| Dell PowerStore contains an Improper Neutralization of Argument Delimiters in a Command ('Argument Injection') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to modification of arbitrary system files. | |||||
| CVE-2026-86060 | 1 Mikrotik | 1 Routeros | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| RouterOS contains an argument-handling flaw in the SSH login path involving usernames that begin with a prohibited character, allowing for the trusted RouterOS policy mask to be changed, leading to privilege escalation. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated SSH session to reach the RouterOS login helper.This issue was fixed in versions: 6.49.21 (Long-term), 7.23.4 (Long-term) and 7.24.2 (Stable) | |||||
| CVE-2026-0304 | 2026-09-11 | N/A | N/A | ||
| A privilege escalation vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR Broker VM enables an authenticated low privileged user with man-in-the-middle (MitM) access to execute code with root privileges on the Broker VM. | |||||
| CVE-2026-74237 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| GFI Exinda AI and ClearView before 7.6.5 contains an argument injection vulnerability in the Tools Iperf Client functionality. The web_tools_cmd() function constructs an iperf command using the server and options parameters without sanitization, permitting injection of arbitrary iperf flags. An authenticated attacker with Unprivileged (lowest-level) access can supply the iperf -F flag to read an arbitrary file from the system and transmit its contents to an attacker-controlled server. | |||||
| CVE-2026-78635 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 5.0 MEDIUM | ||
| The Okta Privileged Access client URL handler does not insert an option terminator before appending the target value to the command-line arguments. When a scaleft:// protocol handler link contains a value beginning with a hyphen, the underlying CLI framework interprets it as a command-line flag, causing unintended modification of the SSH client's behavior. | |||||
| CVE-2025-61731 | 1 Golang | 1 Go | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| Building a malicious file with cmd/go can cause can cause a write to an attacker-controlled file with partial control of the file content. The "#cgo pkg-config:" directive in a Go source file provides command-line arguments to provide to the Go pkg-config command. An attacker can provide a "--log-file" argument to this directive, causing pkg-config to write to an attacker-controlled location. | |||||
| CVE-2026-8044 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| CWE-88: Improper Neutralization of Argument Delimiters in a Command ('Argument Injection') vulnerability exists that could cause remote code execution by an attacker with a privileged account when malicious arguments are provided as backup configuration parameters. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48711 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH | ||
| SSHFS is a network filesystem client for connecting to SSH servers. From version 1.4 until 3.7.6, SSHFS accepts a bracketed mount source such as [-oProxyCommand=CMD]:/path and find_base_path() removes the brackets, leaving a host value that begins with - and is passed directly to ssh as a command-line argument. When a caller also supplies a path-valued sftp_server, ssh treats the normalized host as an option and the server path as its destination, causing an injected ProxyCommand to execute locally before any connection or authentication succeeds. The attack requires a caller or wrapper that passes an attacker-controlled mount source to SSHFS with the required sftp_server configuration and results in arbitrary command execution as the user running SSHFS. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.6. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55673 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| PowSyBl (Power System Blocks) is a framework to build power system oriented software. Prior to 7.2.2, UnixLocalCommandExecutor and WindowsLocalCommandExecutor concatenate command arguments and environment variables into strings interpreted through bash -c or cmd /c without sufficient escaping. Attacker-controlled values reaching UnixLocalCommandExecutor.execute, WindowsLocalCommandExecutor.execute, LocalComputationManager.execute, ParallelLoadFlowActionSimulator.run, ActionSimulatorTool.run, AmplModelRunner.run, or AmplModelRunner.runAsync can break out of the intended command and execute arbitrary shell commands as the JVM user. The affected itools paths include action-simulator with task-count, security-analysis with external, and dynamic-security-analysis. Downstream CLI tools, libraries, REST front ends, and multi-tenant grid-analysis services that forward less-trusted contingency identifiers or computation parameters into these APIs can expose the injection remotely. This issue is fixed in version 7.2.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71377 | 2026-09-08 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| Command Argument Injection Vulnerability in Cosminexus Component Container. This issue affects Cosminexus Component Container: from 11-70-01 before 11-70-03, from 11-60 before 11-60-03, from 11-50 through 11-50-03, from 11-40 through 11-40-03, from 11-30 through 11-30-08, from 11-20 before 11-20-10, from 11-10 through 11-10-11, from 11-00 through 11-00-12, from 09-87 before 09-87-10, from 09-80 through 09-80-04, from 09-70 before 09-70-28, from 09-50 through 09-50-22, and from 09-00 through 09-00-18. | |||||
| CVE-2024-52011 | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 8.3 HIGH | ||
| launch-editor allows users to open files with line numbers in editor from Node.js. Prior to version 2.9.0, due to the insufficient sanitization of the `file` argument in the `launchEditor`, an attacker can execute arbitrary commands on Windows by supplying a filename that contains special characters. This issue has been fixed in the `launch-editor` version 2.9.0, corresponding to vite version 5.4.9. | |||||
| CVE-2026-16493 | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| A flaw was found in ansible-core. The _extract_collection_from_git() function in ansible-core's concrete_artifact_manager.py constructs git clone commands without a '--' (end-of-options) separator before user-supplied URLs when installing collections from git sources. An attacker who provides a crafted collection source URI containing git argument injection payloads can achieve arbitrary command execution when a user runs 'ansible-galaxy collection install' with the malicious source. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-11332, which hardened the role install path but missed the equivalent collection install code path. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76220 | 1 Gitpython Project | 1 Gitpython | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| GitPython before 3.1.58 contains a command execution vulnerability in the check_unsafe_options guard that can be bypassed by combining a single-character kwarg with split_single_char_options=False. Attackers can supply a crafted kwargs dictionary to guarded methods like clone_from to emit a joined token parsed as --upload-pack, enabling arbitrary OS command execution at default allow_unsafe_options=False. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76219 | 1 Gitpython Project | 1 Gitpython | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| GitPython versions before 3.1.58 contain an arbitrary file overwrite vulnerability in IndexFile.from_tree, IndexFile.reset, and IndexFile.merge_tree methods that append caller-influenced treeish strings to git read-tree without option validation or argument separation. Attackers can inject the --index-output option to overwrite arbitrary files with a valid git-index blob, destroying existing file content at attacker-controlled writable paths. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76218 | 1 Gitpython Project | 1 Gitpython | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| GitPython before 3.1.58 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in Repo.init that forwards unsafe git options without validation. Attackers can supply a template parameter pointing to a directory with malicious git hooks that execute arbitrary code when git operations are performed on the initialized repository. | |||||
| CVE-2026-79675 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| NLTK before 3.10.3 fails to validate JVM options passed through the per-call options parameter in the java() function, allowing attackers to inject dangerous JVM flags. Attackers can supply malicious options like -agentpath, -javaagent, or @argfile to Stanford wrapper classes to achieve arbitrary code execution. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76212 | 1 Phpmyfaq | 1 Phpmyfaq | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7, when configured to use PostgreSQL via the native pgsql PHP extension, declares an incorrect LIKE ESCAPE character ('=') in the Search/Database/Pgsql.php backend while escapeLikeWildcards() escapes user input with the '|' prefix. As a result, wildcard escaping is a no-op and user-supplied % and _ characters remain active LIKE wildcards. An unauthenticated attacker can submit such characters in the public FAQ search form to force maximally broad pattern matches and expensive sequential scans, resulting in a denial of service. The PDO PostgreSQL backend is not affected, and quotes remain escaped so this does not enable quote-breaking SQL injection or data exfiltration. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42266 | 1 Jupyter | 1 Jupyterlab | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From 4.0.0 to 4.5.6, the allow-list of extensions that can be installed from PyPI Extension Manager (allowed_extensions_uris) is not correctly enforced by JupyterLab. The PyPI Extension Manager was not contained to packages listed on the default PyPI index. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.7. | |||||
| CVE-2026-4519 | 1 Python | 1 Python | 2026-08-13 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
| The webbrowser.open() API would accept leading dashes in the URL which could be handled as command line options for certain web browsers. New behavior rejects leading dashes. Users are recommended to sanitize URLs prior to passing to webbrowser.open(). | |||||
| CVE-2026-20016 | 1 Cisco | 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 6.0 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability in the Cisco FXOS Software CLI feature for Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Secure FTD Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with root-level privileges. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of user-supplied command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted input for specific CLI commands. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying operating system with root-level privileges. | |||||
