| CVE-2025-1281 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| The BM Content Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the ux_cb_remove_layout_ajax() and ux_cb_tools_export_ajax() functions in all versions up to, and excluding, 3.17.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). | |||||
| CVE-2026-76842 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH | ||
| The Mercado Pago Node.js SDK interpolates caller-supplied identifiers into API request paths without percent-encoding them, so characters that are structural in a URL survive into the outgoing request. The payment (get, capture, cancel), paymentRefund (create, total, list, get), advancedPayment (get, capture, cancel, update, updateReleaseDate) and disbursementRefund (create, createAll, listAll) clients build their path as a template literal, for example RestClient.fetch(`/v1/payments/${id}`, ...) in src/clients/payment/get/index.ts. A dot-dot or slash sequence in the identifier is normalised by the WHATWG URL parser and redirects the request to a different endpoint, and a question mark appends attacker-chosen query parameters, in both cases carrying the merchant's own access token. An application that forwards an identifier influenced by an untrusted party into one of these methods without an ownership check therefore allows that party to reach other resources within the merchant's token scope. The repository already contains the intended helper, encodePathParam in src/utils/path.ts, which pull request 451 applied to roughly 29 other clients while leaving these unchanged. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77914 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| rConfig Core 8.0.0 before 8.2.13 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files by supplying crafted filenames containing directory traversal sequences to the export download endpoint. Attackers can manipulate the filename parameter with traversal sequences to escape the intended export directory and access files outside it that are readable by the application process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-78381 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | N/A | ||
| RansomLook contains a path traversal vulnerability in the handling of the screen field associated with group posts. The GroupPost.get API handler concatenates the database-controlled screen value directly with the application's source/ directory and opens the resulting path without verifying that the resolved file remains within the intended directory. Because the screen field is free-form and can be populated either through the administrative post editor or through data imported from a remote RansomLook instance, a malicious upstream instance can provide traversal sequences such as ../config/generic.json. When the affected post is subsequently retrieved through the API, RansomLook resolves and reads the attacker-controlled path and returns the contents of the referenced file Base64-encoded in the API response. This can allow an attacker (being admin) controlling imported post data to read arbitrary files accessible to the RansomLook process, potentially exposing sensitive configuration data, API credentials, password hashes, or other application secrets. The attack does not require the malicious upstream to possess an account on the affected RansomLook instance. The vulnerability is addressed by resolving screen paths with os.path.realpath() and verifying that the resolved path remains beneath the application's source/ directory. Validation is performed both when values are written and immediately before files are read. Using canonical paths also prevents traversal through symbolic links that would bypass purely lexical path normalization checks. | |||||
| CVE-2026-62384 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| NLTK versions before 3.10.2 contain a symlink-based sandbox bypass in FramenetCorpusReader that allows attackers to read arbitrary XML files outside the corpus root. Attackers can place symlinks with names containing no path separators inside the corpus subdirectory, which pass the path validation guard and are resolved to files outside the intended corpus root when accessed via frame_by_name(), _lu_file(), or doc() methods. | |||||
| CVE-2025-68649 | 1 Fortinet | 4 Fortianalyzer, Fortianalyzer Cloud, Fortimanager and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 6.0 MEDIUM |
| An improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') vulnerability in Fortinet FortiAnalyzer 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiAnalyzer 7.4.0 through 7.4.7, FortiAnalyzer 7.2 all versions, FortiAnalyzer 7.0 all versions, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.4.0 through 7.4.7, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.2 all versions, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.0 all versions, FortiManager 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiManager 7.4.0 through 7.4.7, FortiManager 7.2 all versions, FortiManager 7.0 all versions, FortiManager Cloud 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiManager Cloud 7.4.0 through 7.4.7, FortiManager Cloud 7.2 all versions, FortiManager Cloud 7.0 all versions may allow a privileged attacker to delete files from the underlying filesystem via crafted CLI requests. | |||||
| CVE-2025-41753 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| The object name of a dynamically created BACnet File Object is interpreted as a file path without sufficient validation. Because relative paths are not limited to the intended directory, an unauthenticated remote attacker can traverse outside of it and read or overwrite arbitrary files on the device, which may lead to full system compromise. | |||||
| CVE-2026-62383 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| nltk versions before 3.10.2 contain a symlink-based arbitrary file read vulnerability in IPIPANCorpusReader methods that bypass nltk.pathsec validation entirely. Attackers can place a symlink in the corpus root directory and read arbitrary files accessible to the process by calling channels(), domains(), categories(), or fileids() methods with the symlink filename. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71364 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.2 HIGH | ||
| A path traversal vulnerability was found in AWX's project archive extraction. The project_archive action plugin extracts zip and tar archive members by joining the project directory path with the member filename without performing path normalization, boundary validation, or rejecting directory traversal sequences. A malicious archive containing members with path traversal components can write files to arbitrary locations on the execution node's filesystem outside the intended project directory. An attacker who controls the archive content, either through a compromised upstream source, a malicious archive URL, or a man-in-the-middle attack on a plain HTTP connection, can achieve arbitrary file writes as the user performing the extraction, potentially leading to remote code execution through mechanisms such as cron files, SSH authorized keys, or playbook content injection. | |||||
| CVE-2021-3426 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 2.7 LOW | 5.7 MEDIUM |
| There's a flaw in Python 3's pydoc. A local or adjacent attacker who discovers or is able to convince another local or adjacent user to start a pydoc server could access the server and use it to disclose sensitive information belonging to the other user that they would not normally be able to access. The highest risk of this flaw is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects Python versions before 3.8.9, Python versions before 3.9.3 and Python versions before 3.10.0a7. | |||||
| CVE-2019-9948 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| urllib in Python 2.x through 2.7.16 supports the local_file: scheme, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass protection mechanisms that blacklist file: URIs, as demonstrated by triggering a urllib.urlopen('local_file:///etc/passwd') call. | |||||
| CVE-2019-6111 | 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more | 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file). | |||||
| CVE-2026-102226 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') in Dynamics Business Central allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. | |||||
| CVE-2026-108544 | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 HIGH | 6.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability was identified in Lippu Docx Reader Office Viewer App up to 1.4.5 on Android. This affects the function word.office.docxviewer.document.docx.reader.ViewTxt. Such manipulation of the argument _display_name leads to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. | |||||
| CVE-2026-107377 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. From 0.59.0 until 0.81.0, an attacker-controlled Protobuf schema can supply absolute or parent-directory paths captured by WEAK_IMPORT_PATTERN and consumed by _write_missing_weak_imports in src/datamodel_code_generator/parser/protobuf.py. Exploitation requires a victim or automated job to process the attacker-controlled schema with Protobuf input support, which requires the grpcio-tools package. The paths escape the weak_imports temporary directory before protoc runs, allowing creation of directory trees and new files or overwrite of existing writable files with a generated Protobuf syntax declaration. The effect persists when later Protobuf compilation fails. The written content is limited to a proto2 or proto3 syntax declaration, and direct arbitrary code execution has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 0.81.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-105727 | 2026-10-13 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') in Dynamics Business Central allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. | |||||
| CVE-2026-102229 | 2026-10-13 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') in Visual Studio Code allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. | |||||
| CVE-2026-84320 | 2026-10-13 | N/A | 6.3 MEDIUM | ||
| Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. Prior to 2.4.3, Nginx UI validates an automatic backup's storage_path, but AutoBackup.GetName returns a user-controlled name without rejecting path separators or parent-directory components, and downstream filename formatting embeds that result in the final archive filename. An authenticated user who can create or modify an automatic backup can cause filepath.Join to resolve the generated archive path outside the validated storage directory, allowing backup archives to be written with the Nginx UI process privileges. For encrypted configuration backups, the adjacent encryption key file can also be written outside the validated directory. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-74043 | 2026-10-13 | N/A | 9.0 CRITICAL | ||
| Wazuh from 4.1.1 before 4.14.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability in upload_list_file, upload_rule_file, and upload_decoder_file that allows malicious cluster workers to write files at arbitrary paths. Attackers holding the cluster key can send DistributedAPI requests with ../ sequences in filename, bypassing REST controller validation, to write files as the wazuh user. | |||||
| CVE-2026-107321 | 2026-10-13 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM | ||
| The W3 Total Cache WordPress plugin before 2.10.6 does not confine a media-import file copy to the document root, nor enforce an effective file-type restriction on it, allowing users with the Author role or higher to plant content that, once an administrator runs the import, copies an arbitrary server-readable file into a publicly served directory, exposing it to unauthenticated retrieval. | |||||
