| GitHub CLI (gh) is GitHub's official command line tool. Versions 2.28.0 through 2.97.0 bind the local listener created by gh codespace ports forward to all available network interfaces by default. While port forwarding is active, a service in a Codespace can therefore become reachable through the user's non-loopback local IP addresses by other hosts that can route to the user's machine. This behavior does not change the GitHub-side visibility of the Codespaces port. Instead, it exposes the forwarded service through a wildcard-bound listener on the user's local machine, even when the source Codespaces port remains private. Exploitation requires a network-adjacent attacker to reach the victim's machine while forwarding is active. This issue is fixed in version 2.98.0. | |||||

| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 40.10.6, 41.9.1, 42.5.1, and 43.0.0, when a custom protocol handler returned a ProtocolResponse with a url and no session, Electron made the upstream request through defaultSession instead of the session that handled the protocol. A cached response could then be reused across otherwise isolated session partitions. Apps that use ProtocolResponse.url, omit ProtocolResponse.session, and rely on separate sessions to isolate content are affected. | vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.3, it is possible to catch a host exception using the yield* expression inside an async generator. When the generator is closed using the return function, the value is awaited on and exceptions thrown in the then call will be caught by the runtime and passed to the yield* iterator as the next value. This allows attackers to write code which can escape from the VM2 sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the host system. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.3. | |||||

| SiYuan 3.8.0 contains a path traversal / sensitive file exposure vulnerability in the RenderTemplate function (kernel/model/template.go), reachable via the POST /api/template/render endpoint (kernel/api/template.go). The endpoint restricts the supplied path only to the workspace directory (util.IsAbsPathInWorkspace) but, unlike the file API's refuseToAccess() blocklist, applies no sensitive-path exclusion. This allows an authenticated attacker to read sensitive workspace files, including conf/conf.json, which contains the API token and cookie signing key. The issue is fixed in v3.8.1. | |||||

| runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers on Linux according to the OCI specification. In runc 1.1.11 and earlier, due to an internal file descriptor leak, an attacker could cause a newly-spawned container process (from runc exec) to have a working directory in the host filesystem namespace, allowing for a container escape by giving access to the host filesystem ("attack 2"). The same attack could be used by a malicious image to allow a container process to gain access to the host filesystem through runc run ("attack 1"). Variants of attacks 1 and 2 could be also be used to overwrite semi-arbitrary host binaries, allowing for complete container escapes ("attack 3a" and "attack 3b"). runc 1.1.12 includes patches for this issue. | |||||
