CVE-2026-49987 1 Yamadashy 1 Repomix 2026-08-18 N/A 8.8 HIGH
Repomix is a tool that packs repositories into AI-friendly files. Prior to 1.14.1, src/core/git/gitCommand.ts execGitShallowClone passes the --remote-branch value directly to git fetch and git checkout without validation or --end-of-options, allowing --upload-pack or other Git option injection that bypasses validateGitUrl() dangerous parameter checks and can execute commands through local or SSH-style transports. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.1.
CVE-2026-73240 1 Apache 1 Allura 2026-08-17 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Specifically crafted inputs may lead to git argument injection in Apache Allura. This issue affects Apache Allura: before 1.19.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.19.1, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-4786 2026-08-13 N/A 7.1 HIGH
Mitgation of CVE-2026-4519 was incomplete. If the URL contained "%action" the mitigation could be bypassed for certain browser types the "webbrowser.open()" API could have commands injected into the underlying shell. See CVE-2026-4519 for details.
CVE-2026-4519 1 Python 1 Python 2026-08-13 N/A 3.3 LOW
The webbrowser.open() API would accept leading dashes in the URL which could be handled as command line options for certain web browsers. New behavior rejects leading dashes. Users are recommended to sanitize URLs prior to passing to webbrowser.open().
CVE-2026-20016 1 Cisco 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 N/A 6.0 MEDIUM
A vulnerability in the Cisco FXOS Software CLI feature for Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Secure FTD Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with root-level privileges. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of user-supplied command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted input for specific CLI commands. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying operating system with root-level privileges.
CVE-2026-31230 2026-08-11 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
The Adversarial Robustness Toolbox (ART) thru 1.20.1 contains a command-line argument injection vulnerability in its Kubeflow component (robustness_evaluation_fgsm_pytorch.py). The script uses the unsafe eval() function to parse string values provided via the --clip_values and --input_shape command-line arguments. This allows an attacker to inject arbitrary Python code into these arguments, which will be executed when eval() is called. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely if an attacker can control these arguments (e.g., through pipeline configuration or automated scripts), leading to arbitrary code execution on the system running the ART evaluation.
CVE-2026-17347 1 Pgadmin 1 Pgadmin 4 2026-08-07 N/A 7.5 HIGH
The MASTER_PASSWORD_HOOK setting, introduced in pgAdmin 4 7.2, lets an administrator configure an external command that returns a per-user encryption key, with %u in the configured string replaced by the current user's name. The previous implementation substituted the username directly into the command string and executed the result with subprocess.Popen(..., shell=True). Because the username can originate from an external authentication source (OAuth/OIDC claims, Kerberos, webserver auth) rather than a value pgAdmin fully controls, a username containing shell metacharacters (';', '$()', backticks, pipes, '&&', newlines) allowed an authenticated user to execute arbitrary commands as the pgAdmin service account in any deployment where the configured hook string uses %u. Fix tokenises the trusted, administrator-configured hook string into an argument vector first (using shlex in POSIX-quoting mode, with backslash-escaping disabled so Windows-style paths are not mis-parsed), substitutes the untrusted username into the individual argv elements, and executes with shell=False. The username is therefore always confined to a single argv element; any shell metacharacters it contains are inert. Administrators whose MASTER_PASSWORD_HOOK previously relied on shell features (pipes, redirection, environment-variable expansion, globbing) within the hook string itself must move that logic into the invoked script, since it is no longer interpreted by a shell. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: from 7.2 before 9.17.
CVE-2026-44210 1 Katacontainers 1 Kata Containers 2026-08-06 N/A 9.9 CRITICAL
Kata Containers is an open source project focusing on a standard implementation of lightweight Virtual Machines (VMs) that perform like containers. Versions prior to 3.31.0 ship with a default configuration that allows pod creators to inject arbitrary command-line arguments into the virtiofsd process through the `io.katacontainers.config.hypervisor.virtio_fs_extra_args` pod annotation. By injecting `-o source=/` along with `--no-announce-submounts` and `--sandbox=none`, an attacker can override the virtiofsd shared directory to serve the entire host root filesystem into the guest VM. Combined with the `kernel_params` annotation (also enabled by default) to activate the agent debug console, the attacker can mount the host filesystem from inside the VM and read or write any file on the host, including /etc/shadow. Version 3.31.0 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-35153 1 Dell 2 Data Domain Operating System, Powerprotect Dp Series Appliance 2026-08-04 N/A 6.7 MEDIUM
Dell PowerProtect Data Domain Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.6.0.0 and version 8.7.0.0, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.20, and LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.60 contain an improper neutralization of argument delimiters in a command ('argument injection') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to arbitrary command execution with root privileges.
CVE-2026-18157 2026-08-03 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in yggdrasil-worker-package-manager. A local attacker with existing access to the system could exploit an argument injection vulnerability in the APT backend. This allows specially crafted package names, which begin with a hyphen, to be misinterpreted as command options by apt-get. Successful exploitation could lead to remote code execution (RCE) with root privileges, enabling the attacker to fully compromise the system's integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
CVE-2026-15793 1 Mobyproject 1 Buildkit 2026-07-30 N/A 7.5 HIGH
BuildKit custom frontends or clients using the raw low-level API can set git.checkoutbundle=true when checking out Git sources. If the Git source is malicious, this could lead to a crafted command invocation on the host.
CVE-2026-50147 1 Metabase 1 Metabase 2026-07-30 N/A 7.6 HIGH
Metabase is an open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. From 1.57.0 until 1.57.19.1, 1.58.14.1, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4, an attacker who can configure a Metabase database connection can read arbitrary files from the Metabase server's filesystem by adding unsafe JDBC parameters to a MySQL or MariaDB connection, causing the driver to read files from the Metabase host and expose the contents through queries against the connected database or through validation error messages. This issue is fixed in versions 1.57.19.1, 1.58.14.1, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4.
CVE-2026-64624 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-07-29 N/A 7.8 HIGH
FreeRDP before 3.28.0 treats lines beginning with forward slash in RDP files as raw command-line options, exposing the entire CLI parser surface to untrusted files. Attackers can craft malicious RDP files with /rdp2tcp, /cert:ignore, or /drive options to execute arbitrary commands, bypass certificate validation, or expose local filesystems without user interaction.
CVE-2026-46529 2026-07-28 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Atril Document Viewer is the default document reader of the MATE desktop environment for Linux. A single-click remote code execution vulnerability in versions prior to 1.26.3 and 1.28.4 allows an attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution as the user by tricking them into clicking a link inside a malicious PDF document. The PDF can be packaged as a polyglot file that is simultaneously a valid PDF and a valid ELF shared library, making the attack a single-file, single-click, configuration-independent RCE on stock atril installations. The root cause is `shell/ev-application.c:ev_spawn`, which builds a command line from attacker-controlled PDF link-destination fields without applying `g_shell_quote`. The cmdline is then handed to `g_app_info_create_from_commandline`, which shell-parses it back into argv — splitting any embedded `--gtk-module=PATH` into a separate argv element. GTK then `dlopen()`s the path during init, running any `__attribute__((constructor))` it finds. Versions 1.26.3 and 1.28.4 contain a patch for the issue. This is the same defect class as CVE-2023-51698 (CBT `--checkpoint-action` injection in `comics-document.c`, fixed in 1.6.2) but in a different code path (`shell/ev-application.c`) that the original patch did not touch.
CVE-2026-34769 1 Electronjs 1 Electron 2026-07-24 N/A 7.7 HIGH
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8, an undocumented commandLineSwitches webPreference allowed arbitrary switches to be appended to the renderer process command line. Apps that construct webPreferences by spreading untrusted configuration objects may inadvertently allow an attacker to inject switches that disable renderer sandboxing or web security controls. Apps are only affected if they construct webPreferences from external or untrusted input without an allowlist. Apps that use a fixed, hardcoded webPreferences object are not affected. This issue has been patched in versions 38.8.6, 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8.
CVE-2026-35033 1 Jellyfin 1 Jellyfin 2026-07-24 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
Jellyfin is an open source self hosted media server. Versions prior to 10.11.7 contain an unauthenticated arbitrary file read vulnerability via ffmpeg argument injection through the StreamOptions query parameter parsing mechanism. The ParseStreamOptions method in StreamingHelpers.cs adds any lowercase query parameter to a dictionary without validation, bypassing the RegularExpression attribute on the level controller parameter, and the unsanitized value is concatenated directly into the ffmpeg command line. By injecting a drawtext filter with a textfile argument, an attacker can read arbitrary server files such as /etc/shadow and exfiltrate their contents as text rendered in the video stream response. The vulnerable /Videos/{itemId}/stream endpoint has no Authorize attribute, making this exploitable without authentication, though item GUIDs are pseudorandom and require an authenticated user to obtain. This issue has been fixed in version 10.11.7.
CVE-2026-35538 1 Roundcube 1 Webmail 2026-07-24 N/A 3.1 LOW
An issue was discovered in Roundcube Webmail before 1.5.14 and 1.6.14. Unsanitized IMAP SEARCH command arguments could lead to IMAP injection or CSRF bypass during mail search.
CVE-2026-16796 2026-07-24 N/A 7.3 HIGH
Improper neutralization of argument delimiters in the install_packages() method in AWS Bedrock AgentCore Python SDK before 1.18.1 might allow a remote authenticated user to execute arbitrary commands within the Code Interpreter sandbox via crafted package name arguments. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to the patched version 1.18.1.
CVE-2026-45181 2026-07-24 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
Hex-Rays IDA Pro 9.2 and 9.3 before 9.3sp2 does not block Clang dependency-file generation (via argument injection), which allows attackers to place their code into a plugins directory if the victim uses an attacker-supplied .i64 file.
CVE-2026-42601 1 Archivebox 1 Archivebox 2026-07-24 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
ArchiveBox is an open source self-hosted web archiving system. In versions 0.8.6rc0 and prior, the /add/ endpoint (AddView in core/views.py) accepts a config JSON field that gets merged into the crawl config without validation. This config is exported as environment variables when archive plugins run, allowing injection of arbitrary tool arguments to achieve RCE. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
