CVE-2026-46040 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inotify: fix watch count leak when fsnotify_add_inode_mark_locked() fails When fsnotify_add_inode_mark_locked() fails in inotify_new_watch(), the error path calls inotify_remove_from_idr() but does not call dec_inotify_watches() to undo the preceding inc_inotify_watches(). This leaks a watch count, and repeated failures can exhaust the max_user_watches limit with -ENOSPC even when no watches are active. Prior to commit 1cce1eea0aff ("inotify: Convert to using per-namespace limits"), the watch count was incremented after fsnotify_add_mark_locked() succeeded, so this path was not affected. The conversion moved inc_inotify_watches() before the mark insertion without adding the corresponding rollback. Add the missing dec_inotify_watches() call in the error path.
CVE-2026-31634 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM

CVE-2026-23291 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: pn533: properly drop the usb interface reference on disconnect When the device is disconnected from the driver, there is a "dangling" reference count on the usb interface that was grabbed in the probe callback. Fix this up by properly dropping the reference after we are done with it.
CVE-2026-22994 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix reference count leak in bpf_prog_test_run_xdp() syzbot is reporting unregister_netdevice: waiting for sit0 to become free. Usage count = 2 problem. A debug printk() patch found that a refcount is obtained at xdp_convert_md_to_buff() from bpf_prog_test_run_xdp(). According to commit ec94670fcb3b ("bpf: Support specifying ingress via xdp_md context in BPF_PROG_TEST_RUN"), the refcount obtained by xdp_convert_md_to_buff() will be released by xdp_convert_buff_to_md(). Therefore, we can consider that the error handling path introduced by commit 1c1949982524 ("bpf: introduce frags support to bpf_prog_test_run_xdp()") forgot to call xdp_convert_buff_to_md().
CVE-2025-21745 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-cgroup: Fix class @block_class's subsystem refcount leakage blkcg_fill_root_iostats() iterates over @block_class's devices by class_dev_iter_(init|next)(), but does not end iterating with class_dev_iter_exit(), so causes the class's subsystem refcount leakage. Fix by ending the iterating with class_dev_iter_exit().
CVE-2025-21648 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: clamp maximum hashtable size to INT_MAX Use INT_MAX as maximum size for the conntrack hashtable. Otherwise, it is possible to hit WARN_ON_ONCE in __kvmalloc_node_noprof() when resizing hashtable because __GFP_NOWARN is unset. See: 0708a0afe291 ("mm: Consider __GFP_NOWARN flag for oversized kvmalloc() calls") Note: hashtable resize is only possible from init_netns.
CVE-2024-58086 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/v3d: Stop active perfmon if it is being destroyed If the active performance monitor (`v3d->active_perfmon`) is being destroyed, stop it first. Currently, the active perfmon is not stopped during destruction, leaving the `v3d->active_perfmon` pointer stale. This can lead to undefined behavior and instability. This patch ensures that the active perfmon is stopped before being destroyed, aligning with the behavior introduced in commit 7d1fd3638ee3 ("drm/v3d: Stop the active perfmon before being destroyed").
CVE-2024-36959 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: devicetree: fix refcount leak in pinctrl_dt_to_map() If we fail to allocate propname buffer, we need to drop the reference count we just took. Because the pinctrl_dt_free_maps() includes the droping operation, here we call it directly.
CVE-2024-26993 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: sysfs: Fix reference leak in sysfs_break_active_protection() The sysfs_break_active_protection() routine has an obvious reference leak in its error path. If the call to kernfs_find_and_get() fails then kn will be NULL, so the companion sysfs_unbreak_active_protection() routine won't get called (and would only cause an access violation by trying to dereference kn->parent if it was called). As a result, the reference to kobj acquired at the start of the function will never be released. Fix the leak by adding an explicit kobject_put() call when kn is NULL.
CVE-2024-26891 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Don't issue ATS Invalidation request when device is disconnected For those endpoint devices connect to system via hotplug capable ports, users could request a hot reset to the device by flapping device's link through setting the slot's link control register, as pciehp_ist() DLLSC interrupt sequence response, pciehp will unload the device driver and then power it off. thus cause an IOMMU device-TLB invalidation (Intel VT-d spec, or ATS Invalidation in PCIe spec r6.1) request for non-existence target device to be sent and deadly loop to retry that request after ITE fault triggered in interrupt context. CVE-2023-51767 3 Fedoraproject, Openbsd, Redhat 3 Fedora, Openssh, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-15 N/A 7.0 HIGH
OpenSSH through 10.0, when common types of DRAM are used, might allow row hammer attacks (for authentication bypass) because the integer value of authenticated in mm_answer_authpassword does not resist flips of a single bit. NOTE: this is applicable to a certain threat model of attacker-victim co-location in which the attacker has user privileges. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier, who states "we do not consider it to be the application's responsibility to defend against platform architectural weaknesses."
CVE-2023-7008 2 Debian, Systemd Project 2 Debian Linux, Systemd 2026-10-14 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in systemd-resolved. This issue may allow systemd-resolved to accept records of DNSSEC-signed domains even when they have no signature, allowing man-in-the-middles (or the upstream DNS resolver) to manipulate records.
CVE-2023-4039 1 Gnu 1 Gcc 2026-10-14 N/A 4.8 MEDIUM
**DISPUTED**A failure in the -fstack-protector feature in GCC-based toolchains that target AArch64 allows an attacker to exploit an existing buffer overflow in dynamically-sized local variables in your application without this being detected. This stack-protector failure only applies to C99-style dynamically-sized local variables or those created using alloca(). The stack-protector operates as intended for statically-sized local variables. The default behavior when the stack-protector detects an overflow is to terminate your application, resulting in controlled loss of availability. An attacker who can exploit a buffer overflow without triggering the stack-protector might be able to change program flow control to cause an uncontrolled loss of availability or to go further and affect confidentiality or integrity. NOTE: The GCC project argues that this is a missed hardening bug and not a vulnerability by itself.
CVE-2015-5346 3 Apache, Canonical, Debian 3 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux 2026-10-14 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
Session fixation vulnerability in Apache Tomcat 7.x before 7.0.66, 8.x before 8.0.30, and 9.x before 9.0.0.M2, when different session settings are used for deployments of multiple versions of the same web application, might allow remote attackers to hijack web sessions by leveraging use of a requestedSessionSSL field for an unintended request, related to CoyoteAdapter.java and Request.java.
CVE-2015-1197 1 Gnu 1 Cpio 2026-10-14 1.9 LOW N/A
