| CVE-2026-63312 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| NLTK before 3.10.0 contains an arbitrary local file read vulnerability in StreamBackedCorpusView that bypasses pathsec.ENFORCE by calling builtins.open() directly instead of pathsec.open(). Attackers who control the fileid argument can read arbitrary local files regardless of the ENFORCE setting, including sensitive system files and application credentials. | |||||
| CVE-2026-65915 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| NLTK versions before 3.10.0 contain a logic bug in FileSystemPathPointer.open() where the sandbox validation check compares a normalized path against itself, making the security check permanently inert. Attackers can pass file:// URLs to nltk.data.load() to read arbitrary files accessible to the process user, including credentials and configuration files. | |||||

| CVE-2026-48914 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 6.7 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw was found in QEMU's virtio-blk device. The issue arises because the device does not properly validate the size of input descriptors before writing data. A malicious guest with high privileges could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a malformed virtio-blk SCSI request, leading to an out-of-bounds write in the host heap memory and a potential denial of service (DoS) for the QEMU process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-2243 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 5.1 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw was found in QEMU. A specially crafted VMDK image could trigger an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, potentially leading to a 12-byte leak of sensitive information or a denial of service condition (DoS). | |||||
| CVE-2026-18739 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 2.5 LOW | ||
| A flaw was found in popt, a command-line option parsing library. An off-by-one error in the poptStuffArgs function, when repeatedly called by a host application or through deep alias nesting, can lead to corruption of internal program data. This corruption could potentially enable a local attacker to execute arbitrary code if the host application then unsafely processes the altered data. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13753 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Certain HP DeskJet All-in-One printers may be potentially vulnerable to information disclosure that allows an unauthenticated attacker to access sensitive information through exposed APIs. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13595 | 2 Kernel, Redhat | 4 Util-linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the libblkid library of util-linux. During nested partition probing, the BSD, Minix, Solaris x86, and UnixWare partition probers cache a raw pointer to a parent partition entry in a dynamically allocated array. When subsequent partition additions cause the array to be reallocated, this pointer becomes stale, leading to a heap use-after-free read. An attacker who can present a crafted block device image (for example, via USB insertion or a loop-mounted disk image) can trigger this flaw without user interaction, as libblkid is invoked automatically by udev/udisks as root on block-device hot-plug events. This could lead to limited information disclosure or denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13002 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
| A flow has been identified into dnssec.c library, causing an infinite loop to dnsmasq service. An attacker who controls any DNSSEC-signed zone can hang the dnsmasq process with a single crafted response, killing all DNS resolution for its clients. | |||||
| CVE-2026-12505 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| A flaw was found in the cifs-utils package where the cifs.upcall helper fails to securely drop its root privileges before looking up user information inside a user-controlled environment. A local, low privileged attacker can exploit this by using a crafted request_key payload to trick the root-owned helper into entering a custom environment (namespace) containing a malicious NSS module. This forces the system to load the attacker's controlled NSS Module and configuration, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands as the root user, elevating their privileges and fully compromising the system. | |||||
| CVE-2026-11850 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 5.0 MEDIUM | ||
| An integer underflow vulnerability was found in MIT krb5 in the berval2tl_data() function in plugins/kdb/ldap/libkdb_ldap/ldap_principal2.c. The function performs an unsigned subtraction (bv_len - 2) without a prior bounds check. When bv_len is 0 or 1, the subtraction wraps to a large value which is then truncated to uint16_t, yielding 0xFFFE (65534) or 0xFFFF (65535). The subsequent malloc succeeds and memcpy reads up to 65534 bytes from a 0-1 byte buffer, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds read. The attack vector involves a malicious or compromised LDAP KDB backend returning a krbExtraData attribute with bv_len < 2, triggering the underflow when the KDC or kadmind reads principal data. | |||||
