| LibHTP is a security-aware parser for the HTTP protocol. Crafted traffic can cause excessive processing time of HTTP headers, leading to denial of service. This issue is addressed in 0.5.46. | |||||
| CVE-2024-23836 | 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf | 2 Fedora, Suricata | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 6.0.16 and 7.0.3, an attacker can craft traffic to cause Suricata to use far more CPU and memory for processing the traffic than needed, which can lead to extreme slow downs and denial of service. This vulnerability is patched in 6.0.16 or 7.0.3. Workarounds include disabling the affected protocol app-layer parser in the yaml and reducing the `stream.reassembly.depth` value helps reduce the severity of the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2024-23835 | 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf | 2 Fedora, Suricata | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to version 7.0.3, excessive memory use during pgsql parsing could lead to OOM-related crashes. This vulnerability is patched in 7.0.3. As workaround, users can disable the pgsql app layer parser. | |||||
| CVE-2024-23826 | 1 Se.math.spbu | 1 Spbu Se Site | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| spbu_se_site is the website of the Department of System Programming of St. Petersburg State University. Before 2024.01.29, when uploading an avatar image, an authenticated user may intentionally use a large Unicode filename which would lead to a server-side denial of service under Windows. This is due to no limitation of the length of the filename and the costly use of the Unicode normalization with the form NFKD on Windows OS. This vulnerability was fixed in the 2024.01.29 release. | |||||
| CVE-2024-23820 | 1 Openfga | 1 Openfga | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| OpenFGA, an authorization/permission engine, is vulnerable to a denial of service attack in versions prior to 1.4.3. In some scenarios that depend on the model and tuples used, a call to `ListObjects` may not release memory properly. So when a sufficiently high number of those calls are executed, the OpenFGA server can create an `out of memory` error and terminate. Version 1.4.3 contains a patch for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2024-23185 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Very large headers can cause resource exhaustion when parsing message. The message-parser normally reads reasonably sized chunks of the message. However, when it feeds them to message-header-parser, it starts building up "full_value" buffer out of the smaller chunks. The full_value buffer has no size limit, so large headers can cause large memory usage. It doesn't matter whether it's a single long header line, or a single header split into multiple lines. This bug exists in all Dovecot versions. Incoming mails typically have some size limits set by MTA, so even largest possible header size may still fit into Dovecot's vsz_limit. So attackers probably can't DoS a victim user this way. A user could APPEND larger mails though, allowing them to DoS themselves (although maybe cause some memory issues for the backend in general). One can implement restrictions on headers on MTA component preceding Dovecot. No publicly available exploits are known. | |||||
| CVE-2024-23184 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.0 MEDIUM | ||
| Having a large number of address headers (From, To, Cc, Bcc, etc.) becomes excessively CPU intensive. With 100k header lines CPU usage is already 12 seconds, and in a production environment we observed 500k header lines taking 18 minutes to parse. Since this can be triggered by external actors sending emails to a victim, this is a security issue. An external attacker can send specially crafted messages that consume target system resources and cause outage. One can implement restrictions on address headers on MTA component preceding Dovecot. No publicly available exploits are known. | |||||
| CVE-2024-22436 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| A security vulnerability in HPE IceWall Agent products could be exploited remotely to cause a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2024-22353 | 1 Ibm | 1 Websphere Application Server | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 24.0.0.4 is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by sending a specially crafted request. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the server to consume memory resources. IBM X-Force ID: 280400. | |||||
| CVE-2024-22255 | 2 Apple, Vmware | 5 Macos, Cloud Foundation, Esxi and 2 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| VMware ESXi, Workstation, and Fusion contain an information disclosure vulnerability in the UHCI USB controller. A malicious actor with administrative access to a virtual machine may be able to exploit this issue to leak memory from the vmx process. | |||||
| CVE-2024-22201 | 3 Debian, Eclipse, Netapp | 4 Debian Linux, Jetty, Active Iq Unified Manager and 1 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Jetty is a Java based web server and servlet engine. An HTTP/2 SSL connection that is established and TCP congested will be leaked when it times out. An attacker can cause many connections to end up in this state, and the server may run out of file descriptors, eventually causing the server to stop accepting new connections from valid clients. The vulnerability is patched in 9.4.54, 10.0.20, 11.0.20, and 12.0.6. | |||||
| CVE-2024-22189 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| quic-go is an implementation of the QUIC protocol in Go. Prior to version 0.42.0, an attacker can cause its peer to run out of memory sending a large number of `NEW_CONNECTION_ID` frames that retire old connection IDs. The receiver is supposed to respond to each retirement frame with a `RETIRE_CONNECTION_ID` frame. The attacker can prevent the receiver from sending out (the vast majority of) these `RETIRE_CONNECTION_ID` frames by collapsing the peers congestion window (by selectively acknowledging received packets) and by manipulating the peer's RTT estimate. Version 0.42.0 contains a patch for the issue. No known workarounds are available. | |||||
| CVE-2024-22164 | 1 Splunk | 1 Enterprise Security | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| In Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) versions below 7.1.2, an attacker can use investigation attachments to perform a denial of service (DoS) to the Investigation. The attachment endpoint does not properly limit the size of the request which lets an attacker cause the Investigation to become inaccessible. | |||||
| CVE-2024-22091 | 1 Mattermost | 1 Mattermost Server | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 3.1 LOW |
| Mattermost versions 8.1.x <= 8.1.10, 9.6.x <= 9.6.0, 9.5.x <= 9.5.2 and 8.1.x <= 8.1.11 fail to limit the size of a request path that includes user inputs which allows an attacker to cause excessive resource consumption, possibly leading to a DoS via sending large request paths | |||||
| CVE-2024-21994 | 1 Netapp | 1 Storagegrid | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| StorageGRID (formerly StorageGRID Webscale) versions prior to 11.9 are susceptible to a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability. Successful exploit by an authenticated attacker could lead to a service crash. | |||||

Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated | |||||
| CVE-2024-21658 | 1 Discourse | 1 Discourse Calendar | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| discourse-calendar is a discourse plugin which adds the ability to create a dynamic calendar in the first post of a topic. The limit on region value length is too generous. This allows a malicious actor to cause a Discourse instance to use excessive bandwidth and disk space. This issue has been patched in main the main branch. There are no workarounds for this vulnerability. Please upgrade as soon as possible. | |||||
| CVE-2024-21655 | 1 Discourse | 1 Discourse | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| Discourse is a platform for community discussion. For fields that are client editable, limits on sizes are not imposed. This allows a malicious actor to cause a Discourse instance to use excessive disk space and also often excessive bandwidth. The issue is patched 3.1.4 and 3.2.0.beta4. | |||||
| CVE-2024-21634 | 1 Amazon | 1 Ion | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Amazon Ion is a Java implementation of the Ion data notation. Prior to version 1.10.5, a potential denial-of-service issue exists in `ion-java` for applications that use `ion-java` to deserialize Ion text encoded data, or deserialize Ion text or binary encoded data into the `IonValue` model and then invoke certain `IonValue` methods on that in-memory representation. An actor could craft Ion data that, when loaded by the affected application and/or processed using the `IonValue` model, results in a `StackOverflowError` originating from the `ion-java` library. The patch is included in `ion-java` 1.10.5. As a workaround, do not load data which originated from an untrusted source or that could have been tampered with. | |||||
