| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stmmac: move the EST lock to struct stmmac_priv Reinitialize the whole EST structure would also reset the mutex lock which is embedded in the EST structure, and then trigger the following warning. To address this, move the lock to struct stmmac_priv. We also need to reacquire the mutex lock when doing this initialization. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: carl9170: add a proper sanity check for endpoints Syzkaller reports [1] hitting a warning which is caused by presence of a wrong endpoint type at the URB sumbitting stage. While there was a check for a specific 4th endpoint, since it can switch types between bulk and interrupt, other endpoints are trusted implicitly. Similar warning is triggered in a couple of other syzbot issues [2]. Fix the issue by doing a comprehensive check of all endpoints taking into account difference between high- and full-speed configuration. [1] Syzkaller report: ... | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix verifier assumptions about socket->sk The verifier assumes that 'sk' field in 'struct socket' is valid and non-NULL when 'socket' pointer itself is trusted and non-NULL. That may not be the case when socket was just created and passed to LSM socket_accept hook. Fix this verifier assumption and adjust tests. | |||||
