CVE-2026-53423 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in membraneframework membrane_mp4_plugin allows unauthenticated denial-of-service via BEAM atom table exhaustion. The MP4 box header parser converts each 4-byte box name to an atom using String.to_atom/1 without validation. 'Elixir.Membrane.MP4.Container.Header':parse_box_name/1 in lib/membrane_mp4/container/header.ex interns every box name encountered while 'Elixir.Membrane.MP4.Container.Header':parse/1 walks the input. BEAM atoms are never garbage-collected, so each unique attacker-controlled 4-byte name is a permanent allocation. A crafted MP4 of approximately 8 MB containing roughly 1.1 million boxes with distinct non-standard names exhausts the atom table (default ceiling around 1,048,576 atoms), aborting the entire BEAM node and taking down all applications running on it. This issue affects membrane_mp4_plugin from 0.3.0 before 0.36.7.
CVE-2026-50560 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, Netty HTTP/2 max header size handling produces an attack similar to HTTP/2 Rapid Reset. There is a setting in the http2 specification called `SETTINGS_MAX_HEADER_LIST_SIZE`. When a client sends that setting to Netty, it appears that Netty will behave as follows: read the request; proxy the request to the origin; attempt to produce a response; and create an exception while writing the headers for the response. Functionally, this should be similar to the http2 reset attack, but with a different on-the-wire signature. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-49347 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
Quest Bot is an opensource Discord Bot. Prior to version 1.1.8, any user who can access the ticket panel can repeatedly create new ticket channels. The latest release still creates a new database ticket and Discord channel for every completed ticket modal submission, without checking whether the same user already has an open ticket and without applying a cooldown. This issue has been patched in version 1.1.8.
CVE-2026-48854 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-grpc grpc allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust the BEAM's memory and crash the server by streaming a large or slow-trickle unary request body. 'Elixir.GRPC.Server.Adapters.Cowboy.Handler':read_full_body/3 (lib/grpc/server/adapters/cowboy/handler.ex) accumulates every received chunk into a single growing binary with no size cap. Additionally, when the client omits the grpc-timeout header, the per-chunk read timeout resolves to :infinity, allowing a slow-trickle client to keep the connection alive indefinitely while memory grows. A single connection is sufficient to exhaust server memory and crash the node. This issue affects grpc from 0.3.1 before 1.0.0.
CVE-2026-48853 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
Deserialization of Untrusted Data and Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerabilities in elixir-grpc grpc allow unauthenticated attackers to crash the BEAM node via atom table exhaustion and, when a decoded term flows into a call site that invokes it, achieve remote code execution on the server. 'Elixir.GRPC.Codec.Erlpack':decode/2 (lib/grpc/codec/erlpack.ex) calls :erlang.binary_to_term/1 on the raw gRPC message body without the :safe option, no size bound, and no type guard. Any unauthenticated peer that sends a request with Content-Type: application/grpc+erlpack can send a crafted payload that mints arbitrary new atoms (which are never garbage-collected, exhausting the bounded atom table and crashing the VM) or that encodes a fun term which, if applied anywhere downstream, executes attacker-controlled code inside the server process. This issue affects grpc from 0.4.0 before 1.0.0.
CVE-2026-48735 1 Pypdf Project 1 Pypdf 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.12.1, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to large memory usage. This requires parsing large XMP metadata, possibly with lots of unnecessary elements. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.12.1.
CVE-2026-45802 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
FPDI is a collection of PHP classes that facilitate reading pages from existing PDF documents and using them as templates in FPDF. Prior to version 2.6.7, an attacker can upload a small, malicious PDF file that will cause the server-side script to crash due to memory exhaustion or a script time-out. Repeated attacks can lead to sustained service unavailability. This issue has been patched in version 2.6.7.
CVE-2026-45290 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Cloudburst Network provides network components used within Cloudburst projects. A vulnerability in versions prior to `1.0.0.CR3-20260417.085727-30` impacts publicly accessible software depending on the affected versions of Network and allows an attacker to exploit a vulnerability in Network to stall the netty event loop, rendering it inoperable. All consumers of the library should upgrade to at least version `1.0.0.CR3-20260417.085727-30`. There are no known workarounds beyond updating the library.
CVE-2026-45078 1 Element 1 Synapse 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
Synapse is an open source Matrix homeserver implementation. Prior to 1.152.1, local authenticated users can cause Synapse to starve other requests of CPU and lead to other requests failing, causing other users to be denied service. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.152.1.
CVE-2026-44931 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
The newly introduced RecordUsage D-Bus method https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pwithnall/malcontent/-/blob/0.14.0/libmalcontent-timer/child-timer-service.c in malcontent-timerd allows arbitrary users in the system to slowly fill up disk space in /var/lib/malcontent-timerd
CVE-2026-44679 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
Tuist is a virtual platform team for Swift app devs. Prior to 1.180.10, the forgot password flow allows an unauthenticated attacker to repeatedly trigger password reset emails for a known account without server-side throttling. In self-hosted deployments, this can be abused to send large volumes of unwanted email and consume downstream email delivery resources. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.180.10.
CVE-2026-44500 1 Zfnd 3 Zebra-chain, Zebra-network, Zebrad 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to zebrad version 4.4.0, prior to zebra-chain version 7.0.0, and prior to zebra-network version 6.0.0, several inbound deserialization paths in Zebra allocated buffers sized against generic transport or block-size ceilings before the tighter protocol or consensus limits were enforced. An unauthenticated or post-handshake peer could therefore force the node to preallocate and parse for orders of magnitude more data than the protocol intended, across headers messages, equihash solutions in block headers, Sapling spend vectors in V5/V4 transactions, and coinbase script bytes in blocks. This issue has been patched in zebrad version 4.4.0, zebra-chain version 7.0.0, and zebra-network version 6.0.0.
CVE-2026-44499 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to version 4.4.0, a composite denial-of-service vulnerability in Zebra's block discovery pipeline allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to permanently halt all new block discovery on a targeted node. The attack exploits three independent weaknesses in the gossip, syncer, and download subsystems — all exercisable from a single TCP connection — to create a monotonically growing block deficit that never self-heals. This issue has been patched in version 4.4.0.
CVE-2026-44247 1 Linuxfoundation 1 Volcano 2026-06-17 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
Volcano is a Kubernetes-native batch scheduling system. Prior to v1.14.2, v1.13.3, and v1.12.4, the Volcano webhook server does not enforce a size limit on incoming HTTP request bodies. Any in-cluster pod that can reach the webhook endpoint may send an arbitrarily large request body, potentially causing the webhook server to be killed by OOM. All Volcano deployments with the webhook server exposed to in-cluster traffic are affected. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.14.2, v1.13.3, and v1.12.4.
CVE-2026-44240 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
basic-ftp is an FTP client for Node.js. Prior to 5.3.1, basic-ftp is vulnerable to client-side denial of service when parsing FTP control-channel multiline responses. A malicious or compromised FTP server can send an unterminated multiline response during the initial FTP banner phase, before authentication. The client keeps appending attacker-controlled data into FtpContext._partialResponse and repeatedly reparses the accumulated buffer without enforcing a maximum control response size. As a result, an application using basic-ftp can remain stuck in connect() while memory and CPU usage grow under attacker-controlled input. This can lead to process-level denial of service, container OOM kills, worker restarts, queue backlog, or service degradation in applications that automatically connect to FTP endpoints. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.3.1.
CVE-2026-44219 2026-06-17 N/A 3.7 LOW
ciguard is a static security auditor for CI/CD pipelines. From 0.6.0 to 0.8.1, both SCA HTTP clients (src/ciguard/analyzer/sca/osv.py and src/ciguard/analyzer/sca/endoflife.py) call payload = json.loads(resp.read().decode('utf-8')) without a maximum-bytes cap. A hostile or compromised endoflife.date / OSV.dev (or a successful TLS MITM) could return a multi-GB response, exhausting the ciguard process's memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.2.
CVE-2026-43507 1 Prosody 1 Prosody 2026-06-17 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in Prosody before 0.12.6 and 1.0.0 through 13.0.0 before 13.0.5. A Denial of Service can occur via memory exhaustion caused by XML parsing resource amplification from unauthenticated connections.
CVE-2026-42793 1 Absinthe-graphql 1 Absinthe 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in absinthe-graphql absinthe allows unauthenticated denial of service via atom table exhaustion when parsing attacker-controlled GraphQL SDL. Multiple Blueprint.Draft.convert/2 implementations in Absinthe's SDL language modules call String.to_atom/1 on attacker-controlled names from parsed GraphQL SDL documents, including directive names, field names, type names, and argument names. Because atoms are never garbage-collected and the BEAM atom table has a fixed limit (default 1,048,576), each unique name permanently consumes one slot. An attacker can exhaust the atom table by submitting SDL documents containing enough unique names, causing the Erlang VM to abort with system_limit and taking down the entire node. Any application that passes attacker-controlled GraphQL SDL through Absinthe's parser is exposed — for example, a schema-upload endpoint, a federation gateway that ingests remote SDL, or any developer tool that runs the parser over user-supplied documents. This issue affects absinthe: from 1.5.0 before 1.10.2.
CVE-2026-42788 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows unauthenticated memory exhaustion via oversized HTTP/2 frames. 'Elixir.Bandit.HTTP2.Frame':deserialize/2 in lib/bandit/http2/frame.ex checks the SETTINGS_MAX_FRAME_SIZE limit only after pattern-matching payload::binary-size(length), which requires the entire frame body to be present in memory before either the accept or reject clause can fire. A peer that announces a frame length up to the 24-bit maximum (~16 MiB) causes the server to buffer that entire body before the size guard is evaluated, regardless of the max_frame_size negotiated during the HTTP/2 handshake (default 16 KiB per RFC 9113). An unauthenticated attacker holding many concurrent connections can force the server to buffer far more memory than the negotiated frame size limit should permit, leading to memory pressure and potential denial of service. This issue affects bandit: from 0.3.6 before 1.11.0.
CVE-2026-42786 2026-06-17 N/A N/A
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows unauthenticated remote denial of service via memory exhaustion. The fragment reassembly path in 'Elixir.Bandit.WebSocket.Connection':handle_frame/3 in lib/bandit/websocket/connection.ex appends every incoming Continuation{fin: false} frame's payload to a per-connection iolist with no cumulative size cap. The existing max_frame_size option only bounds individual frames; a peer that streams an unbounded number of continuation frames without ever setting fin=1 grows BEAM heap linearly until the OS or a supervisor kills the process. Because the accumulation happens before WebSock.handle_in/2 is called, the application has no opportunity to interpose a size check. Phoenix Channels and LiveView both run over WebSock on Bandit, so a stock Phoenix application exposes this surface as soon as it accepts socket connections. This issue affects bandit: from 0.5.0 before 1.11.0.
