| CVE-2026-59843 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images | 2026-09-01 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in libssh. A remote authenticated peer can advertise a zero maximum packet size in SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_OPEN, causing later channel writes to loop indefinitely and consume CPU, leading to denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82579 | 2026-09-01 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition (Infinite Loop) vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows an attacker who can influence a model's output to hang the tool loop and drive unbounded, repeated model requests. AshAi.ToolLoop classifies a model response of :tool_calls, then filters the calls through normalize_tool_calls/2 and unprocessed_tool_calls/2. Both can empty the list: a call missing a valid name, or one reusing a tool_call_id that already has a result in history, is dropped. With an empty list the loop appended nothing and recursed with a byte-identical message list, so the conversation never advanced and the same request was re-sent every iteration. Under the supported max_iterations: :infinity this never terminated; otherwise it exhausted the full budget. Prompt-injected content can make the model re-emit a spent tool_call_id. The fix treats an empty post-filter list as terminal. This issue affects ash_ai: from 0.6.0 before 1.0.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82605 | 2026-08-31 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 4.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability has been found in BareBones BBEdit up to 15.5.5. The affected element is an unknown function of the component Lasso Language Tokenizer. Such manipulation leads to infinite loop. The attack can be executed remotely. Upgrading to version 16.0 is sufficient to fix this issue. The affected component should be upgraded. | |||||
| CVE-2026-68762 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||

| CVE-2026-18726 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker on the same local network segment to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) in the iscsiuio daemon. By sending a specially crafted Internet Control Message Protocol version 6 (ICMPv6) Router Advertisement with a zero-length option, the attacker can trigger an infinite loop. This leads to sustained CPU usage, rendering the daemon unresponsive and impacting system availability. A secondary risk of out-of-bounds reads exists with a short IPv6 payload, though no memory corruption or data exposure has been confirmed. | |||||
| CVE-2026-4890 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| A Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the DNSSEC validation of dnsmasq allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted DNS packet. | |||||
| CVE-2026-20054 | 1 Cisco | 4 Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Snort and 1 more | 2026-08-20 | N/A | 5.8 MEDIUM |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 VBA feature that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash. This vulnerability is due to improper error checking when decompressing VBA data. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted VBA data to the Snort 3 Detection Engine on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to enter an infinite loop, causing a DoS condition. | |||||
| CVE-2026-64611 | 2026-08-19 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| A flaw was found in libcupsfilters. The cfIEEE1284NormalizeMakeModel() function enters an infinite loop when processing a printer-advertised IEEE-1284 device ID with an empty model field, causing sustained CPU consumption. A network-adjacent attacker could exploit this by broadcasting a specially crafted printer advertisement, leading to denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-11932 | 1 Ibm | 4 Security Verify Access, Security Verify Access Container, Verify Identity Access and 1 more | 2026-08-18 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |

| CVE-2026-64148 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pds_core: fix error handling in pdsc_devcmd_wait Fix two cases where pdsc_devcmd_wait() returns stale success from the completion register instead of an error: 1. FW crash: If firmware stops running, the wait loop breaks early with running=false. The condition "if ((!done || timeout) && running)" is false, so error handling is bypassed and stale status is returned. Check !running first and return -ENXIO. 2. Timeout: If a command times out, err is set to -ETIMEDOUT but then overwritten by pdsc_err_to_errno(status) which reads stale status. Return -ETIMEDOUT immediately after cleaning up. Both errors now propagate to pdsc_devcmd_locked() which queues health_work for recovery. | |||||
| CVE-2026-17229 | 1 Ibm | 1 I | 2026-08-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |

| CVE-2026-64290 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Break the loop on failure in iommufd_fault_fops_read() On a copy_to_user() failure inside the inner list_for_each_entry, only the inner loop breaks; the outer while re-fetches the just-restored fault group and retries the failing copy_to_user() forever, spinning the reader at 100% CPU with fault->mutex held. Check rc after the inner loop and break the outer while as well. | |||||

| CVE-2023-20083 | 1 Cisco | 1 Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| A vulnerability in ICMPv6 inspection when configured with the Snort 2 detection engine for Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the CPU of an affected device to spike to 100 percent, which could stop all traffic processing and result in a denial of service (DoS) condition. FTD management traffic is not affected by this vulnerability. This vulnerability is due to improper error checking when parsing fields within the ICMPv6 header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted ICMPv6 packet through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to exhaust CPU resources and stop processing traffic, resulting in a DoS condition. Note: To recover from the DoS condition, the Snort 2 Detection Engine or the Cisco FTD device may need to be restarted. | |||||
| CVE-2024-20353 | 1 Cisco | 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| A vulnerability in the management and VPN web servers for Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when parsing an HTTP header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to a targeted web server on a device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the device reloads. | |||||
| CVE-2026-59901 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-08-06 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, the `Bzip2Decoder` handler in Netty's compression codec pipeline is vulnerable to a denial-of-service attack through a malformed bzip2 stream that permanently captures the event-loop thread in an infinite loop. The vulnerability exists in the run-length encoding (RLE) state machine within [`Bzip2BlockDecompressor.read()`]. This issue has been fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final. | |||||
| CVE-2023-53026 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Fix ib block iterator counter overflow When registering a new DMA MR after selecting the best aligned page size for it, we iterate over the given sglist to split each entry to smaller, aligned to the selected page size, DMA blocks. In given circumstances where the sg entry and page size fit certain sizes and the sg entry is not aligned to the selected page size, the total size of the aligned pages we need to cover the sg entry is >= 4GB. Under this circumstances, while iterating page aligned blocks, the counter responsible for counting how much we advanced from the start of the sg entry is overflowed because its type is u32 and we pass 4GB in size. This can lead to an infinite loop inside the iterator function because the overflow prevents the counter to be larger than the size of the sg entry. Fix the presented problem by changing the advancement condition to eliminate overflow. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: fix a crash if ->get_sset_count() fails If ds->ops->get_sset_count() fails then it "count" is a negative error code such as -EOPNOTSUPP. Because "i" is an unsigned int, the negative error code is type promoted to a very high value and the loop will corrupt memory until the system crashes. Fix this by checking for error codes and changing the type of "i" to just int. | |||||
