Race condition in Mobile in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-87523 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-09 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Race condition in DataTransfer in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
CVE-2026-69804 1 Microsoft 1 Sharepoint Server 2026-09-09 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-4878 2 Libcap Project, Redhat 3 Libcap, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform 2026-09-09 N/A 6.7 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in libcap. A local unprivileged user can exploit a Time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the `cap_set_file()` function. This allows an attacker with write access to a parent directory to redirect file capability updates to an attacker-controlled file. By doing so, capabilities can be injected into or stripped from unintended executables, leading to privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-69779 2026-09-09 N/A 7.0 HIGH
Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Win32K allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-69563 2026-09-09 N/A 7.0 HIGH
Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Program Compatibility Assistant Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-69440 2026-09-09 N/A 7.0 HIGH
Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows MIDI Service Module allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-18567 1 Ibm 1 Db2 Mirror For I 2026-09-08 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
IBM Db2 Mirror for i 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6 could allow a local attacker to obtain information due to a race condition involving a predictable Unix domain socket path in a world-writable directory.
CVE-2026-73410 2026-09-08 N/A 8.5 HIGH
Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.40.0, packages/backend-core/src/utils/outboundFetch.ts pinned a validated address through a Node agent, but the REST integration used getDispatcher from packages/backend-core/src/utils/fetch.ts, causing undici to ignore that agent and resolve the hostname again. A builder could use DNS rebinding to make packages/server/src/integrations/rest.ts connect to an internal address after a public address passed validation, with full response access and arbitrary REST methods. The fix adds createPinnedLookup support to the undici dispatcher and passes the validated address to custom fetch implementations. This issue is fixed in version 3.40.0.
CVE-2026-70667 2026-09-08 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.3, _validate_revocation_url in lemur/certificates/verify.py checked the original CRL or OCSP URL but the later request could reach a different destination. The CRL requests.get call followed HTTP redirects without validating each Location target, so a public attacker-controlled URL could redirect to loopback, RFC1918, link-local, or instance-metadata addresses. Validation and connection also performed separate DNS resolutions, creating a time-of-check time-of-use window for DNS rebinding on both CRL and OCSP paths. An operator uploading a certificate through POST /api/1/certificates/upload could therefore induce blind internal requests despite the earlier mitigation. The fix disables redirects and pins validated addresses while preserving the correct Host value. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.3.
CVE-2026-55524 2026-09-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions prior to 1.6.58, the web_crawl tool performs its SSRF check only on the initially supplied URL, allowing the protection to be bypassed so the tool connects to attacker-chosen internal destinations. The check resolves the hostname once with socket.gethostbyname and rejects private/loopback/link-local results, but then passes the URL to a fetcher using httpx.Client(follow_redirects=True) (or urllib.request.urlopen when httpx is absent, which also follows redirects) that re-resolves the hostname at connect time with no further validation. This validate-here/fetch-there gap is exploitable through both HTTP redirects and DNS rebinding. If an attacker can influence URLs passed to web_crawl(), directly or through an agent/tool workflow, they can cause the PraisonAI host to fetch loopback, private-network, or cloud metadata endpoints reachable from that host, with the response body returned in the web_crawl() result. This issue has been fixed in version 1.6.58.
CVE-2026-47746 2026-09-08 N/A N/A
Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. Versions 12.37.0 and later, but prior to 2026.5.4, are vulnerable to timing attacks during JSON-LD signature validation and the compaction process. Because the JSON-LD parsing context is not shared between signature verification and subsequent processing, the application may trust information that should not be trusted, resulting in a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) flaw. This allows an attacker to have fraudulent activities accepted as valid, leading to a loss of integrity. This issue has been fixed in version 2026.5.4.
CVE-2026-70597 2026-09-08 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.8, 40.9.0, 41.2.1, and 42.0.0-beta.3, the check Electron uses on macOS to confirm it was launched by a same-signed parent process could be bypassed by a local process. Apps that enable fuse-based hardening restricting ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE and NODE_OPTIONS to same-signed parents rely on this check, and a local attacker could bypass it and run code inside the signed app, inheriting its TCC permissions and keychain access. This issue is fixed in 39.8.8, 40.9.0, 41.2.1, and 42.0.0-beta.3.
CVE-2026-54020 2026-09-08 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. Prior to 0.11.0, Open WebUI resolved a hostname during URL validation and rejected private, loopback, and link-local addresses, but the HTTP clients resolved the hostname again at connection time. An authenticated attacker who controlled authoritative DNS for a submitted hostname could answer with a public address during validation and an internal one during connection, reaching cloud metadata, loopback admin APIs, or internal services through URL ingest, chat image_url fetches, image editing, or OAuth profile-picture fetches, with most paths returning the response to the attacker and the OAuth path forwarding the OAuth access token. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.
CVE-2026-53796 2026-09-08 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
rsync before 3.5.0 contains a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition vulnerability in the non-daemon receiver's destination directory handling that allows an attacker who can manipulate destination path parent components to redirect file writes to unintended locations. Attackers can substitute a symlink for a component of the destination path between the path resolution and chdir() call, causing the receiver's working directory to be established outside the intended destination tree so that subsequent relative-path file writes land in unintended filesystem locations.
CVE-2026-76925 2026-09-08 N/A 5.8 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in Flatpak. A Time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition exists in the `org.freedesktop.Flatpak.SystemHelper` component. This vulnerability occurs because a privileged `chmod` operation executes before the OSTree repository validation within the `Deploy()` function. An attacker can exploit this timing window to redirect symlinks to arbitrary files, potentially leading to unauthorized file manipulation or information disclosure.
CVE-2025-38352 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-cpu-timers: fix race between handle_posix_cpu_timers() and posix_cpu_timer_del() If an exiting non-autoreaping task has already passed exit_notify() and calls handle_posix_cpu_timers() from IRQ, it can be reaped by its parent or debugger right after unlock_task_sighand(). If a concurrent posix_cpu_timer_del() runs at that moment, it won't be able to detect timer->it.cpu.firing != 0: cpu_timer_task_rcu() and/or lock_task_sighand() will fail. Add the tsk->exit_state check into run_posix_cpu_timers() to fix this. This fix is not needed if CONFIG_POSIX_CPU_TIMERS_TASK_WORK=y, because exit_task_work() is called before exit_notify(). But the check still makes sense, task_work_add(&tsk->posix_cputimers_work.work) will fail anyway in this case.
CVE-2026-85045 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Race condition in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.82 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-45197 2026-09-08 N/A 2.5 LOW
Kernel software installed and running inside a Guest VM may post improper commands to the GPU Firmware to trigger a read and/or write data outside the Guest's virtualised GPU memory. The firmware uses data provided by the Guest VM to set up accesses to memory. It validated this before use, but a TOCTOU bug was present which allowed the earlier check results to be invalidated.
CVE-2026-19118 1 Github 1 Enterprise Server 2026-09-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A time-of-check time-of-use race condition vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed remote code execution. Exploitation required an authenticated user with write access to a repository and precise timing of concurrent upload requests. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.17.20, 3.18.14, 3.19.11, 3.20.7, and 3.21.5. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
