| CVE-2018-1000802 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 1 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Python Software Foundation Python (CPython) version 2.7 contains a CWE-77: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability in shutil module (make_archive function) that can result in Denial of service, Information gain via injection of arbitrary files on the system or entire drive. This attack appear to be exploitable via Passage of unfiltered user input to the function. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in after commit add531a1e55b0a739b0f42582f1c9747e5649ace. | |||||
| CVE-2016-0718 | 9 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 6 more | 14 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 11 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Expat allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a malformed input document, which triggers a buffer overflow. | |||||
| CVE-2019-5010 | 4 Debian, Opensuse, Python and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Leap, Python and 4 more | 2026-10-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the X509 certificate parser of Python.org Python 2.7.11 / 3.6.6. A specially crafted X509 certificate can cause a NULL pointer dereference, resulting in a denial of service. An attacker can initiate or accept TLS connections using crafted certificates to trigger this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2018-14647 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2026-10-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| Python's elementtree C accelerator failed to initialise Expat's hash salt during initialization. This could make it easy to conduct denial of service attacks against Expat by constructing an XML document that would cause pathological hash collisions in Expat's internal data structures, consuming large amounts CPU and RAM. The vulnerability exists in Python versions 3.7.0, 3.6.0 through 3.6.6, 3.5.0 through 3.5.6, 3.4.0 through 3.4.9, 2.7.0 through 2.7.15. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31431 | 10 Amazon, Arista, Canonical and 7 more | 60 Amazon Linux, Cloudvision Agni, Cloudvision Portal and 57 more | 2026-09-08 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: algif_aead - Revert to operating out-of-place This mostly reverts commit 72548b093ee3 except for the copying of the associated data. There is no benefit in operating in-place in algif_aead since the source and destination come from different mappings. Get rid of all the complexity added for in-place operation and just copy the AD directly. | |||||
| CVE-2020-8619 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-09-01 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 4.9 MEDIUM |
| In ISC BIND9 versions BIND 9.11.14 -> 9.11.19, BIND 9.14.9 -> 9.14.12, BIND 9.16.0 -> 9.16.3, BIND Supported Preview Edition 9.11.14-S1 -> 9.11.19-S1: Unless a nameserver is providing authoritative service for one or more zones and at least one zone contains an empty non-terminal entry containing an asterisk ("*") character, this defect cannot be encountered. A would-be attacker who is allowed to change zone content could theoretically introduce such a record in order to exploit this condition to cause denial of service, though we consider the use of this vector unlikely because any such attack would require a significant privilege level and be easily traceable. | |||||
| CVE-2020-1938 | 7 Apache, Blackberry, Debian and 4 more | 21 Geode, Tomcat, Good Control and 18 more | 2026-08-25 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| When using the Apache JServ Protocol (AJP), care must be taken when trusting incoming connections to Apache Tomcat. Tomcat treats AJP connections as having higher trust than, for example, a similar HTTP connection. If such connections are available to an attacker, they can be exploited in ways that may be surprising. In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99, Tomcat shipped with an AJP Connector enabled by default that listened on all configured IP addresses. It was expected (and recommended in the security guide) that this Connector would be disabled if not required. This vulnerability report identified a mechanism that allowed: - returning arbitrary files from anywhere in the web application - processing any file in the web application as a JSP Further, if the web application allowed file upload and stored those files within the web application (or the attacker was able to control the content of the web application by some other means) then this, along with the ability to process a file as a JSP, made remote code execution possible. It is important to note that mitigation is only required if an AJP port is accessible to untrusted users. Users wishing to take a defence-in-depth approach and block the vector that permits returning arbitrary files and execution as JSP may upgrade to Apache Tomcat 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later. A number of changes were made to the default AJP Connector configuration in 9.0.31 to harden the default configuration. It is likely that users upgrading to 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later will need to make small changes to their configurations. | |||||
| CVE-2020-10683 | 5 Canonical, Dom4j Project, Netapp and 2 more | 38 Ubuntu Linux, Dom4j, Oncommand Api Services and 35 more | 2026-08-25 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| dom4j before 2.0.3 and 2.1.x before 2.1.3 allows external DTDs and External Entities by default, which might enable XXE attacks. However, there is popular external documentation from OWASP showing how to enable the safe, non-default behavior in any application that uses dom4j. | |||||
| CVE-2019-17569 | 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 16 Tomcat, Tomee, Debian Linux and 13 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 4.8 MEDIUM |
| The refactoring present in Apache Tomcat 9.0.28 to 9.0.30, 8.5.48 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.98 to 7.0.99 introduced a regression. The result of the regression was that invalid Transfer-Encoding headers were incorrectly processed leading to a possibility of HTTP Request Smuggling if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that incorrectly handled the invalid Transfer-Encoding header in a particular manner. Such a reverse proxy is considered unlikely. | |||||
| CVE-2019-11046 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-08-17 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 3.7 LOW |
| In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.26, 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0, PHP bcmath extension functions on some systems, including Windows, can be tricked into reading beyond the allocated space by supplying it with string containing characters that are identified as numeric by the OS but aren't ASCII numbers. This can read to disclosure of the content of some memory locations. | |||||
| CVE-2019-11050 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-08-17 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 4.8 MEDIUM |
| When PHP EXIF extension is parsing EXIF information from an image, e.g. via exif_read_data() function, in PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.26, 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0 it is possible to supply it with data what will cause it to read past the allocated buffer. This may lead to information disclosure or crash. | |||||
| CVE-2019-11045 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-08-17 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 3.7 LOW |
| In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.26, 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0, PHP DirectoryIterator class accepts filenames with embedded \0 byte and treats them as terminating at that byte. This could lead to security vulnerabilities, e.g. in applications checking paths that the code is allowed to access. | |||||
| CVE-2019-16779 | 3 Debian, Excon Project, Opensuse | 4 Debian Linux, Excon, Backports Sle and 1 more | 2026-07-28 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.8 MEDIUM |
| In RubyGem excon before 0.71.0, there was a race condition around persistent connections, where a connection which is interrupted (such as by a timeout) would leave data on the socket. Subsequent requests would then read this data, returning content from the previous response. The race condition window appears to be short, and it would be difficult to purposefully exploit this. | |||||
| CVE-2016-9842 | 8 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 5 more | 19 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 16 more | 2026-07-14 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| The inflateMark function in inflate.c in zlib 1.2.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to have unspecified impact via vectors involving left shifts of negative integers. | |||||
| CVE-2025-32463 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 3 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 5 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.3 CRITICAL |
| Sudo before 1.9.17p1 allows local users to obtain root access because /etc/nsswitch.conf from a user-controlled directory is used with the --chroot option. | |||||
