| CVE-2026-54410 | 2026-08-10 | 9.0 HIGH | 8.6 HIGH | ||
| nanoMODBUS through v1.23.0 contains an off-by-one buffer overflow in the recv_msg_header function of the Modbus/TCP server that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to write one attacker-controlled byte past the end of the 260-byte receive buffer by sending a crafted MBAP frame whose Length field is set to 255. | |||||
| CVE-2026-65704 | 1 Ffmpeg | 1 Ffmpeg | 2026-08-07 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| FFmpeg through 8.1.2 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that allows attackers to cause heap corruption by supplying a crafted ffconcat file processed with the -safe 0 flag. The TY demuxer's demux_audio() function decrements packet size without bounds checking, producing a negative size value that is passed to memcpy() in shorten_decode_frame(), where conversion to size_t wraps the value to near SIZE_MAX and triggers reads beyond the source allocation and writes far beyond the Shorten decoder's bitstream buffer. | |||||
| CVE-2024-0646 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-06 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds memory write flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s Transport Layer Security functionality in how a user calls a function splice with a ktls socket as the destination. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system. | |||||

| OpenVPN version 2.1.0 through 2.6.20 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.4 allows attackers via an off-by-one buffer write in the NTLM proxy authentication to potentially cause a crash via a crafted NTLM response from a malicious proxy server | |||||
| CVE-2024-58099 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vmxnet3: Fix packet corruption in vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_frame Andrew and Nikolay reported connectivity issues with Cilium's service load-balancing in case of vmxnet3. If a BPF program for native XDP adds an encapsulation header such as IPIP and transmits the packet out the same interface, then in case of vmxnet3 a corrupted packet is being sent and subsequently dropped on the path. vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_frame() which is called e.g. via vmxnet3_run_xdp() through vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_back() calculates an incorrect DMA address: page = virt_to_page(xdpf->data); tbi->dma_addr = page_pool_get_dma_addr(page) + VMXNET3_XDP_HEADROOM; dma_sync_single_for_device(&adapter->pdev->dev, tbi->dma_addr, buf_size, DMA_TO_DEVICE); The above assumes a fixed offset (VMXNET3_XDP_HEADROOM), but the XDP BPF program could have moved xdp->data. While the passed buf_size is correct (xdpf->len), the dma_addr needs to have a dynamic offset which can be calculated as xdpf->data - (void *)xdpf, that is, xdp->data - xdp->data_hard_start. | |||||

| CVE-2024-58003 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: i2c: ds90ub9x3: Fix extra fwnode_handle_put() The ub913 and ub953 drivers call fwnode_handle_put(priv->sd.fwnode) as part of their remove process, and if the driver is removed multiple times, eventually leads to put "overflow", possibly causing memory corruption or crash. The fwnode_handle_put() is a leftover from commit 905f88ccebb1 ("media: i2c: ds90ub9x3: Fix sub-device matching"), which changed the code related to the sd.fwnode, but missed removing these fwnode_handle_put() calls. | |||||
| CVE-2024-57850 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jffs2: Prevent rtime decompress memory corruption The rtime decompression routine does not fully check bounds during the entirety of the decompression pass and can corrupt memory outside the decompression buffer if the compressed data is corrupted. This adds the required check to prevent this failure mode. | |||||
| CVE-2024-56626 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |

Note that this issue is coming when setting 'vfs objects = streams_xattr parameter' in ksmbd.conf.
| CVE-2024-54456 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFS: Fix potential buffer overflowin nfs_sysfs_link_rpc_client() name is char[64] where the size of clnt->cl_program->name remains unknown. Invoking strcat() directly will also lead to potential buffer overflow. Change them to strscpy() and strncat() to fix potential issues. | |||||
| CVE-2024-53106 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ima: fix buffer overrun in ima_eventdigest_init_common Function ima_eventdigest_init() calls ima_eventdigest_init_common() with HASH_ALGO__LAST which is then used to access the array hash_digest_size[] leading to buffer overrun. Have a conditional statement to handle this. | |||||
| CVE-2024-52319 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: use aligned address in clear_gigantic_page() In current kernel, hugetlb_no_page() calls folio_zero_user() with the fault address. Where the fault address may be not aligned with the huge page size. Then, folio_zero_user() may call clear_gigantic_page() with the address, while clear_gigantic_page() requires the address to be huge page size aligned. So, this may cause memory corruption or information leak, addtional, use more obvious naming 'addr_hint' instead of 'addr' for clear_gigantic_page(). | |||||
| CVE-2024-51729 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |

Where the fault address may be not aligned with the huge page size. Then, copy_user_large_folio() may call copy_user_gigantic_page() with the address, while copy_user_gigantic_page() requires the address to be huge page size aligned. So, this may cause memory corruption or information leak, addtional, use more obvious naming 'addr_hint' instead of 'addr' for copy_user_gigantic_page().
| CVE-2024-50288 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: vivid: fix buffer overwrite when using > 32 buffers The maximum number of buffers that can be requested was increased to 64 for the video capture queue. But video capture used a must_blank array that was still sized for 32 (VIDEO_MAX_FRAME). This caused an out-of-bounds write when using buffer indices >= 32. Create a new define MAX_VID_CAP_BUFFERS that is used to access the must_blank array and set max_num_buffers for the video capture queue. This solves a crash reported by: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=219258 | |||||
| CVE-2024-50230 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix kernel bug due to missing clearing of checked flag Syzbot reported that in directory operations after nilfs2 detects filesystem corruption and degrades to read-only, __block_write_begin_int(), which is called to prepare block writes, may fail the BUG_ON check for accesses exceeding the folio/page size, triggering a kernel bug. This was found to be because the "checked" flag of a page/folio was not cleared when it was discarded by nilfs2's own routine, which causes the sanity check of directory entries to be skipped when the directory page/folio is reloaded. So, fix that. This was necessary when the use of nilfs2's own page discard routine was applied to more than just metadata files. | |||||
| CVE-2024-50206 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: mtk_eth_soc: fix memory corruption during fq dma init The loop responsible for allocating up to MTK_FQ_DMA_LENGTH buffers must only touch as many descriptors, otherwise it ends up corrupting unrelated memory. Fix the loop iteration count accordingly. | |||||
