| CVE-2026-88049 | 1 Tesseract-ocr | 1 Tesseract Ocr | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. In version 5.5.3 and earlier, prior .traineddata hardening added bounds checks to NetworkIO::CopyTimeStepGeneral and NetworkIO::Randomize in src/lstm/networkio.cpp but left NetworkIO::WriteTimeStepPart and NetworkIO::AddTimeStepPart unchecked. In LSTM::Forward in src/lstm/lstm.cpp, source_ is sized from the independently deserialized na_ field while the WriteTimeStepPart count is ns_, which comes from the CI gate WeightMatrix dim1() value. A crafted NT_LSTM layer can make ns_ much larger than na_, causing a heap out-of-bounds write during the first recognition step on the default LSTM engine and resulting in heap corruption, a crash, or potentially controlled corruption. No fixed release is available as of this review. | |||||
| CVE-2026-88048 | 1 Tesseract-ocr | 1 Tesseract Ocr | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. In version 5.5.3 and earlier, FullyConnected::DeSerialize in src/lstm/fullyconnected.cpp does not validate the deserialized layer scalars ni_ and no_ against the weight-matrix dimensions. During FullyConnected::Forward, MatrixDotVector in src/lstm/weightmatrix.cpp writes w.dim1() results into temp_line, which is sized from no_, and reads w.dim2() minus one inputs from curr_input, which is sized from ni_. A crafted .traineddata NT_SOFTMAX layer can therefore use inconsistent dimensions to cause a heap out-of-bounds write and read on the default LSTM engine, resulting in heap corruption, a crash, information disclosure, or potentially controlled corruption. No fixed release is available as of this review. | |||||

| CVE-2026-62653 | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| A vulnerability has been identified in Reyrolle 7SR5 (All versions < V2.70). The input received over a proprietary communication protocol that is exposed when the device is placed into a special firmware-update mode is not properly validated, resulting in a memory corruption condition. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker with physical access to the device to cause a crash and potentially execute arbitrary code on the device. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42055 | 2 F5, Redhat | 11 Dos, Nginx Gateway Fabric, Nginx Ingress Controller and 8 more | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_proxy_v2_module and ngx_http_grpc_module modules. This vulnerability exists when the proxy_http_version to 2 or grpc_pass directives are used to proxy HTTP/2 traffic, the ignore_invalid_headers directive is set to off, and the large_client_header_buffers directive size is larger than 2 megabytes. A remote, unauthenticated attacker, along with conditions beyond their control, could send large headers while creating an upstream request. This may cause a heap-based buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | |||||
| CVE-2026-28780 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in mod_proxy_ajp of Apache HTTP Server. If mod_proxy_ajp connects to a malicious AJP server this AJP server can send a malicious AJP message back to mod_proxy_ajp and cause it to write 4 attacker controlled bytes after the end of a heap based buffer. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.66. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.67, which fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-63072 | 1 Openssl | 1 Openssl | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Issue summary: OpenSSL CMS decryption sizes the key-unwrap output buffer based on querying the unwrapped key size, but the AES-WRAP-PAD unwrap primitive can write and cleanse more bytes than that query reports, causing an 8-byte out-of-bounds heap write. Impact summary: An attacker who supplies a crafted CMS message can trigger a deterministic 8-byte out-of-bounds heap write when the victim decrypts it with CMS_decrypt(), corrupting the heap and typically resulting in a Denial of Service. CWE: CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write Description: The key-wrap OID is potentially attacker-controlled on the wire. CMS unwrapping allows both id-aesNNN-wrap-pad and id-aesNNN-wrap ciphers. An attacker can take a legitimate message and change a single OID byte to select the padded variant while leaving the message otherwise valid. Since the unwrap key is derived from the recipient's private operation (ECDH key agreement or ML-KEM decapsulation), the RFC 5649 integrity check cannot pass, and the decryption fails with integrity failure. The write is a fixed-size (8-byte), fixed-value (zero) heap overflow immediately past the allocation, requires no special configuration, and is reachable from the public CMS_decrypt() function. The consequence is a heap corruption leading to a Denial of Service. The fix in the CMS code sizes the unwrap output buffer for the worst case so a failed unwrap cannot write past the allocation. FIPS impact: no As the CMS code lives outside the FIPS module boundary, no FIPS modules are affected by this CVE. | |||||

| CVE-2026-57159 | 1 Teluu | 1 Pjsip | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. Prior to commit 673b978, a remote out-of-bounds read and write can occur in the SDP negotiator when the remote payload-type map maintenance feature is enabled. assign_pt_and_update_map() in pjmedia/src/pjmedia/sdp_neg.c uses payload-type numbers taken from a remote SDP offer or answer to index fixed-size internal tables without sufficient bounds validation, so a crafted remote SDP can cause memory access outside those tables. The practical impact is memory corruption and denial of service; code execution is not demonstrated. This path is only reached when PJMEDIA_SDP_NEG_MAINTAIN_REMOTE_PT_MAP is enabled. The default is disabled, so default builds are not affected; the feature is an interoperability option that integrating products may enable. This issue has been patched via commit 673b978. | |||||

| CVE-2026-53938 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH | ||
| OpenIDC/cjose is a C library implementing the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE). Prior to version 0.6.2.5, cjose's JWE decryption path for the AES Key Wrap key-management algorithms (`alg` = `A128KW`, `A192KW`, `A256KW`) does not validate the length of the attacker-supplied `encrypted_key` (JWE Encrypted Key) before unwrapping it into a fixed-size, heap-allocated Content Encryption Key (CEK) buffer. A remote, unauthenticated attacker who can submit a crafted JWE to an application that decrypts it with an AES-KW symmetric key can trigger an out-of-bounds heap write, corrupting the heap. This leads at minimum to a crash (denial of service) and, depending on the heap layout and allocator, may be leverageable for further memory-corruption impact. `cjose_jwe_import()` / `cjose_jwe_decrypt()` are pre-authentication entry points: they parse and process fully attacker-controlled input. Upgrade to cjose 0.6.2.5 to receive a patch. If upgrading is not immediately possible, reject the AES Key Wrap algorithms (`A128KW`/`A192KW`/`A256KW`) for untrusted JWEs at the application layer. | |||||
| CVE-2026-84969 | 1 Mongodb | 1 C Driver | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 3.7 LOW |
| A memory-handling error in the BSON-to-JSON conversion helpers of the MongoDB C Driver can write a small number of bytes past the end of a heap buffer when a binary field is encoded and the output is cut short at a caller-configured length limit. A party who supplies the document content, with no privileges on the application that links the driver, may cause a small amount of data outside the intended buffer to be altered. | |||||

| CVE-2026-80113 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH | ||
| PassMark PerformanceTest before 11.1 build 1012, BurnInTest before 11.1 build 1000, and OSForensics before 11.1 build 1016 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in DirectIo64.sys that allows local users to clear arbitrary bits at any physical memory address due to missing validation of the physical address parameter in an exposed IOCTL handler. Attackers can obtain a device handle and supply an arbitrary 64-bit physical address with a bit index to invoke MmMapIoSpace and clear bits in kernel code pages or page table entries, enabling local privilege escalation or system compromise. | |||||

| CVE-2026-59679 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 9.0 CRITICAL | ||
| fs_read_glyphs() in the libXfont2 font-server client (src/fc/fserve.c) indexes the per-character encoding[] array using num_chars from the FS_QueryXBitmaps16 reply, but that array was allocated with a size derived from num_extents in the separate FS_QueryXExtents16 reply. The two CARD32 fields are never cross-checked. A malicious or compromised font server can send a small num_extents (e.g. 1) in the extents reply, then a large num_chars (e.g. 100000) in the bitmaps reply. This causes attacker-controlled out-of-bounds heap read and writes. | |||||
