CVE-2026-55969 1 Apache 1 Thrift 2026-07-27 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Integer Overflow or Wraparound vulnerability in Apache Thrift C++, c_glib, Go, netstd, Delphi and Haxe bindings. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.24.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.24.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-47251 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-07-27 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. The fix for CVE-2026-3949 (commit `b97c8b5`, PR #1712) introduced an integer overflow in the very security check it added. The check itself can be bypassed, allowing a crafted HEIF file with a VVC track to trigger the same out-of-bounds heap read that CVE-2026-3949 was meant to prevent. This is a separate, currently-unpatched vulnerability. Issue #1712 was closed as fixed without testing the edge case where `size` is near `UINT32_MAX`. Version 1.22.0 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-53910 2026-07-27 N/A N/A
diff3 tool from GNU diffutils is vulnerable to a heap‑based buffer overflow due to multiple signed integer overflows in line‑mapping calculations. Incorrect arithmetic in mapping line ranges can result in corrupted values being used for memory allocation and loop bounds. When processing crafted diff output, these overflows may cause the application to allocate insufficient memory and subsequently perform out‑of‑bounds writes during internal processing.  An attacker who can control the output of the diff program used by diff3 (e.g. via --diff-program pointing to a malicious script) can trigger out-of-bounds writes, resulting in a crash and potentially remote code execution depending on the environment. This issue has been fixed in commit 9ff04d5b84743e331e80b589335a52c5480d1815  NOTE: The project maintainers claim that this is not a security issue. They state that the worst outcome this issue can cause is a crash of diff and that it cannot be used to escalate privileges.
CVE-2020-19909 1 Haxx 1 Curl 2026-07-26 N/A 3.3 LOW
Integer overflow vulnerability in tool_operate.c in curl 7.65.2 via a large value as the retry delay. NOTE: many parties report that this has no direct security impact on the curl user; however, it may (in theory) cause a denial of service to associated systems or networks if, for example, --retry-delay is misinterpreted as a value much smaller than what was intended. This is not especially plausible because the overflow only happens if the user was trying to specify that curl should wait weeks (or longer) before trying to recover from a transient error.
CVE-2026-33020 1 Saitoha 1 Libsixel 2026-07-25 N/A 7.1 HIGH
libsixel is a SIXEL encoder/decoder implementation derived from kmiya's sixel. Versions 1.8.7 and prior contain an integer overflow which leads to a heap buffer overflow via sixel_frame_convert_to_rgb888() in frame.c, where allocation size and pointer offset computations for palettised images (PAL1, PAL2, PAL4) are performed using int arithmetic before casting to size_t. For images whose pixel count exceeds INT_MAX / 4, the overflow produces an undersized heap allocation for the conversion buffer and a negative pointer offset for the normalization sub-buffer, after which sixel_helper_normalize_pixelformat() writes the full image data starting from the invalid pointer, causing massive heap corruption confirmed by ASAN. An attacker providing a specially crafted large palettised PNG can corrupt the heap of the victim process, resulting in a reliable crash and potential arbitrary code execution. This issue has been fixed in version 1.8.7-r1.
CVE-2026-3308 2026-07-25 N/A 7.8 HIGH
An integer overflow vulnerability in 'pdf-image.c' in Artifex's MuPDF version 1.27.0 allows an attacker to maliciously craft a PDF that can trigger an integer overflow within the 'pdf_load_image_imp' function. This allows a heap out-of-bounds write that could be exploited for arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2026-33019 1 Saitoha 1 Libsixel 2026-07-25 N/A 7.1 HIGH
libsixel is a SIXEL encoder/decoder implementation derived from kmiya's sixel. Versions 1.8.7 and prior contain an integer overflow leading to an out-of-bounds heap read in the --crop option handling of img2sixel, where positive coordinates up to INT_MAX are accepted without overflow-safe bounds checking. In sixel_encoder_do_clip(), the expression clip_w + clip_x overflows to a large negative value when clip_x is INT_MAX, causing the bounds guard to be skipped entirely, and the unclamped coordinate is passed through sixel_frame_clip() to clip(), which computes a source pointer far beyond the image buffer and passes it to memmove(). An attacker supplying a specially crafted crop argument with any valid image can trigger an out-of-bounds read in the heap, resulting in a reliable crash and potential information disclosure. This issue has been fixed in version 1.8.7-r1.
CVE-2026-42311 1 Python 1 Pillow 2026-07-24 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From version 10.3.0 to before version 12.2.0, processing a malicious PSD file could lead to memory corruption, potentially resulting in a crash or arbitrary code execution. This issue has been patched in version 12.2.0.
CVE-2026-42308 1 Python 1 Pillow 2026-07-24 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to version 12.2.0, if a font advances for each glyph by an exceeding large amount, when Pillow keeps track of the current position, it may lead to an integer overflow. This issue has been patched in version 12.2.0.
CVE-2025-43238 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-07-24 N/A 6.2 MEDIUM
An integer overflow was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.6, macOS Sonoma 14.7.7, macOS Ventura 13.7.7. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
CVE-2026-45130 2 Neovim, Vim 2 Neovim, Vim 2026-07-24 N/A 6.6 MEDIUM
Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to version 9.2.0450, a heap buffer overflow exists in read_compound() in src/spellfile.c when loading a crafted spell file (.spl) with UTF-8 encoding active. An attacker-controlled length field in the spell file's compound section overflows a 32-bit signed integer multiplication, causing a small buffer to be allocated for a write loop that runs many iterations, overflowing the heap. Because the 'spelllang' option can be set from a modeline, a text file modeline can trigger spell file loading if a malicious .spl file has been planted on the runtimepath. This issue has been patched in version 9.2.0450.
CVE-2026-34219 1 Protocol 1 Libp2p-gossipsub 2026-07-24 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
libp2p-rust is the official rust language Implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to version 0.49.4, the Rust libp2p Gossipsub implementation contains a remotely reachable panic in backoff expiry handling. After a peer sends a crafted PRUNE control message with an attacker-controlled, near-maximum backoff value, the value is accepted and stored as an Instant near the representable upper bound. On a later heartbeat, the implementation performs unchecked Instant + Duration arithmetic (backoff_time + slack), which can overflow and panic with: overflow when adding duration to instant. This issue is reachable from any Gossipsub peer over normal TCP + Noise + mplex/yamux connectivity and requires no further authentication beyond becoming a protocol peer. This issue has been patched in version 0.49.4.

CVE-2026-16369 1 Mozilla 2 Firefox, Thunderbird 2026-07-24 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Integer overflow in the JavaScript: WebAssembly component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153, Firefox ESR 140.13, Thunderbird 153, and Thunderbird 140.13.
CVE-2026-27781 2026-07-24 N/A 3.3 LOW
in OpenHarmony v6.0 and prior versions allow a local attacker cause DOS.
CVE-2026-44983 2026-07-24 N/A 7.3 HIGH
smallbitvec is a growable bit-vector for Rust, optimized for size. From 1.0.1 to 2.6.0, an integer overflow in the internal capacity calculation of smallbitvec can lead to an undersized heap allocation, resulting in a heap buffer overflow through safe APIs only. This allows memory corruption without requiring unsafe code from the caller. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.1.
CVE-2026-48691 1 Pavel-odintsov 1 Fastnetmon 2026-07-24 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 contains an integer overflow in the BGP AS_PATH attribute encoder. In src/bgp_protocol.hpp, the IPv4UnicastAnnounce::get_attributes() function computes attribute_length as 'sizeof(bgp_as_path_segment_element_t) + this->as_path_asns.size() * sizeof(uint32_t)' and stores it in a uint8_t field (line 600-605). Since uint8_t can only hold values 0-255, an AS_PATH containing more than 63 ASNs (2 + 64*4 = 258 > 255) causes silent truncation. The truncated length is used for buffer sizing, while the actual data written is the full untruncated amount, resulting in a heap buffer overflow. Similarly, the path_segment_length field at line 621 is also uint8_t, truncating with more than 255 ASNs.
CVE-2026-48690 1 Pavel-odintsov 1 Fastnetmon 2026-07-24 N/A 7.1 HIGH
FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in the packet capture buffer allocation. In src/packet_storage.hpp, the allocate_buffer() function computes memory_size_in_bytes as 'buffer_size_in_packets * (max_captured_packet_size + sizeof(fastnetmon_pcap_pkthdr_t)) + sizeof(fastnetmon_pcap_file_header_t)' using unsigned int (32-bit) arithmetic. With max_captured_packet_size=1500 and sizeof(fastnetmon_pcap_pkthdr_t)=16, each packet requires approximately 1516 bytes. If buffer_size_in_packets exceeds approximately 2,832,542, the multiplication overflows, resulting in a much smaller allocation than expected. Subsequent write_packet() calls then write past the allocated buffer, causing heap corruption. The buffer_size_in_packets value is derived from the ban_details_records_count configuration parameter, which is parsed using atoi() with no overflow checking.
CVE-2026-24214 1 Nvidia 1 Triton Inference Server 2026-07-24 N/A 8.0 HIGH
NVIDIA Triton Inference Server contains a vulnerability in the DALI backend where an attacker could cause an integer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, data tampering, or denial of service.
