| CVE-2026-110644 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| nodejs-whisper through 0.3.1 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in convertToWavType() that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying crafted audio file paths. Attackers can provide file names containing $() command substitution or closing quotes, which are interpolated into an ffmpeg command run via shelljs exec(), executing OS commands with Node.js process privileges. | |||||
| CVE-2026-108161 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| FusionPBX through 5.6.5 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in call_recordings::download() that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute commands by placing calls with malicious caller ID values. When the record_name filename template is enabled, attackers can embed shell metacharacters like $(...) in the Caller-ID name or number, executing commands as the web server user once a privileged user downloads multiple recordings as a ZIP. | |||||
| CVE-2026-110638 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| doc-recog through 1.1.6 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying crafted document paths to recog() or tag(). Attackers can embed $(...) or backtick command substitution in the file path, which DocData._readPDF passes to a shell-based pdftotext exec call, running commands with Node.js process privileges. | |||||
| CVE-2026-110643 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| transcribe2texts through 1.0.6 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying crafted audioPath values to transcribeAudio(). Attackers can inject $() or backtick substitution or a closing quote into the unescaped path passed to child_process.exec() to run commands with Node.js process privileges. | |||||
| CVE-2026-110648 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| @offactory/compress-fonts before 1.1.1 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute shell commands by supplying font files with crafted names. Font paths are interpolated unquoted into a FontForge command run through child_process.execSync, so shell metacharacters in file names execute commands with the Node.js process privileges. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45562 | 1 Sangoma | 1 Freepbx | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 7.2 HIGH |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6, the FreePBX Music on Hold (MoH) module contains a critical security flaw that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary system commands with the privileges of the Asterisk service. Authentication with an existing FreePBX administrator account is required. The root cause lies in the fact that the module accepts a POST parameter that defines a custom Asterisk application, which is then stored in the database without any sanitization. Later, this data is written directly to the musiconhold_additional.conf configuration file without validation. Since Asterisk reads this configuration file and executes the specified application, an attacker can inject arbitrary commands that will be executed with Asterisk's permissions. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54674 | 1 Sangoma | 1 Freepbx | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7, users authenticated via User Control Panel (UCP) are able to execute arbitrary commands on the PBX as the webserver user (typically asterisk) using specially crafted HTTP strings. Authenticated access to UCP is required. Note that this is often more common for less-privileged users to have UCP access vs. the Administrator Control Panel (ACP) access (which is usually FreePBX higher-level administrator accounts only). Insufficient sanitization of certain URL parameters utilized by UCP did not fully account for malicious strings in these fields. This could result in binaries being executed on the host server by carefully chaining commands. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7. | |||||
| CVE-2026-111229 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 7.2 HIGH | ||
| pfSense CE 2.7.0 through 2.9.0 contains a command injection vulnerability in services_captiveportal_hasync.php that allows users with only the Captive Portal HA privilege to execute commands as root. Attackers can set backwardsyncip to a malicious XMLRPC server returning connected_users with shell metacharacters in ip or mac fields, which captiveportal_load_pfctl passes unescaped to a pfctl shell command. | |||||
| CVE-2026-111224 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| pfSense CE through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the OpenVPN openvpn.connect_async.sh script that allows authenticated VPN users to execute commands as root via crafted usernames. Attackers authenticated through RADIUS or LDAP can use usernames containing single quotes and shell metacharacters to break out of the eval'd pfctl anchor name on connect or disconnect. | |||||
| CVE-2026-75600 | 1 Sangoma | 1 Freepbx | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to version 17.0.9, authenticated users who are authorized to access the GraphQL api module interface of FreePBX are able to execute arbitrary shell commands. Authenticated access to the api module is required. The PBX API module's documentation generator accepts an authenticated host parameter and uses it to build a shell command. The code path validates the generated OAuth access token before execution, but it does not validate or escape host. Compromise results in authenticated arbitrary shell command execution as the FreePBX web/PBX service user (typically asterisk.). This issue has been patched in version 17.0.9. | |||||
| CVE-2026-111451 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| Wheels CLI 4.0.0 through 4.1.1 insufficiently validates or escapes caller-supplied values and package contents. Deploy release/version/rollback values can execute shell commands on deploy hosts as the SSH user and on the CI runner during builds. Package removal and destroy paths can delete unintended files; package extraction can overwrite other vendor files; generator names can write outside the project or inject executable CFML into generated code. Inputs may originate from CI variables, branch names, packages or an AI agent using the CLI's MCP tools. Also relevant are unencoded display properties in generated scaffold show views since 4.1.0 and in generated admin views, permitting stored XSS, and stale process-ID handling in RustCFML server commands that can terminate an unrelated process. This is fixed in 4.1.2; existing affected generated views also require the documented edit. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54525 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.28, Markdown Preview Enhanced preview-link handling passes a decoded, Markdown-controlled link target to a Windows file-opening helper that invokes child_process.exec with the start command. When a Windows user opens an untrusted Markdown file and clicks a crafted external or unsupported-scheme link, shell metacharacters in the decoded target are interpreted by cmd.exe as command separators, allowing an attacker-selected command to run with the privileges of the current VS Code user. The attack requires one normal preview-link click but does not require malicious workspace configuration, script execution to be enabled, or additional files. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.28. | |||||
| CVE-2026-102059 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in the phone-home daemon (phcd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved on EX Series, SRX Series, and QFX Series allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via a rogue DHCP server. | |||||
| CVE-2026-102031 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability in TACACS of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows a low-privileged TACACS+-authenticated user to execute commands with root privileges when periodic TACACS+ authorization-refresh is enabled. | |||||
| CVE-2026-101978 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability in the bootzd zero-touch provisioning daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series allows an unauthenticated attacker on the management LAN to execute commands as root via a crafted gRPC response. | |||||
| CVE-2026-47359 | 1 Apache | 1 Cloudstack | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's NAS backup provider plugin. The addBackupRepository API (available since 4.20.0.0) and updateBackupRepository API (introduced in 4.22.0.0) accept unsanitized command options for the backup repository. A malicious operator account can exploit this to inject arbitrary commands that execute on the KVM hypervisor host when any account subsequently performs a backup restore. This issue affects Apache CloudStack: from 4.20.0.0 through 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.3.1 or 4.22.1.1 or later, which fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-50112 | 1 Apache | 1 Cloudstack | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| SSRF via Metalink Mirror URL Resolution: An authenticated tenant can register a template pointing to an attacker-controlled metalink file containing internal targets. The Secondary Storage VM will retrieve the data and persist it as a template file, which can later be downloaded through normal APIs. RCE on KVM hypervisor via NFS, Metalink files with/without Direct Downloads: An authenticated CloudStack tenant holding the default User role can execute arbitrary shell commands as root on the KVM hypervisor host that runs other tenants' VMs. This is cross-tenant root on the underlying compute, reachable via the public CloudStack API. When a User registers a VM template with directDownload=true and a URL pointing to a .metalink file, the management server fetches the metalink XML and dispatches download to the KVM agent. Inner URLs inside the metalink XML are never re-validated against the scheme allowlist. These issues affect Apache CloudStack: from 4.14.0.0 through 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.3.1 or 4.22.1.1 or later, which fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-100207 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH | ||
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an os command ('os command injection') in Azure CycleCloud allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally. | |||||
| CVE-2026-12542 | 2 Redhat, Theforeman | 3 Enterprise Linux, Satellite, Foreman | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in Foreman. The foreman-tail utility is vulnerable to OS command injection due to the unsafe use of the eval command. The script takes user-supplied arguments and incorporates them directly into a string that is then executed by eval to expand file paths. Because the input is not sanitized or quoted, a local attacker can inject shell metacharacters (e.g., ;, &, |) to execute arbitrary system commands. | |||||
| CVE-2026-0320 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | N/A | ||
| A command injection vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software enables an authenticated administrator to bypass system restrictions and run arbitrary commands as a root user. To be able to exploit this issue, the user must have access to the PAN-OS management interface. The security risk posed by this issue is significantly minimized by restricting access to the management interface to only trusted internal IP addresses according to our recommended best practice deployment guidelines https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/community-blogs/tips-amp-tricks-how-to-secure-the-management-access-of-your-palo/ba-p/464431 . This issue is applicable to PAN-OS software on PA-Series and VM-Series firewalls and on Panorama (virtual and M-Series). Cloud NGFW and Prisma® Access are not affected by this vulnerability. | |||||
