CVE-2026-44453 1 H2o 1 H2o 2026-08-06 N/A 7.5 HIGH
h2o is an HTTP server with support for HTTP/1.x, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3. Prior to commit 6b5370d, h2o is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack when calling alloca under certain conditions. When serving static files, h2o builds the file path on stack, by calling alloca. The maximum size of the memory allocated using alloca can be as huge as ~600KB, which exceeds the default pthread stack size used by musl libc (128KB). If the amount of memory allocated by alloca exceeds the stack size, the h2o server crashes with a segmentation fault, while it tries to touch the guard page. This issue has been fixed by commit 6b5370d.
CVE-2026-44008 1 Vm2 Project 1 Vm2 2026-08-06 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.2, the new method neutralizeArraySpeciesBatch works with objects from the other side but can call into this side via getter on the array prototype exposing objects of the wrong side into the sandbox. This can be used to get host objects and get the host Function object. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.2.
CVE-2026-44006 1 Vm2 Project 1 Vm2 2026-08-06 N/A 10.0 CRITICAL
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.0, It is possible to reach BaseHandler.getPrototypeOf, which can be used to get arbitrary prototypes. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.0.
CVE-2026-44004 1 Vm2 Project 1 Vm2 2026-08-06 N/A 7.5 HIGH
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.0, sandboxed code can call Buffer.alloc() with an arbitrary size to allocate memory directly on the host heap. Because Buffer.alloc is a synchronous C++ native call, vm2's timeout option cannot interrupt it. A single request can exhaust host memory and crash the process with a FATAL ERROR: Reached heap limit. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.0.
CVE-2026-44001 1 Vm2 Project 1 Vm2 2026-08-06 N/A 8.6 HIGH
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.0, a sandbox escape vulnerability in vm2 v3.10.5 allows any sandboxed code to crash the host Node.js process via a single Promise constructor that triggers an unhandled rejection propagating to the host. The fix for CVE-2026-22709 (v3.10.2) only sanitized the onRejected callback in .then() and .catch() overrides and did not address the executor-to-unhandledRejection path. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.0.
CVE-2026-31617 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-06 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_ncm: validate minimum block_len in ncm_unwrap_ntb() The block_len read from the host-supplied NTB header is checked against ntb_max but has no lower bound. When block_len is smaller than opts->ndp_size, the bounds check of: ndp_index > (block_len - opts->ndp_size) will underflow producing a huge unsigned value that ndp_index can never exceed, defeating the check entirely. The same underflow occurs in the datagram index checks against block_len - opts->dpe_size. With those checks neutered, a malicious USB host can choose ndp_index and datagram offsets that point past the actual transfer, and the skb_put_data() copies adjacent kernel memory into the network skb. Fix this by rejecting block lengths that cannot hold at least the NTB header plus one NDP. This will make block_len - opts->ndp_size and block_len - opts->dpe_size both well-defined. Commit 8d2b1a1ec9f5 ("CDC-NCM: avoid overflow in sanity checking") fixed a related class of issues on the host side of NCM.
CVE-2026-42397 1 Elastic 1 Kibana 2026-08-06 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CWE-770) in Kibana can lead to a denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated user can submit a specially crafted request to affected Entity Analytics endpoints containing an oversized input value that causes excessive resource consumption, which may render Kibana unavailable.
CVE-2026-49092 1 Elastic 1 Kibana 2026-08-06 N/A 4.3 MEDIUM
Unintended Proxy or Intermediary ('Confused Deputy') (CWE-441) in Kibana can lead to unauthorized information exposure via Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs (CAPEC-1). Under certain conditions, a lower-privileged user can cause data from sources they are not authorized to access to be processed using another user's privileges.
CVE-2026-56146 1 Elastic 1 Kibana 2026-08-06 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
Improper Access Control (CWE-284) in Kibana can lead to unauthorized modification of Entity Analytics Watchlist configuration and potential information disclosure. A low-privileged authenticated user with read-only Security Solution access could perform write operations on watchlist data that should require elevated privileges. Under specific deployment conditions, this could also allow such a user to access data beyond their authorized scope.
CVE-2026-56147 1 Elastic 1 Kibana 2026-08-06 N/A 7.1 HIGH
Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key (CWE-639) in Kibana can lead to unauthorized information disclosure and case attachment integrity compromise via Privilege Abuse (CAPEC-122). An inconsistency in Kibana's file access authorization logic allows a low-privileged authenticated user to retrieve, modify, and delete case attachments that belong to feature areas they are not authorized to access. Because the access control check and the resource retrieval use different resolution mechanisms, an authenticated attacker with limited file management permissions can obtain the contents of, modify, or delete protected case attachments — such as those associated with Security Solution cases — without holding the privileges required to access those features.
CVE-2026-63139 1 Elastic 1 Kibana 2026-08-06 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Kibana can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated low-privileged user can exploit an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in Kibana's Canvas functionality by sending a specially crafted request, causing the Kibana server process to terminate and resulting in a denial of service for all users of the affected Kibana instance.
CVE-2025-57848 2026-08-06 N/A 6.4 MEDIUM
A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain Container-native Virtualization images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container.
CVE-2023-3384 1 Redhat 1 Quay 2026-08-06 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Quay registry. While the image labels created through Quay undergo validation both in the UI and backend by applying a regex (validation.py), the same validation is not performed when the label comes from an image. This flaw allows an attacker to publish a malicious image to a public registry containing a script that can be executed via Cross-site scripting (XSS).
CVE-2026-65458 2026-08-06 N/A 4.3 MEDIUM
Exposure of Sensitive System Information to an Unauthorized Control Sphere vulnerability in Chouby Polylang and Chouby Polylang Pro allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This issue affects Polylang: through 3.8.5; Polylang Pro: through 3.8.5.
CVE-2026-51992 2026-08-06 N/A N/A
Rejected reason: This CVE ID has been rejected or withdrawn by its CVE Numbering Authority. ClickHouse's PostgreSQL integration intentionally allows users with valid PostgreSQL credentials to execute queries against a remote PostgreSQL server. No vulnerability in ClickHouse is exploited; code execution occurs on the downstream PostgreSQL server using credentials explicitly provided by the user with specific pg_execute_server_program permission, exploiting a feature that was wrongly reported as CVE-2019-9193 in PostgreSQL (https://www.postgresql.org/about/news/cve-2019-9193-not-a-security-vulnerability-1935/).
