CVE-2026-39830 1 Golang 1 Crypto 2026-09-16 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
A malicious SSH peer could send unsolicited global request responses to fill an internal buffer, blocking the connection's read loop. The blocked goroutine could not be released by calling Close(), resulting in a resource leak per connection. Unsolicited global responses are now discarded.
CVE-2026-48043 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-09-11 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-codec-http2 prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, the `DelegatingDecompressorFrameListener` class orchestrates HTTP/2 decompression by embedding a per-stream `EmbeddedChannel` that runs the appropriate decompression codec (gzip, deflate, zstd) and forwards decompressed chunks to a wrapped listener. Each decompressed chunk is a pooled `ByteBuf` handed to an anonymous `ChannelInboundHandlerAdapter` tail handler, which becomes the sole owner responsible for releasing it. A remote peer could send frames that would result in the flow-controller throwing and so trigger a resource leak which at the end might take down the whole JVM due OOME. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-77384 2026-09-09 N/A 7.5 HIGH
libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to version 4.2.9, the reservation refresh path in reservation-store.ts reuses the same retimeableSignal but unconditionally registers another abort listener on every refresh. As a result, a remote peer can repeatedly send valid RESERVE requests for the same reservation, causing unbounded listener and closure growth in @libp2p/circuit-relay-v2 relay servers and leading to denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.9.
CVE-2026-73508 2026-09-09 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, io.netty.handler.codec.dns.AbstractDnsRecord, io.netty.handler.codec.dns.DefaultDnsRecordDecoder.decodeRecord(), and io.netty.handler.codec.dns.DnsCodecUtil.decompressDomainName() failed to release retained or newly allocated ByteBuf objects when IDN.toASCII() or encodeDomainName() rejected a malformed domain name, allowing unauthenticated remote DNS packets to leak direct memory incrementally until denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final.
CVE-2026-49343 2026-09-09 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. In versions prior to 1.7.18, the account-data trie syncers are vulnerable to a resource-exhaustion flaw that leaks bounded throttler slots on error paths. In syncDataTrie() (in both userAccountsSyncer.go and kappAccountsSyncer.go), StartProcessing() reserves a slot from the NumGoRoutinesThrottler, but the corresponding EndProcessing() is only called on the success path and on the duplicate-root early return. As a result, any error from trie.NewTrie(), trie.NewTrieSyncer(), or trieSyncer.StartSyncing() (including the network-dependent timeout path) permanently consumes one slot for the lifetime of the throttler. An attacker who can repeatedly cause trie-node sync failures or timeouts during bootstrap can exhaust the bounded throttler, after which further account-data trie syncs stop making progress and SyncAccounts() returns a timeout. Because epoch bootstrap in syncUserAccountsState() and syncKappAccountsState() aborts on any such error, this causes bootstrap to fail, a core availability issue affecting fresh, restarting, or resyncing nodes and validators. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.18.
CVE-2026-73215 2026-09-09 N/A N/A
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.17.0, turnports_allocate_even() in src/apps/relay/turn_ports.c marks the unused odd sibling port as TPS_TAKEN_ODD for an EVEN-PORT Allocate request with reservation bit R=0 even though no RTCP socket will release it, allowing an authenticated client to permanently exhaust the relay port pool and cause subsequent allocations to fail with STUN error 508. This issue is fixed in version 4.17.0.
CVE-2026-48006 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-09-09 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, the RedisArrayAggregator handler permanently leaks pooled direct-memory buffers when a Redis pipeline connection closes before a RESP array aggregate completes. The handler retains child messages in per-handler state (`depths` field) but defines no `channelInactive`, `handlerRemoved`, or `exceptionCaught` method to release them when the pipeline tears down. Because the leaked buffers are slices of `PooledByteBufAllocator` chunks, they prevent those chunks from being returned to the JVM-wide direct-memory pool. Repeated connection churn by any network peer monotonically drains this shared pool, eventually causing allocation failures on all Netty channels in the process. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-72931 2026-09-08 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
Missing release of resource after effective lifetime in Windows Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP) allows an authorized attacker to deny service locally.
CVE-2026-18149 2026-09-08 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
undici's retry handler can leave an already-exposed response body pending forever. When a server returns a successful response that declares a Content-Length, sends only part of the body, and closes the connection, the retry handler retries the request. If the retry returns a non-retryable status such as 400, the handler forwards that new response downstream and replaces its internal response stream, but the original response body that the application still holds is never ended or destroyed. As a result calls that read that body never settle, and the configured body timeout does not fire because its timer is tied to the connection parser rather than the orphaned body. An attacker-controlled server can trigger this with two short responses without keeping a connection open, and repeated requests accumulate pending promises and streams that can exhaust application concurrency or memory. This affects undici versions from 7.11.0 up to 7.29.1 and from 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 7.29.1 or 8.10.2.
CVE-2026-71380 2026-09-08 N/A N/A
Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime vulnerability in Erlang/OTP inets httpd allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause denial of service by sending valid request headers with a large Content-Length and then stalling before the body is complete. httpd_request_handler:handle_info/2 cancels the request timeout as soon as a parse step succeeds, which includes the headers, and the clause that handles a decoder asking for more data re-arms the socket with {active, once} without setting any further timer. httpd_request:whole_body/2 returns such a continuation whenever the bytes received are fewer than the announced Content-Length, so a well-formed request that stops mid-body leaves the worker waiting indefinitely. The periodic byte-rate check that would reclaim it is armed only when minimum_bytes_per_second is configured, which it is not by default. Repeating this across connections occupies every worker permitted by max_clients and denies service to legitimate clients at negligible bandwidth cost. This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 27.3.4.17, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.6, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.6, corresponding to inets from 5.10 before 9.3.2.7, from 9.4 before 9.6.2.3, and from 9.7 before 9.7.2. Whether OTP before OTP 17.0, corresponding to inets before 5.10, is affected is unknown.
CVE-2026-69664 2026-09-08 N/A N/A
Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime vulnerability in Erlang/OTP inets httpd allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause denial of service by sending a request with a chunked body whose chunk-size line is not a hexadecimal number. The worker serving the connection is never released and no timeout reclaims it, so repeating the request across connections occupies every available worker and denies service to legitimate clients. No authentication is required and the default configuration is affected. The chunk-size line must arrive in a write separate from the headers. When the body accompanies the headers, httpd_request_handler:handle_body/3 calls http_chunk:decode/3 inside a try ... catch throw:Error, so the {error, {chunk_size, _}} thrown by http_chunk:decode_size/4 is answered with 400 Bad Request. When the chunk size arrives later, the decoder is resumed through a bare catch in httpd_request_handler:handle_info/2, which converts the throw into a return value rather than raising it; the resulting error tuple is then treated as the next decoder continuation, the socket is re-armed, and the worker waits for data that never comes. The request timeout has already been cancelled at the point the headers were accepted, and the periodic byte-rate check is only armed when minimum_bytes_per_second is configured, which it is not by default. This issue affects OTP from OTP 18.1.4 before OTP 27.3.4.17, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.6, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.6, corresponding to inets from 6.0.3 before 9.3.2.7, from 9.4 before 9.6.2.3, and from 9.7 before 9.7.2.
CVE-2026-13505 2026-09-03 N/A N/A
In Bouncy Castle for Java FIPS (BC-FJA) before bc-fips 1.0.2.7 (1.0.X series), 2.0.2 (2.0.X series) and 2.1.3 (2.1.X series), sensitive key material held by the AES and DESede engines, the SP 800-90A DRBGs, SymmetricSecretKey and the PBKD and scrypt parameter classes was zeroised on garbage collection by overriding Object.finalize. Finalization runs at an unspecified time and in an unspecified order and is serviced by a single finalizer thread, so where objects carrying a finalizer are allocated faster than that thread retires them the pending-finalization queue grows without bound: disposal falls arbitrarily far behind, which can contribute to an OutOfMemoryError under load, and the key material those objects hold stays resident in the heap for as long as they are queued, defeating the purpose of the zeroisation. The behaviour was not a problem on Java 8 or Java 11; it is later JVMs, on which finalization has been deprecated and progressively de-emphasised, where it becomes one. Disposal of these classes now runs from a java.lang.ref.Cleaner registered in the multi-release jdk1.9 overlay, so on Java 9 and later it no longer depends on the finalizer being scheduled. Bouncy Castle for Java (bcprov) and Bouncy Castle for Java LTS are not affected, as neither implements the finalizer-based zeroisation scheme.
CVE-2026-3104 1 Isc 1 Bind 2026-09-01 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A specially crafted domain can be used to cause a memory leak in a BIND resolver simply by querying this domain. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.20.0 through 9.20.20, 9.21.0 through 9.21.19, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.20-S1. BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.46 and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.46-S1 are NOT affected.
CVE-2026-59320 1 Vmware 1 Spring Advanced Message Queuing Protocol 2026-08-31 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
When a container-level ErrorHandler is configured (the mitigation for finding 221000), each delivery whose processing throws still permanently consumes one link credit. After initialCredits (default 100) failing messages the receiver's credit reaches zero and the broker stops delivering, leaving the listener silently stalled while isRunning() remains true. Spring AMQP 4.1.0
CVE-2026-1605 1 Eclipse 1 Jetty 2026-08-27 N/A 7.5 HIGH
In Eclipse Jetty, versions 12.0.0-12.0.31 and 12.1.0-12.0.5, class GzipHandler exposes a vulnerability when a compressed HTTP request, with Content-Encoding: gzip, is processed and the corresponding response is not compressed. This happens because the JDK Inflater is allocated for decompressing the request, but it is not released because the release mechanism is tied to the compressed response. In this case, since the response is not compressed, the release mechanism does not trigger, causing the leak.
CVE-2026-59654 1 Apache 1 Cloudstack 2026-08-27 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's scoped global configuration functionality. It affects different modules and plugins of the CloudStack management server, including Quota, Host-HA, etc., and may lead to eventual denial of service (DoS) scenario for the management server. This issue affects Apache CloudStack: from 4.7.0 through 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.3.1 or 4.22.1.1 or later, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-11811 2026-08-26 N/A 3.7 LOW
The UpdateHub over-the-air update client's start_coap_client() in subsys/mgmt/updatehub/updatehub.c leaks the CoAP/DTLS socket descriptor on its connection-setup failure paths. The shared error: cleanup gated socket closing on a ret > 0 flag, but ret was set to -1 immediately after the socket was created, so when zsock_setsockopt() (DTLS) or zsock_connect() subsequently failed the gate was false and cleanup_connection() was never called. The open descriptor in the global ctx.sock was then overwritten by the next attempt, permanently leaking it from the socket / net_context pool until reboot. The failing setup path is reached every time the OTA client tries to contact the UpdateHub server and the connection cannot be established — driven automatically by the periodic autohandler() poll (and on demand via the updatehub_probe()/updatehub_update() API or the updatehub run shell command). The DTLS handshake/connect outcome is influenceable by a network or on-path attacker who drops, resets, or otherwise disrupts traffic to the server, and also fails naturally whenever the server is unreachable. Each failed attempt permanently leaks one descriptor; once the shared socket pool is exhausted, networking degrades device-wide until the device is rebooted, a denial-of-service condition. Severity is low because the leak rate is bounded by the configured OTA poll interval (default once per 24 hours), the effect is gradual and recovered by reboot, and only builds with the UpdateHub client enabled are affected. There is no memory-corruption, information-disclosure, or authentication impact.
CVE-2026-64607 1 Apache 1 Httpclient 2026-08-13 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
HttpClient based on the classic i/o model fails to correctly release the underlying connection back to the connection manager if it encounters an invalid or unsupported `Content-Encoding` header value in the response message. Please note this defect does not affect HttpClient based on the async i/o model. This issue affects Apache HttpComponents Client: from 5.0-alpha1 through 5.6.2.
CVE-2024-20493 1 Cisco 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
A vulnerability in the login authentication functionality of the Remote Access SSL VPN feature of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to deny further VPN user authentications for several minutes, resulting in a temporary denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to ineffective handling of memory resources during the authentication process. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted packets, which could cause resource exhaustion of the authentication process. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to deny authentication for Remote Access SSL VPN users for several minutes, resulting in a temporary DoS condition.
CVE-2024-20481 1 Cisco 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 N/A 5.8 MEDIUM
A vulnerability in the Remote Access VPN (RAVPN) service of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) of the RAVPN service. This vulnerability is due to resource exhaustion. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of VPN authentication requests to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust resources, resulting in a DoS of the RAVPN service on the affected device. Depending on the impact of the attack, a reload of the device may be required to restore the RAVPN service. Services that are not related to VPN are not affected. Cisco Talos discussed these attacks in the blog post Large-scale brute-force activity targeting VPNs, SSH services with commonly used login credentials.
