CVE-2026-79730 1 Dell 1 Secure Connect Gateway 2026-09-14 N/A 5.6 MEDIUM
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains a Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service.
CVE-2026-53250 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: cache csum_start/csum_offset to fix TOCTOU in xsk_skb_metadata() The TX metadata area resides in the UMEM buffer which is memory-mapped and concurrently writable by userspace. In xsk_skb_metadata(), csum_start and csum_offset are read from shared memory for bounds validation, then read again for skb assignment. A malicious userspace application can race to overwrite these values between the two reads, bypassing the bounds check and causing out-of-bounds memory access during checksum computation in the transmit path. Fix this by reading csum_start and csum_offset into local variables once, then using the local copies for both validation and assignment. Note that other metadata fields (flags, launch_time) and the cached csum fields may be mutually inconsistent due to concurrent userspace writes, but this is benign: the only security-critical invariant is that each field's validated value is the same one used, which local caching guarantees.
CVE-2026-88924 2026-09-11 N/A 7.0 HIGH
A flaw was found in the admin backend of gvfs. The privileged gvfsd-admin daemon changes the ownership of newly created private D-Bus sockets by calling the link-following chown() function on a pathname inside a user-controlled directory. A local attacker can exploit this via a Time-of-Check Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition and exchange the socket pathname with a symbolic link pointing to an arbitrary root-owned file (such as /etc/pam.d/su). The daemon subsequently follows the symlink and changes the ownership of the targeted root-owned file to the attacker's user ID. This allows an authenticated local attacker to modify critical system files, leading to a full local privilege escalation to root.
CVE-2026-63297 1 Canonical 1 Lxd 2026-09-11 N/A 9.9 CRITICAL
An authorization bypass vulnerability in LXD due to a timing flaw during configuration merging allows an authenticated attacker to bypass target project restrictions during cross-project instance copies. When copying an instance to a target project, LXD performs restriction checks before configuration merging is complete, creating a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) condition. An attacker can exploit this flaw to copy instances with disallowed high-privilege configurations into restricted projects, bypassing security controls.
CVE-2026-69859 2026-09-11 N/A 7.0 HIGH
Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows USB Audio Class driver (usbaudio.sys) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-68488 2026-09-10 N/A 9.9 CRITICAL
A Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition leading to insecure symlink following in Plesk causes local privilege escalation to root via arbitrary file/directory ownership takeover.
CVE-2026-73829 1 Zenhive 1 Machine Payments Protocol 2026-09-10 N/A 3.7 LOW
Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to redeem one confirmed on-chain payment for multiple paid-resource accesses. The type="hash" credential path in MPP.Methods.Tempo.verify/2 guards against replay with a non-atomic check-then-mark sequence: check_hash_unused/2 reads the dedup store, an eth_getTransactionReceipt round trip verifies the payment on chain, and only then does mark_hash_used/2 write the mark. Concurrent requests carrying the same settled payment hash all pass the read before any of them writes, so each is issued a receipt. The store's atomic check_and_mark/2 primitive is available and used by the type="transaction" path, but the hash path calls plain get and put even when the configured store implements it. Exploitation requires a dedup store to be configured; the default nil store is stateless and documented as offering no replay protection at all. This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.6.1.
CVE-2026-18477 2 Gnu, Redhat 3 Tar, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform 2026-09-10 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check Time-of-Use) vulnerability in GNU tar's incremental dumpdir 'X' rename handling allows a local attacker with write access to a directory being backed up to influence the restore process if the attacker has access to the system where the restore is being performed. During restoration, files or directories may be created, renamed or overwritten outside the intended extraction directory. This could lead to unauthorized file modification or, in some cases, privilege escalation. Exploitation does not require the attacker to modify or craft the archive, and standard backup and restore workflows—including extracting into a newly created directory without using the -P option do not mitigate the issue.
CVE-2026-28671 2026-09-10 N/A 3.3 LOW
In updateInternal of MediaProvider.java, there is a possible expose contents of files due to a race condition. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2026-87433 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-10 N/A 8.8 HIGH
Race condition in FileAPI in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-78464 1 Microsoft 3 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2, Windows 11 26h1 2026-09-10 N/A 7.0 HIGH
Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows MIDI Service Module allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-87996 2026-09-10 N/A 7.7 HIGH
Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.6 until 0.11.1, SafePlaywrightURLLoader in backend/open_webui/retrieval/web/utils.py validated a user-controlled hostname in Python and then let the Playwright browser resolve it again in the sync and async request interceptors. An authenticated user controlling authoritative DNS could return a public address to validation and an internal address to the browser, exposing responses from internal services or cloud metadata through web search or URL ingestion. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1.
CVE-2026-87554 2 Google, Microsoft 2 Chrome, Windows 2026-09-10 N/A 8.1 HIGH
Race condition in Chromoting in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a local attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a local program. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-87457 2 Google, Microsoft 2 Chrome, Windows 2026-09-10 N/A 8.1 HIGH
Race condition in Updater in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a local attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a local program. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-77573 2026-09-09 N/A 3.5 LOW
Weblate is a web-based continuous localization platform used to manage software translations. In versions prior to 2026.8, a user permitted to manage component repository URLs can perform server-side request forgery against internal services through DNS rebinding during VCS operations. Weblate validates the hostname's first DNS resolution, but the external VCS clients that later connect perform a separate DNS lookup, so an attacker-controlled hostname that initially resolves to a public address can be re-pointed to an internal or private address before the connection is made. By triggering a clone, fetch, push, or similar remote operation, the attacker can cause Weblate to reach internal VCS-compatible services and potentially expose private repository contents. Installations that permit untrusted repository hostnames while using VCS_RESTRICT_PRIVATE=True are affected. This issue is fixed in version 2026.8.
CVE-2026-54754 2026-09-09 N/A 9.6 CRITICAL
Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Prior to 1.7.19, marketplace settlement in core/kapp/market/market.go reads MarketOrderData.ReferralPercentage from the listing while reading asset.Royalties.MarketPercentage live at purchase time. An asset owner can create a valid listing and then use AssetTrigger UpdateRoyalties to make the combined referral and royalty percentages exceed the bid. executeBuyMarket pays referral and royalty amounts unconditionally while computeMarketOwnerAmount silently skips a nonpositive seller remainder, allowing MarketBuy, BuyItNow, or auction Claim settlement to credit more KLV or sale currency than the buyer paid. This can create unbacked currency and corrupt token supply integrity. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.19.
CVE-2026-55537 2026-09-09 N/A 7.1 HIGH
PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonai 4.6.58, JobSubmitRequest.validate_webhook_url() accepts webhook_url when resolution raises socket.gaierror because the exception path uses except socket.gaierror: pass. JobExecutor._send_webhook() later performs a fresh lookup, allowing DNS changes to direct the request to an internal service. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.58.
CVE-2026-55535 2026-09-09 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonai 4.6.58, the Jobs API validate_webhook_url() path fails open on socket.gaierror and does not bind the validated address to the later request. An attacker webhook_url can later resolve to 127.0.0.1, 169.254.169.254, or another internal address. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.58.
CVE-2026-49262 2026-09-09 N/A 3.0 LOW
In the Aimeos Pagible content management system prior to version 0.10.4, the administrative proxy route (`cmsproxy`) is vulnerable to a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attack via DNS Rebinding. A Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition exists between the URL validation phase and the actual HTTP request phase, allowing attackers to access internal network resources and cloud metadata endpoints. Version 0.10.4 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-67607 2026-09-09 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
LightFTP 2.3.1 contains a residual race condition vulnerability (an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-11144) in the worker_thread_cleanup() function of ftpserv.c that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to destabilize or crash the daemon by triggering unsynchronized access to shared per-connection state without holding the required mutex lock. Attackers can send a data-transfer command such as LIST followed immediately by ABOR to exploit the missing synchronization on shared context and detached thread id reuse, resulting in daemon destabilization or crash which can lead to a denial of service. The 2.3.1 patch only narrowed the timing window (an extra re-check and reordered cleanup), it never added the missing lock, so the underlying race remains.
