CVE-2026-55486 2026-10-30 N/A 9.3 CRITICAL
The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 25.08 to before version 26.05, the IIIF Auth 2.0 endpoints auth/login and auth/token in AuthorizationFlowResource accept an origin query parameter without validation and then (1) embed it into the Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors response header and (2) embed it into an HTML response body as a JavaScript single-quoted postMessage argument. Because the attacker controls both the login and token calls that initiate the flow, the unescaped value yields reflected XSS. This issue has been patched in version 26.05.
CVE-2025-71381 2026-10-29 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
Hono before 4.10.3 contains a flaw in its CORS middleware: when the origin is not set to "*", the middleware copies the Vary header from the incoming request into the response. Because Vary is a response header that should be managed by the server, an attacker can supply arbitrary Vary values that are reflected into the response, potentially causing cache key pollution and inconsistent CORS enforcement in environments that rely on shared caches or proxies.
CVE-2023-26142 1 Crowcpp 1 Crow 2026-10-29 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
All versions of the package crow are vulnerable to HTTP Response Splitting when untrusted user input is used to build header values. Header values are not properly sanitized against CRLF Injection in the set_header and add_header functions. An attacker can add the \r\n (carriage return line feeds) characters to end the HTTP response headers and inject malicious content.
CVE-2026-39971 1 S9y 1 Serendipity 2026-10-26 N/A 7.2 HIGH
Serendipity is a PHP-powered weblog engine. In versions 2.6-beta2 and below, the email sending functionality in include/functions.inc.php inserts $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] directly into the Message-ID SMTP header without validation, and the existing sanitization function serendipity_isResponseClean() is not called on HTTP_HOST before embedding it. An attacker who can control the Host header during an email-triggering action such as comment notifications or subscription emails can inject arbitrary SMTP headers into outgoing emails. This enables identity spoofing, reply hijacking via manipulated Message-ID threading, and email reputation abuse through the attacker's domain being embedded in legitimate mail headers. This issue has been fixed in version 2.6.0.
CVE-2026-34514 1 Aiohttp 1 Aiohttp 2026-10-26 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.13.4, an attacker who controls the content_type parameter in aiohttp could use this to inject extra headers or similar exploits. This issue has been patched in version 3.13.4.
CVE-2026-34520 1 Aiohttp 1 Aiohttp 2026-10-26 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.13.4, the C parser (the default for most installs) accepted null bytes and control characters in response headers. This issue has been patched in version 3.13.4.
CVE-2026-34519 1 Aiohttp 1 Aiohttp 2026-10-26 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.13.4, an attacker who controls the reason parameter when creating a Response may be able to inject extra headers or similar exploits. This issue has been patched in version 3.13.4.
CVE-2026-43870 1 Apache 1 Thrift 2026-10-26 N/A 7.3 HIGH
Origin Validation Error, Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal'), Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Request/Response Splitting'), Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Apache Thrift. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.23.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.23.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-7010 2026-10-26 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
HTTP::Tiny versions before 0.093 for Perl do not validate CRLF in HTTP request lines or control field header values. The unvalidated inputs are the method and URI in the request line, the URL host that becomes the `Host:` header, and HTTP/1.1 control data field values. An attacker who controls one of these inputs, for example a user supplied URL passed to a webhook or URL fetch endpoint, can inject additional headers and smuggle requests to the upstream server.
CVE-2026-41683 2026-10-26 N/A 8.6 HIGH
i18next-http-middleware is a middleware to be used with Node.js web frameworks like express or Fastify and also for Deno. Prior to version 3.9.3, i18next-http-middleware wrote user-controlled language values into the Content-Language response header after passing them through utils.escape(), which is an HTML-entity encoder that does not strip carriage return, line feed, or other control characters. When the application used an older i18next (< 19.5.0) that still exercised the backward-compatibility fallback at LanguageDetector.js:100 or otherwise produced a raw detected value, CRLF sequences in the attacker-controlled lng parameter reached res.setHeader('Content-Language', ...) verbatim. This issue has been patched in version 3.9.3.
CVE-2026-42874 2026-10-26 N/A 3.7 LOW
Microdot is a minimalistic Python web framework. Prior to 2.6.1, the Response.set_cookie() method does not sanitize its string arguments, and in particular will not detect the presence of the \r\n sequence in them. This can be a potential source of header injection attacks. For a header injection attack through this issue to be possible, an attacker must first infiltrate the client (for example through an independent XSS attack), so that it can send malicious information that is destined to be stored in a cookie by the server on behalf of the victim. An attacker that infiltrates one client can only orchestrate a header injection attack for that client, all other clients that were not infiltrated are safe. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.1.
CVE-2026-112880 2026-10-26 N/A N/A
Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Request/Response Splitting') vulnerability in hackney_http_connect in benoitc hackney allows HTTP Request Splitting via the value a proxy_auth_fun callback returns. After a 407 response from an HTTP CONNECT proxy, hackney_http_connect:handle_proxy_auth/11 calls the caller's proxy_auth_fun with the status code and the response headers and writes the returned binary into the Proxy-Authorization line of the CONNECT retry without checking it. A CR, LF or NUL byte in that value adds header lines to the request sent to the proxy. The value is attacker-influenced when the callback derives it from untrusted data, for example from the proxy's challenge headers. Other caller-supplied values on the CONNECT path, such as the target host and the request headers, were already checked for control bytes. This issue affects hackney: from 2.0.0 before 4.9.0.
CVE-2026-50630 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-26 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A CRLF injection vulnerability exists in the OAuth2 AuthorizationUtils class. When constructing the WWW-Authenticate response header, the 'realm' parameter is concatenated without sanitizing Carriage Return (CR) and Line Feed (LF) characters. If an attacker can control the realm value, they can inject arbitrary HTTP headers or split the HTTP response entirely. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-9658 2026-10-26 N/A 7.3 HIGH
Plack::Middleware::Security::Common versions before 0.13.1 for Perl did not block header injections in request paths. The header injection rule was ineffective at blocking header injections in the request paths unless they were double-encoded, for example, GET /path\r\nHTTP/1.1\r\nHost: secret.example.com Note that it is unclear whether request paths with CRLF followed by additional headers would be blocked by reverse proxies, or how they would be processed by Plack-based servers.
CVE-2026-55766 1 Guzzlephp 1 Psr-7 2026-10-25 N/A 4.8 MEDIUM
guzzlehttp/psr7 is a PSR-7 HTTP message library implementation in PHP. Prior to 2.12.1, guzzlehttp/psr7 did not reject CR/LF characters in certain first-party HTTP start-line fields: the request method, protocol version, and response reason phrase. If an application placed attacker-controlled data into one of those fields and later serialized the PSR-7 message as raw HTTP/1.x, for example with Message::toString() or an equivalent serializer, the serialized message could contain attacker-controlled header lines. The issue can also be reached through Message::parseRequest() or Message::parseResponse() when malformed raw messages are parsed into first-party PSR-7 objects and then serialized again. Creating or modifying a Request, Response, or other PSR-7 object alone is not sufficient. The issue requires the malformed message to be serialized and written to the network, forwarded, replayed, or otherwise processed by software that does not independently reject the malformed start line. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.12.1.
CVE-2026-50269 1 Aiohttp 1 Aiohttp 2026-10-25 N/A 7.5 HIGH
AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to 3.14.0, attacker-controlled input included into multipart/payload headers can be used to modify a request to inject additional headers or similar. In the unlikely situation that an application is passing user-controlled strings into MultipartWriter.append(headers=...) or Payload.headers, then an attacker may be able to modify the request to inject headers or change the contents of the request. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.14.0.
CVE-2026-49214 1 Guzzlephp 1 Psr-7 2026-10-25 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
guzzlehttp/psr7 is a PSR-7 HTTP message library implementation in PHP. Versions prior to 2.10.2 did not reject ASCII control characters, whitespace, or DEL in first-party URI host components. A vulnerable flow is: First, an application accepts a user-controlled URL. Second, the URL is used to construct a PSR-7 `Uri` or `Request`. Third, the host component contains CRLF or another header-unsafe character. Fourth, the host is copied into the PSR-7 `Host` header when no explicit `Host` header is provided. Finally, the request is serialized or sent by an HTTP client that does not independently reject the malformed host. In that flow, an attacker can cause the serialized request to contain additional attacker-controlled header lines. For example, a host containing `"\r\nX-Injected: yes"` can cause the generated `Host` header to span multiple HTTP header lines. Applications are affected when they use user-controlled URLs for outbound HTTP requests, URL forwarding, proxying, crawling, webhook delivery, or similar request-dispatch flows. In deployments involving HTTP/1.1 connection reuse, proxies, gateways, or load balancers, this malformed request may also contribute to request smuggling or cache poisoning, depending on how downstream components parse the request. The issue is patched in `2.10.2` and later. `1.x` is end-of-life and will not receive a patch. As a workaround, validate and reject all untrusted URI strings before constructing PSR-7 `Uri` or `Request` instances. Reject input containing ASCII control characters, whitespace, or DEL, including CRLF, tab, space, NUL, or DEL characters. Applications that forward requests should also ensure the final HTTP client or serializer rejects invalid URI and header data before writing requests to the network.
CVE-2026-50188 2026-10-25 N/A N/A
Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.4 and 5.4.4, Kirby sites and plugins using the Kirby Http Remote class, including Remote::request(), Remote::get(), and Remote::post(), to send outgoing HTTP requests with untrusted data in the headers option could allow newline characters in a header value to inject a separate unintended request header to the remote service. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.4 and 5.4.4.
CVE-2026-63771 2026-10-24 N/A 7.1 HIGH
Adminer before 5.4.3 contains a cookie injection vulnerability that allows attackers to manipulate cookie attributes by injecting arbitrary values through the unsanitized X-Forwarded-Prefix HTTP header used in Set-Cookie path attributes. Attackers can exploit a misconfigured reverse proxy to downgrade SameSite protection and enable cross-origin authenticated requests, bypassing cookie security controls.
CVE-2026-54163 2026-10-24 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
secure_headers manages application of security headers with many safe defaults. Prior to 7.3.0, secure_headers builds the Content-Security-Policy value by stitching directives with ; separators, and build_sandbox_list_directive, build_media_type_list_directive, and build_report_to_directive interpolate caller-supplied strings without scrubbing ;, \r, or \n. When untrusted input reaches SecureHeaders.override_content_security_policy_directives or append APIs for :sandbox, :plugin_types, or :report_to, an attacker can inject a CSP directive such as script-src 'unsafe-inline' * before the legitimate script-src, enabling XSS reachability through these sinks or CSP report exfiltration. This issue is fixed in version 7.3.0.
