| A flaw was found in GLib. A state confusion issue exists in g_dbus_node_info_new_for_xml() in the gio/gdbusintrospection.c file when processing malformed D-Bus introspection XML, specifically with a `node` element nested within other elements like `method`, `signal`, `property` or `arg`. This issue can cause an unsigned integer overflow and lead to an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2025-62231 | 4 Debian, Ibm, Redhat and 1 more | 11 Debian Linux, Aix, Vios and 8 more | 2026-11-05 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| A flaw was identified in the X.Org X server’s X Keyboard (Xkb) extension where improper bounds checking in the XkbSetCompatMap() function can cause an unsigned short overflow. If an attacker sends specially crafted input data, the value calculation may overflow, leading to memory corruption or a crash. | |||||
| CVE-2025-62230 | 4 Debian, Ibm, Redhat and 1 more | 11 Debian Linux, Aix, Vios and 8 more | 2026-11-05 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| A flaw was discovered in the X.Org X server’s X Keyboard (Xkb) extension when handling client resource cleanup. The software frees certain data structures without properly detaching related resources, leading to a use-after-free condition. This can cause memory corruption or a crash when affected clients disconnect. | |||||
| CVE-2025-2784 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 21 Libsoup, Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64 and 18 more | 2026-11-05 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in libsoup. The package is vulnerable to a heap buffer over-read when sniffing content via the skip_insight_whitespace() function. Libsoup clients may read one byte out-of-bounds in response to a crafted HTTP response by an HTTP server. | |||||
| CVE-2024-1062 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 13 Fedora, 389 Directory Server, Directory Server and 10 more | 2026-11-05 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A heap overflow flaw was found in 389-ds-base. This issue leads to a denial of service when writing a value larger than 256 chars in log_entry_attr. | |||||
| CVE-2024-12088 | 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more | 20 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 17 more | 2026-11-05 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in rsync. When using the `--safe-links` option, the rsync client fails to properly verify if a symbolic link destination sent from the server contains another symbolic link within it. This results in a path traversal vulnerability, which may lead to arbitrary file write outside the desired directory. | |||||
| CVE-2023-6915 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 24 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder and 21 more | 2026-11-05 | N/A | 6.2 MEDIUM |
| A Null pointer dereference problem was found in ida_free in lib/idr.c in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow an attacker using this library to cause a denial of service problem due to a missing check at a function return. | |||||
| CVE-2023-5455 | 3 Fedoraproject, Freeipa, Redhat | 21 Fedora, Freeipa, Codeready Linux Builder and 18 more | 2026-11-05 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A Cross-site request forgery vulnerability exists in ipa/session/login_password in all supported versions of IPA. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the user into submitting a request that could perform actions as the user, resulting in a loss of confidentiality and system integrity. During community penetration testing it was found that for certain HTTP end-points FreeIPA does not ensure CSRF protection. Due to implementation details one cannot use this flaw for reflection of a cookie representing already logged-in user. An attacker would always have to go through a new authentication attempt. | |||||
| CVE-2026-5201 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 18 Gdk-pixbuf, Ai Inference Server, Enterprise Linux and 15 more | 2026-11-04 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in the gdk-pixbuf library. This heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability occurs in the JPEG image loader due to improper validation of color component counts when processing a specially crafted JPEG image. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw without user interaction, for example, via thumbnail generation. Successful exploitation leads to application crashes and denial of service (DoS) conditions. | |||||
| CVE-2026-58379 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 4 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 1 more | 2026-11-04 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in GIMP's Paint Shop Pro (PSP) file format parser. This heap buffer overflow vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause arbitrary code execution or a denial of service (DoS) by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PSP image file. The vulnerability occurs because the software incorrectly calculates buffer sizes when processing low bit-depth images, leading to an overwrite of adjacent memory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-4775 | 3 Debian, Libtiff, Redhat | 13 Debian Linux, Libtiff, Ai Inference Server and 10 more | 2026-11-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in the libtiff library. A remote attacker could exploit a signed integer overflow vulnerability in the putcontig8bitYCbCr44tile function by providing a specially crafted TIFF file. This flaw can lead to an out-of-bounds heap write due to incorrect memory pointer calculations, potentially causing a denial of service (application crash) or arbitrary code execution. | |||||
| CVE-2025-3155 | 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat | 21 Debian Linux, Yelp, Codeready Linux Builder and 18 more | 2026-11-04 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Yelp. The Gnome user help application allows the help document to execute arbitrary scripts. This vulnerability allows malicious users to input help documents, which may exfiltrate user files to an external environment. | |||||
| CVE-2024-9675 | 2 Buildah Project, Redhat | 14 Buildah, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 11 more | 2026-11-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was found in Buildah. Cache mounts do not properly validate that user-specified paths for the cache are within our cache directory, allowing a `RUN` instruction in a Container file to mount an arbitrary directory from the host (read/write) into the container as long as those files can be accessed by the user running Buildah. | |||||
| CVE-2024-3183 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Aus, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more | 2026-11-04 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was found in FreeIPA in a way when a Kerberos TGS-REQ is encrypted using the client’s session key. This key is different for each new session, which protects it from brute force attacks. However, the ticket it contains is encrypted using the target principal key directly. For user principals, this key is a hash of a public per-principal randomly-generated salt and the user’s password. If a principal is compromised it means the attacker would be able to retrieve tickets encrypted to any principal, all of them being encrypted by their own key directly. By taking these tickets and salts offline, the attacker could run brute force attacks to find character strings able to decrypt tickets when combined to a principal salt (i.e. find the principal’s password). | |||||
| CVE-2024-0229 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, X.org | 8 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Aus and 5 more | 2026-11-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds memory access flaw was found in the X.Org server. This issue can be triggered when a device frozen by a sync grab is reattached to a different master device. This issue may lead to an application crash, local privilege escalation (if the server runs with extended privileges), or remote code execution in SSH X11 forwarding environments. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46300 | 3 Linux, Redhat, Siemens | 9 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Aus and 6 more | 2026-10-29 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: preserve shared-frag marker during coalescing skb_try_coalesce() can attach paged frags from @from to @to. If @from has SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG set, the resulting @to skb can contain the same externally-owned or page-cache-backed frags, but the shared-frag marker is currently lost. That breaks the invariant relied on by later in-place writers. In particular, ESP input checks skb_has_shared_frag() before deciding whether an uncloned nonlinear skb can skip skb_cow_data(). If TCP receive coalescing has moved shared frags into an unmarked skb, ESP can see skb_has_shared_frag() as false and decrypt in place over page-cache backed frags. Propagate SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG when skb_try_coalesce() transfers paged frags. The tailroom copy path does not need the marker because it copies bytes into @to's linear data rather than transferring frag descriptors. | |||||
| CVE-2026-34486 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 7 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Els and 4 more | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Missing Encryption of Sensitive Data vulnerability in Apache Tomcat due to the fix for CVE-2026-29146 allowing the bypass of the EncryptInterceptor. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: 11.0.20, 10.1.53, 9.0.116. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.21, 10.1.54 or 9.0.117, which fix the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39979 | 2 Jqlang, Redhat | 14 Jq, Ai Inference Server, Ansible Automation Platform and 11 more | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| jq is a command-line JSON processor. In commits before 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f, the jv_parse_sized() API in libjq accepts a counted buffer with an explicit length parameter, but its error-handling path formats the input buffer using %s in jv_string_fmt(), which reads until a NUL terminator is found rather than respecting the caller-supplied length. This means that when malformed JSON is passed in a non-NUL-terminated buffer, the error construction logic performs an out-of-bounds read past the end of the buffer. The vulnerability is reachable by any libjq consumer calling jv_parse_sized() with untrusted input, and depending on memory layout, can result in memory disclosure or process termination. The issue has been patched in commit 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f. | |||||
| CVE-2024-12087 | 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more | 18 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 15 more | 2026-10-21 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in rsync. It stems from behavior enabled by the `--inc-recursive` option, a default-enabled option for many client options and can be enabled by the server even if not explicitly enabled by the client. When using the `--inc-recursive` option, a lack of proper symlink verification coupled with deduplication checks occurring on a per-file-list basis could allow a server to write files outside of the client's intended destination directory. A malicious server could write malicious files to arbitrary locations named after valid directories/paths on the client. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4911 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 49 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 46 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges. | |||||
