| CVE-2026-43460 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: rockchip-sfc: Fix double-free in remove() callback The driver uses devm_spi_register_controller() for registration, which automatically unregisters the controller via devm cleanup when the device is removed. The manual call to spi_unregister_controller() in the remove() callback can lead to a double-free. And to make sure controller is unregistered before DMA buffer is unmapped, switch to use spi_register_controller() in probe(). | |||||
| CVE-2026-43328 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpufreq: governor: fix double free in cpufreq_dbs_governor_init() error path When kobject_init_and_add() fails, cpufreq_dbs_governor_init() calls kobject_put(&dbs_data->attr_set.kobj). The kobject release callback cpufreq_dbs_data_release() calls gov->exit(dbs_data) and kfree(dbs_data), but the current error path then calls gov->exit(dbs_data) and kfree(dbs_data) again, causing a double free. Keep the direct kfree(dbs_data) for the gov->init() failure path, but after kobject_init_and_add() has been called, let kobject_put() handle the cleanup through cpufreq_dbs_data_release(). | |||||
| CVE-2026-43278 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm: clear cloned request bio pointer when last clone bio completes Stale rq->bio values have been observed to cause double-initialization of cloned bios in request-based device-mapper targets, leading to use-after-free and double-free scenarios. One such case occurs when using dm-multipath on top of a PCIe NVMe namespace, where cloned request bios are freed during blk_complete_request(), but rq->bio is left intact. Subsequent clone teardown then attempts to free the same bios again via blk_rq_unprep_clone(). The resulting double-free path looks like: nvme_pci_complete_batch() nvme_complete_batch() blk_mq_end_request_batch() blk_complete_request() // called on a DM clone request bio_endio() // first free of all clone bios ... rq->end_io() // end_clone_request() dm_complete_request(tio->orig) dm_softirq_done() dm_done() dm_end_request() blk_rq_unprep_clone() // second free of clone bios Fix this by clearing the clone request's bio pointer when the last cloned bio completes, ensuring that later teardown paths do not attempt to free already-released bios. | |||||
| CVE-2026-43276 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: Fix double destroy_workqueue on service rescan PCI path While testing corner cases in the driver, a use-after-free crash was found on the service rescan PCI path. When mana_serv_reset() calls mana_gd_suspend(), mana_gd_cleanup() destroys gc->service_wq. If the subsequent mana_gd_resume() fails with -ETIMEDOUT or -EPROTO, the code falls through to mana_serv_rescan() which triggers pci_stop_and_remove_bus_device(). This invokes the PCI .remove callback (mana_gd_remove), which calls mana_gd_cleanup() a second time, attempting to destroy the already- freed workqueue. Fix this by NULL-checking gc->service_wq in mana_gd_cleanup() and setting it to NULL after destruction. | CVE-2026-43260 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: Fix RSS context delete logic We need to free the corresponding RSS context VNIC in FW everytime an RSS context is deleted in driver. Commit 667ac333dbb7 added a check to delete the VNIC in FW only when netif_running() is true to help delete RSS contexts with interface down. Having that condition will make the driver leak VNICs in FW whenever close() happens with active RSS contexts. On the subsequent open(), as part of RSS context restoration, we will end up trying to create extra VNICs for which we did not make any reservation. FW can fail this request, thereby making us lose active RSS contexts. Suppose an RSS context is deleted already and we try to process a delete request again, then the HWRM functions will check for validity of the request and they simply return if the resource is already freed. So, even for delete-when-down cases, netif_running() check is not necessary. Remove the netif_running() condition check when deleting an RSS context. | |||||

| CVE-2026-43196 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: ti: pruss: Fix double free in pruss_clk_mux_setup() In the pruss_clk_mux_setup(), the devm_add_action_or_reset() indirectly calls pruss_of_free_clk_provider(), which calls of_node_put(clk_mux_np) on the error path. However, after the devm_add_action_or_reset() returns, the of_node_put(clk_mux_np) is called again, causing a double free. Fix by returning directly, to avoid the duplicate of_node_put(). | |||||
| CVE-2026-43128 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/umem: Fix double dma_buf_unpin in failure path In ib_umem_dmabuf_get_pinned_with_dma_device(), the call to ib_umem_dmabuf_map_pages() can fail. If this occurs, the dmabuf is immediately unpinned but the umem_dmabuf->pinned flag is still set. Then, when ib_umem_release() is called, it calls ib_umem_dmabuf_revoke() which will call dma_buf_unpin() again. Fix this by removing the immediate unpin upon failure and just let the ib_umem_release/revoke path handle it. This also ensures the proper unmap-unpin unwind ordering if the dmabuf_map_pages call happened to fail due to dma_resv_wait_timeout (and therefore has a non-NULL umem_dmabuf->sgt). | |||||
| CVE-2026-43120 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/irdma: Fix double free related to rereg_user_mr If IB_MR_REREG_TRANS is set during rereg_user_mr, the umem will be released and a new one will be allocated in irdma_rereg_mr_trans. If any step of irdma_rereg_mr_trans fails after the new umem is allocated, it releases the umem, but does not set iwmr->region to NULL. The problem is that this failure is propagated to the user, who will then call ibv_dereg_mr (as they should). Then, the dereg_mr path will see a non-NULL umem and attempt to call ib_umem_release again. Fix this by setting iwmr->region to NULL after ib_umem_release. Fixed: 5ac388db27c4 ("RDMA/irdma: Add support to re-register a memory region") | |||||

| CVE-2026-43007 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/qaic: Handle DBC deactivation if the owner went away When a DBC is released, the device sends a QAIC_TRANS_DEACTIVATE_FROM_DEV transaction to the host over the QAIC_CONTROL MHI channel. QAIC handles this by calling decode_deactivate() to release the resources allocated for that DBC. Since that handling is done in the qaic_manage_ioctl() context, if the user goes away before receiving and handling the deactivation, the host will be out-of-sync with the DBCs available for use, and the DBC resources will not be freed unless the device is removed. If another user loads and requests to activate a network, then the device assigns the same DBC to that network, QAIC will "indefinitely" wait for dbc->in_use = false, leading the user process to hang. As a solution to this, handle QAIC_TRANS_DEACTIVATE_FROM_DEV transactions that are received after the user has gone away. | |||||

| CVE-2026-31787 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/privcmd: fix double free via VMA splitting privcmd_vm_ops defines .close (privcmd_close), but neither .may_split nor .open. When userspace does a partial munmap() on a privcmd mapping, the kernel splits the VMA via __split_vma(). Since may_split is NULL, the split is allowed. vm_area_dup() copies vm_private_data (a pages array allocated in alloc_empty_pages()) into the new VMA without any fixup, because there is no .open callback. Both VMAs now point to the same pages array. When the unmapped portion is closed, privcmd_close() calls: - xen_unmap_domain_gfn_range() - xen_free_unpopulated_pages() - kvfree(pages) The surviving VMA still holds the dangling pointer. When it is later destroyed, the same sequence runs again, which leads to a double free. Fix this issue by adding a .may_split callback denying the VMA split. This is XSA-487 / CVE-2026-31787 | |||||
