| CVE-2026-55577 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-07-02 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-51 and 7.1.2-26, a heap buffer overflow occurs in the MVG decoder that could result in an out of bounds write when processing a crafted image. This issue has been fixed in versions 6.9.13-51 and 7.1.2-26. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55597 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-07-02 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to version 7.1.2-26, an incorrect handling of arguments can cause a heap buffer over-write in the JP2 encoder. This issue has been fixed in version7.1.2-26. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45258 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-07-01 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| dsp_mmap_single() validated the requested mapping by checking the sum of the user-supplied offset and length against the buffer size. This addition could overflow, so that a large offset and length wrapped around and passed the check. The offset was then narrowed from 64 to 32 bits when converted to a buffer address, yielding a mapping that extended past the audio buffer into unrelated kernel memory. The /dev/dsp device nodes are world-accessible by default. On a system with an audio device, either issue allows an unprivileged local user to read and write kernel memory, which can be used to escalate privileges, potentially gaining full control of the affected system. At a minimum, an attacker can crash the kernel, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | |||||
| CVE-2024-8443 | 2 Opensc Project, Redhat | 2 Opensc, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-30 | N/A | 2.9 LOW |
| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the libopensc OpenPGP driver. A crafted USB device or smart card with malicious responses to the APDUs during the card enrollment process using the `pkcs15-init` tool may lead to out-of-bound rights, possibly resulting in arbitrary code execution. | |||||
| CVE-2025-26598 | 3 Redhat, Tigervnc, X.org | 4 Enterprise Linux, Tigervnc, X Server and 1 more | 2026-06-29 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds write flaw was found in X.Org and Xwayland. The function GetBarrierDevice() searches for the pointer device based on its device ID and returns the matching value, or supposedly NULL, if no match was found. However, the code will return the last element of the list if no matching device ID is found, which can lead to out-of-bounds memory access. | |||||
| CVE-2025-26596 | 3 Redhat, Tigervnc, X.org | 4 Enterprise Linux, Tigervnc, X Server and 1 more | 2026-06-29 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A heap overflow flaw was found in X.Org and Xwayland. The computation of the length in XkbSizeKeySyms() differs from what is written in XkbWriteKeySyms(), which may lead to a heap-based buffer overflow. | |||||
| CVE-2025-26595 | 3 Redhat, Tigervnc, X.org | 4 Enterprise Linux, Tigervnc, X Server and 1 more | 2026-06-29 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A buffer overflow flaw was found in X.Org and Xwayland. The code in XkbVModMaskText() allocates a fixed-sized buffer on the stack and copies the names of the virtual modifiers to that buffer. The code fails to check the bounds of the buffer and would copy the data regardless of the size. | |||||
| CVE-2020-37208 | 1 Nsasoft | 1 Spotftp | 2026-06-29 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| SpotFTP 3.0.0.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the registration key input field that allows attackers to crash the application. Attackers can generate a 1000-character payload and paste it into the 'Key' field to trigger an application crash and denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-12528 | 1 Redhat | 3 389 Directory Server, Directory Server, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-28 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server in the __aclp__normalize_acltxt() function of aclparse.c. A malformed ACI (Access Control Instruction) string can trigger heap-buffer-overflow writes and reads during ACI parsing. The function fails to validate that the ACI keyword has sufficient length after whitespace stripping, leading to a 1-byte out-of-bounds write and subsequent out-of-bounds reads. An authenticated user with write access to the aci attribute could send a crafted ACI value to silently corrupt heap memory in the directory server process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-6679 | 1 Wolfssl | 1 Wolfssl | 2026-06-27 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A heap buffer overflow could occur in the DTLS 1.3 ACK serialization path before the connecting peer is authenticated. The buffer overflow was due to an integer truncation when computing the length of the ACK record-number list, causing an undersized buffer to be allocated and then overrun. This affects builds using DTLS 1.3 and wolfSSL version 5.9.0 and earlier. A fix was added to the 5.9.1 release. | |||||
| CVE-2026-6681 | 1 Wolfssl | 1 Wolfssl | 2026-06-27 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| The PKCS#7 decode path ignores the caller-supplied output buffer size (outputSz), allowing decoded content to be written past the bounds of the provided buffer. This affects wolfSSL 5.9.0 and earlier and was fixed in the 5.9.1 release. | |||||
| CVE-2026-6325 | 1 Wolfssl | 1 Wolfssl | 2026-06-27 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Out-of-bounds write in SetSuitesHashSigAlgo when processing an oversized signature algorithms list, allowing a write past the bounds of the destination buffer. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55892 | 1 Vim | 1 Vim | 2026-06-26 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0662, the dump_prefixes() function in src/spell.c walks a spell-file prefix trie iteratively with a depth counter while dumping the prefixes that apply to a word. The counter is bounded only by the trie structure itself; it is never checked against the size of the fixed MAXWLEN-element stack arrays it indexes (prefix[], arridx[], curi[]). A crafted .spl file, loaded when the user dumps the word list, can drive the descent arbitrarily deep, so the function writes past the end of those arrays. This is a stack out-of-bounds write that corrupts the call frame and crashes the editor. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.2.0662. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55958 | 1 Wolfssl | 1 Wolfssl | 2026-06-26 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Out-of-bounds write in the Renesas TSIP TLS 1.3 transcript buffer. In tsip_StoreMessage() the capacity check guarding the fixed message bag (MSGBAG_SIZE) sets an error code but fails to return, so execution falls through to an XMEMCPY that writes past the end of the buffer once the accumulated TLS 1.3 handshake transcript exceeds MSGBAG_SIZE (8 KB), corrupting adjacent heap state and potentially causing a remote denial of service crash. The bag is sized to hold a normal handshake, so this is reached only by an unusually large but valid certificate chain, or by a malicious or man-in-the-middle server sending an oversized handshake message to a client that does not strictly verify the chain. This only affects builds using the Renesas TSIP TLS port (WOLFSSL_RENESAS_TSIP_TLS) as a TLS 1.3 client on Renesas MCUs with TSIP hardware enabled, and is rated High within those builds. All other configurations are unaffected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55693 | 1 Vim | 1 Vim | 2026-06-26 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0653, the tree_count_words() function in src/spellfile.c fills in the word-count fields of a spell-file word trie by walking it iteratively with a depth counter. The counter is bounded only by the trie structure itself; it is never checked against the size of the fixed MAXWLEN-element stack arrays it indexes (arridx[], curi[], wordcount[]). A crafted .spl/.sug file pair, loaded when the user invokes spell suggestion, can drive the descent arbitrarily deep, so the function writes past the end of those arrays. This is a stack out-of-bounds write that corrupts the call frame and crashes the editor. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.2.0653. | |||||
| CVE-2023-40548 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 2 Fedora, Shim | 2026-06-26 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| A buffer overflow was found in Shim in the 32-bit system. The overflow happens due to an addition operation involving a user-controlled value parsed from the PE binary being used by Shim. This value is further used for memory allocation operations, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow. This flaw causes memory corruption and can lead to a crash or data integrity issues during the boot phase. | |||||
| CVE-2023-40547 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Shim | 2026-06-26 | N/A | 8.3 HIGH |
| A remote code execution vulnerability was found in Shim. The Shim boot support trusts attacker-controlled values when parsing an HTTP response. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a specific malicious HTTP request, leading to a completely controlled out-of-bounds write primitive and complete system compromise. This flaw is only exploitable during the early boot phase, an attacker needs to perform a Man-in-the-Middle or compromise the boot server to be able to exploit this vulnerability successfully. | |||||
