| CVE-2022-0778 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Mariadb and 4 more | 15 Debian Linux, Fedora, Mariadb and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| The BN_mod_sqrt() function, which computes a modular square root, contains a bug that can cause it to loop forever for non-prime moduli. Internally this function is used when parsing certificates that contain elliptic curve public keys in compressed form or explicit elliptic curve parameters with a base point encoded in compressed form. It is possible to trigger the infinite loop by crafting a certificate that has invalid explicit curve parameters. Since certificate parsing happens prior to verification of the certificate signature, any process that parses an externally supplied certificate may thus be subject to a denial of service attack. The infinite loop can also be reached when parsing crafted private keys as they can contain explicit elliptic curve parameters. Thus vulnerable situations include: - TLS clients consuming server certificates - TLS servers consuming client certificates - Hosting providers taking certificates or private keys from customers - Certificate authorities parsing certification requests from subscribers - Anything else which parses ASN.1 elliptic curve parameters Also any other applications that use the BN_mod_sqrt() where the attacker can control the parameter values are vulnerable to this DoS issue. In the OpenSSL 1.0.2 version the public key is not parsed during initial parsing of the certificate which makes it slightly harder to trigger the infinite loop. However any operation which requires the public key from the certificate will trigger the infinite loop. In particular the attacker can use a self-signed certificate to trigger the loop during verification of the certificate signature. This issue affects OpenSSL versions 1.0.2, 1.1.1 and 3.0. It was addressed in the releases of 1.1.1n and 3.0.2 on the 15th March 2022. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.2 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1n (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1m). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zd (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2zc). | |||||
| CVE-2022-0391 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 10 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Hci and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Python, specifically within the urllib.parse module. This module helps break Uniform Resource Locator (URL) strings into components. The issue involves how the urlparse method does not sanitize input and allows characters like '\r' and '\n' in the URL path. This flaw allows an attacker to input a crafted URL, leading to injection attacks. This flaw affects Python versions prior to 3.10.0b1, 3.9.5, 3.8.11, 3.7.11 and 3.6.14. | |||||

| basic/unit-name.c in systemd prior to 246.15, 247.8, 248.5, and 249.1 has a Memory Allocation with an Excessive Size Value (involving strdupa and alloca for a pathname controlled by a local attacker) that results in an operating system crash. | |||||
| CVE-2021-33574 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more | 20 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc and 17 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| The mq_notify function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) versions 2.32 and 2.33 has a use-after-free. It may use the notification thread attributes object (passed through its struct sigevent parameter) after it has been freed by the caller, leading to a denial of service (application crash) or possibly unspecified other impact. | |||||
| CVE-2021-33560 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnupg and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libgcrypt and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| Libgcrypt before 1.8.8 and 1.9.x before 1.9.3 mishandles ElGamal encryption because it lacks exponent blinding to address a side-channel attack against mpi_powm, and the window size is not chosen appropriately. This, for example, affects use of ElGamal in OpenPGP. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28861 | 2 Fedoraproject, Python | 2 Fedora, Python | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| Python 3.x through 3.10 has an open redirection vulnerability in lib/http/server.py due to no protection against multiple (/) at the beginning of URI path which may leads to information disclosure. NOTE: this is disputed by a third party because the http.server.html documentation page states "Warning: http.server is not recommended for production. It only implements basic security checks." | |||||
| CVE-2021-28363 | 3 Fedoraproject, Oracle, Python | 3 Fedora, Peoplesoft Enterprise Peopletools, Urllib3 | 2026-10-14 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| The urllib3 library 1.26.x before 1.26.4 for Python omits SSL certificate validation in some cases involving HTTPS to HTTPS proxies. The initial connection to the HTTPS proxy (if an SSLContext isn't given via proxy_config) doesn't verify the hostname of the certificate. This means certificates for different servers that still validate properly with the default urllib3 SSLContext will be silently accepted. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28153 | 4 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.8. When g_file_replace() is used with G_FILE_CREATE_REPLACE_DESTINATION to replace a path that is a dangling symlink, it incorrectly also creates the target of the symlink as an empty file, which could conceivably have security relevance if the symlink is attacker-controlled. (If the path is a symlink to a file that already exists, then the contents of that file correctly remain unchanged.) | |||||
| CVE-2021-28041 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Openbsd and 1 more | 11 Fedora, Cloud Backup, Hci Compute Node and 8 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.1 HIGH |
| ssh-agent in OpenSSH before 8.5 has a double free that may be relevant in a few less-common scenarios, such as unconstrained agent-socket access on a legacy operating system, or the forwarding of an agent to an attacker-controlled host. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27645 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc | 2026-10-14 | 1.9 LOW | 2.5 LOW |
| The nameserver caching daemon (nscd) in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.29 through 2.33, when processing a request for netgroup lookup, may crash due to a double-free, potentially resulting in degraded service or Denial of Service on the local system. This is related to netgroupcache.c. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27219 | 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 7 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.6 and 2.67.x before 2.67.3. The function g_bytes_new has an integer overflow on 64-bit platforms due to an implicit cast from 64 bits to 32 bits. The overflow could potentially lead to memory corruption. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27218 | 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 7 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.7 and 2.67.x before 2.67.4. If g_byte_array_new_take() was called with a buffer of 4GB or more on a 64-bit platform, the length would be truncated modulo 2**32, causing unintended length truncation. | |||||
