| CVE-2026-66920 | 2026-07-30 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Pivotick contains an uncontrolled-recursion vulnerability when processing caller-supplied graph and node data. The affected graph algorithms recursively traversed graph edges, while the JSON viewer recursively processed each level of a node’s data structure. A specially crafted graph containing an excessively long path, deeply nested properties, or circular object references could therefore exhaust the JavaScript call stack when Pivotick calculates a layout or displays a node in the inspection modal. Successful exploitation may cause an uncaught exception, freeze the affected page, or crash the browser tab, resulting in a client-side denial of service. No confidentiality or integrity impact has been identified. The patch replaces the recursive graph traversals with iterative stack-based implementations and limits the reachability calculation to 1,000,000 edge traversals. It also limits JSON rendering to 64 levels and detects circular references before descending further into an object. | |||||

| CVE-2025-38614 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eventpoll: Fix semi-unbounded recursion Ensure that epoll instances can never form a graph deeper than EP_MAX_NESTS+1 links. Currently, ep_loop_check_proc() ensures that the graph is loop-free and does some recursion depth checks, but those recursion depth checks don't limit the depth of the resulting tree for two reasons: - They don't look upwards in the tree. - If there are multiple downwards paths of different lengths, only one of the paths is actually considered for the depth check since commit 28d82dc1c4ed ("epoll: limit paths"). Essentially, the current recursion depth check in ep_loop_check_proc() just serves to prevent it from recursing too deeply while checking for loops. A more thorough check is done in reverse_path_check() after the new graph edge has already been created; this checks, among other things, that no paths going upwards from any non-epoll file with a length of more than 5 edges exist. However, this check does not apply to non-epoll files. As a result, it is possible to recurse to a depth of at least roughly 500, tested on v6.15. (I am unsure if deeper recursion is possible; and this may have changed with commit 8c44dac8add7 ("eventpoll: Fix priority inversion problem").) To fix it: 1. In ep_loop_check_proc(), note the subtree depth of each visited node, and use subtree depths for the total depth calculation even when a subtree has already been visited. 2. Add ep_get_upwards_depth_proc() for similarly determining the maximum depth of an upwards walk. 3. In ep_loop_check(), use these values to limit the total path length between epoll nodes to EP_MAX_NESTS edges. | |||||

| CVE-2026-17501 | 2026-07-29 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw has been found in ggml-org llama.cpp e15efe0. This vulnerability affects the function transform of the file common/json-schema-to-grammar.cpp of the component JSON-Schema-to-GBNF Conversion. This manipulation causes uncontrolled recursion. The attack may be initiated remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41311 | 1 Liquidjs | 1 Liquidjs | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to version 10.25.7, a circular block reference in {% layout %} / {% block %} causes an infinite recursive loop, consuming all available memory (~4GB) and crashing the Node.js process with FATAL ERROR: JavaScript heap out of memory. This allows any user who can submit a Liquid template to perform a Denial of Service attack. This issue has been patched in version 10.25.7. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39376 | 1 Kagi | 1 Fastfeedparser | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| FastFeedParser is a high performance RSS, Atom and RDF parser. Prior to 0.5.10, when parse() fetches a URL that returns an HTML page containing a <meta http-equiv="refresh"> tag, it recursively calls itself with the redirect URL — with no depth limit, no visited-URL deduplication, and no redirect count cap. An attacker-controlled server that returns an infinite chain of HTML meta-refresh responses causes unbounded recursion, exhausting the Python call stack and crashing the process. This vulnerability can also be chained with the companion SSRF issue to reach internal network targets after bypassing the initial URL check. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.5.10. | |||||
| CVE-2026-47317 | 1 Samsung | 1 Escargot | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |

| CVE-2026-44844 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | N/A | ||
| eml_parser serves as a python module for parsing eml files and returning various information found in the e-mail as well as computed information. Prior to 3.0.1, EmlParser.get_raw_body_text() recurses unconditionally for every nested message/rfc822 attachment without any depth limit. An attacker who can supply a badly crafted EML file with approximately 120 nested message/rfc822 parts triggers an unhandled RecursionError and aborts parsing of the message. A 12 KB EML file is enough to crash a worker. Though this causes the parser to crash, it is an unlikely scenario as the suggested EML that crashes the parser would not pass basic RFC compliance tests. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.0.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-7453 | 1 Autodesk | 1 3ds Max | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A maliciously crafted WRL file, when parsed through Autodesk 3ds Max, can cause a Stack Exhaustion vulnerability, leading to a denial-of-service condition. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53329 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Use krealloc_array() in dal_vector_reserve() [Why & How] dal_vector_reserve() computes the allocation size as "capacity * vector->struct_size" using uint32_t arithmetic, which can silently wrap to a small value on overflow. This would cause krealloc to return a smaller buffer than expected, leading to heap overflows on subsequent vector appends. Replace krealloc() with krealloc_array() which performs an internal overflow check and returns NULL on wrap, preventing the issue. | CVE-2026-63759 | 1 Surrealdb | 1 Surrealdb | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| SurrealDB before 3.1.0 fails to enforce recursion depth limits in the type/kind parser when processing nested type annotations. Authenticated attackers can send queries with deeply nested type annotations to exhaust server memory and crash the process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-9358 | 2026-07-23 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 4.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability was determined in postcss-selector-parser up to 6.1.2/7.1.2. Affected is the function toString of the file src/selectors/container.js of the component AST Serialization. Executing a manipulation can lead to uncontrolled recursion. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Upgrading to version 6.1.3 and 7.1.3 is able to address this issue. This patch is called 5bc698cef66f8abd12610dc623e5d67cbc0f869d. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The vendor explains, that according to his definition "DoS on server-side on user-generated CSS is low risk for us (since most users compile own CSS with PostCSS)." The commits were backported to 6.x branch, which was the most downloaded version. | |||||
| CVE-2026-9740 | 1 Mongodb | 1 Mongodb | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A vulnerability in MongoDB Server's BSON validation logic allows an unauthenticated user to crash the mongod process by sending a specially crafted message. The BSON validator's handling of certain nested binary data structures permits uncontrolled mutual recursion between validation functions, where each re-entry resets internal depth tracking. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48734 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-49 and 7.1.2-24, a crafted MVG file could result in a stack overflow due to a missing depth or visited-set check. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-49 and 7.1.2-24. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46689 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Kanidm is an identity management platform. Prior to version 1.9.3, a single unauthenticated GET to any /scim/v1/... endpoint with a ?filter= query string of a few thousand nested parentheses (≈ 4–12 KB) drives the recursive-descent PEG parser past the worker thread's stack guard page. Rust responds to stack overflow with std::process::abort() — the entire kanidmd process exits. The parse runs inside axum's Query<ScimEntryGetQuery> extractor, before any handler body and therefore before any ACL check. This issue has been patched in version 1.9.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45664 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22, because of a missing check in the MNG coder it would be possible to read more images than the list limit policy would allow resulting in excessive resource use. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46373 | 1 Sqlfluff | 1 Sqlfluff | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| SQLFluff is a modular SQL linter and auto-formatter with support for multiple dialects and templated code. Prior to version 4.1.0, in deployments where untrusted users can provide SQL queries to be linted, an untrusted user can submit a malicious query with deliberate excessive nesting to any application using the parser to trigger a Denial of Service through resource exhaustion. This issue has been patched in version 4.1.0. | |||||
