nodes-base.ldap` to the `NODES_EXCLUDE` environment variable, and/or avoid passing unvalidated external user input into LDAP node search parameters via expressions. These workarounds do not fully remediate the risk and should only be used as short-term mitigation measures. | |||||
